You inspired my friends and I so much that we went snorkeling in the Guadalupe River in Texas and we found three phones, a working iPhone, a Samsung with credit cards and ID, and another iPhone that was cracked and had water in it, a speaker, two fishing rods, sunglasses such as Oakleys and Chanel, and we uploaded videos on these finds on my channel. I just wanted to come say thank you for inspiring us, and keep up the great work!
***** Beau you could do these travel vids all the time. Im lovin it. Im sure you know deep digger dan has been traveling too im lovin Scotland also. Hh

What a fantastic show!! I'll add this one to my favorite Aquachigger video list, alongside the Silver hoard find in the creek! Enthralling to say the least! Well done Sir. Please hurry with part two! Thank you!!! You belong on television!
Cant wait for day day three and see what was in those concentrates. Gold prospecting can get in your blood so fast. Makes me want to get out there for sure.
This is awesome a vlog coming right out of Nome. what they are doing is my dream to do. hopefully someday I'll be there living my dream. I read their entire website and thinking of setting up a trip. Thanks for sharing!
I'm up in Far North Queensland and this is Gold Country. Send me a message if you want my email address, I know a gold detecting veteran up here and there's a good chance he'd be keen to take you out if you ever visited. Keep up the awesome videos!
Thanks loads, that was beyond awesome. I sure dig that gold belt buckle, maybe you should get yourself one?! LOL What nice old codgers you have for friends.

So cool. You sure have an exciting life Chiggy : ) Good for you. I saw a perfect heart-shaped rock on the mat I spot them everywhere and I collect them. Didn't you hear me yellin at you to get it for me? LOL.
I got the impression that in the first suction dredging sequences the operator was concentrating on pre-worked bottom material, it looked like it had been piled up by previous dredging.
I understand about the water being cold thus the need to pump hot water into their wet suites for heat. I’m curious why they don’t use dry suites? Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays and Be Blessed...!
I've been to nome and if you watch Bering sea gold.. I met Emily and the pomerenkes and even went in their cleanup shack. I also got a hat signed by Shaun and the guys
OMG Spencer is a spitting image of what my father used to look like ( except I can’t see his eyes, my dad had the most gorgeous blue eyes). Unfortunately We lost him 5 yr ago at only 58 yr old , god I miss him! 💕😢💕
I haven't seen this question addressed yet, but about the bullets - the fact that finding them is a good sign that the area hasn't been dredged is great. But I'm wondering how they got there in the first place. Outside of large predators, I can't imagine a need for shooting guns out there on the ocean. Some of the rounds looked too small to even wake up a polar bear, let alone make him mad enough to attack. I noticed too, that some had rings, indicating that they'd been there for a long time. So, what's the story?
bullets get carried from land to body of water through erosion and gravity. Flood waters carry the bullets from river to ocean or lake. Water is a powerful force.
In reference to the baby seal alone on beach in Nome. You said it was "such a sad sight." Yes, it gives heartache to any compassionate, loving person -- to see such a sweetly appealing being so alone and 100% vulnerable. Please, take positive action by calling the environmental police and Coast Guard to report that unprotected seal, Whatever their protocol it always is good to take a step of advocacy for vulnerable beings. Non-humans, especially, need our voices to speak for them. An infant animal alone may not be uncommon sight in that region, as mothers may need to leave their young to hunt Still, any officer could, at the very least, observe the animal and herd it away from the water and predators; make a report of its location and get a photo. If no protecting animal comes to retrieve it, an animal rescue organization, and/or wildlife rehabilitators, could be contacted. Their training could undoubtedly improve that seal;s situation, Please, make the call ! Thank you for showing its beauty and speaking up for its neediness,
I watched a special on TV where these huge dredges(not gold) were using what's called a dustpan dredging head. It shoots high pressure water into the seabed and sucks up the muck right after the water nozzles. I wonder in this situation where there is more rocks than fines would a pressure washer just like you find at home depot help wash the fines out of the rocks and into your dredge nozzle?
Does the older gentleman have a dive shop in Birmingham Al.? If so he approached me while I was at Alabama Gold Camp and offered me a season on his dredge about 2 years ago.
You're telling me that what I see on TV dredging shows isn't how it really is? I find that hard to believe; TV wouldn't lie to me, they told me so. LOL ; )

Interesting seeing how much hard work goes into finding what amounts to not much more than tiny yellow pebbles.
Neat to use the beach with hardly any tide. In Cook Inlet, Alaska the truck would be under water in ten minutes.
I love that I can watch your videos with my 6 year old daughter, she likes them too.
Great stuff Chigg loving every minute of it!!!
This was very interesting!!! I have done gold panning, and I have a small sluice box. I've never been to Alaska to do gold hunting. Maybe I should!!!
Geweldig om te zien hoe er goud uit de zee wordt gehaald.
For a minute I swear the golden buckle man sounded just like Johnny Cash! Great video for sure. thanks for sharing
Looks like a fun group of guys!
That was great. Those men were cool and that gold belt buckle was awesome!!
I see the glint in your eye Aqauchigger, gold fever has you. I have a feeling we will see more gold videos and you getting an GPAA membership!

Dragging those props in the gravel at 9:00 can't be good.

i kinda laughed when i saw that too... :)
The prop never hits but the skeg does.
Watch again...
May have knicked the gravel but skeg kicks the outboard up. I havent noticed any prop damage on it and they have been used for around 10 years.
At 5:16 there's a fish in the top right. Anyone else see it's?
"see it's" what? fin?
Sweet vid thanks Chigg
have u ever tried bringing a pry bar down and prying some off the cobble apart ?
Sure, that works.
I have been following gold dredged diving and interested to know if there are problems with sea preditors in the water and risk to divers ????

Wow that was cool great video
