    That's a nice days wage because U worked for it yourself. I'm 68 and crippled bad so can't get around... worse yet, I live in Alaska where there is gold in your pours when you wash yer face in the creek. Don't take long to get sleep out of eyes that way. When I was a kid, I was down your way.... sadly I can't remember many of the rivers but the Umqua (spelled wrong) and I used to haul logs to Coos Bay and other places. Never got the gold bug till I was too old to do it but I set my grand son up with a couple of excavators and a grizzly that we made. Set the whole thing up on one of my old semi's and it worked for him. He made more by himself than with someone but that's him. I did have one day on the Hoe and we pulled a 29 once one day! Never again... musta been in one bucket full. As round as your nuggets are, they are a coming from some where up the river. I have hit some jagged gold but really it don't count as it was stuck in cat track! Where did it come from.... don't know but we spent some time looking , I know it wasn't in the track long cause I keep my eyes on my tracks as much as possible.

    Zero Quanta::: The man said in the video that he sluethed just over an ounce of gold total... so at today's market price of gold being around $1,400 per ounce means he actually made approximately $1,400+. If he does this 5 days a week, he makes $7,000+ a week!!! Not bad money, huh?

    Hi.A little tip.When you are getting down to the back washing.Hold your pan a hair off level.By tapping hard and fast,the black sand will move towards the center of the pan and the gold will stay at the outside.Takes some playing but once you see it working will save you hours of cleanup.Luck Mcbain.

      Apparently a pennyweight is a 20th of an ounce, and there are 24 grains in 1 pennyweight. Small imperial measurements like this are used by jewelers in the US, but more often than not they are also using grams.

      It depends on the gold price fix and what percentage of that the gold refiner will pay.
      I prefer to sell my gold to jewelry makers, especially the coarse stuff. I can often get more than the gold fix price.

    • @buggsy5
      @buggsy5 4 года назад

      @Ty Uknow Notice that I sell the coarse nuggets to jewelry makers. Depending on size, they often pay far higher than spot for raw nuggets - and pay as if they were fine gold.
      Take some of your placer nuggets to a custom jewelry maker and try bargaining. I think you will be surprised how much you can get - especially for the larger nuggets.

      Robert lucas - Don't know the exact location, but here is info. about the Rogue River, Oregon, from Wikipedia --- Belts of plutons, which contain gold and other precious metals, run through the Klamaths and include the Ashland pluton, the Grayback batholith east of Oregon Caves National Monument, the Grants Pass pluton, the Gold Hill pluton, the Jacksonville pluton, and others.[26] Miners have worked rich deposits of gold, silver, copper, nickel, and other metals in several districts of the Klamaths. Placer mining in the mid-19th century soon led to lode mining for gold. Aside from a mine in eastern Oregon, the Greenback Mine along Grave Creek, a Rogue tributary, was the most productive gold mine in Oregon.[27]

Beginning of season drive an anchor stake above the section you wanna work then swing into your work area and same setup for the float back to shore? I know, I know, if you wanna find an easier way to do something give the task to a lazy person cause they will definitely figure it out 😆

    Hi ,if you were to put the gold and the black sand into a crucibul ,and melt it you add some flux, you will be able to remove the slag, and you will be left with 99.9 GOLD,
    no moor wishe washe around,moor time to dig.

      No. You would get rid of the black sand. But you would make the gold less pure by melting any lead and other metals into the gold button.
