Flourecent under black light is what i was referring to. Some beryls such as morganite could slightly flourece under black light but aquamarine does not. in this vid im trying to find ones that flourece to weed out corundum, heat treated topaz , spinel
I read in an article before that if you put a aquamarine gem to you forhead and its cold with no bubbles, scratches or inclusions it is a real gem. Now does that mean just a real gem in general or a real aquamarine gem? Thanks to anyone who can help me figure this out!
I purchased 2 aquamarine rings from different sources with claims they are genuine under the description. They felt cold against the head but now I am having doubts about the authenticity. Thanks Travs!
spinel can be very subjective black is selling cheap because there is so many other black stones to compeat with red spinels are usually sold alongside rubies as rubies still because they flourece and are real natural stones I hear from better collectors that red spinel will be worth as much as a ruby one of these greyish spinels are going to be a middle ground of who would care to pay for that specifically when even a heat treated topaz will usually take the market there
This was quite confusing...which is the real aquamarine then? U could have showed them on a white paper or in a white background... I seriously didn't understand which were the fake ones... please make a another video...if so please explain with the tweezers
Back at ya old school homie. you sound like you about loaded up on some good weed dude. Or really hate making this video what a shame that would be. Perk up dude life ain't so bad

I head this too there is a little truth but it doesn't distinguish anything scientific specific
