Anyway we teens in 90s would get blazed outside the park then ride all the rides all night long until we got bored of the whole deal. Lol Fun times. No way my old aas would now

Love my Six Flags Over Tx..But my go to park as a teenager since I lived in texas was none other than Six Flags Astroworld..Now That was a theme park..Still SFOT Is a great park as well..

A Lady died there in 2013 after she fell from the New Texas Giant. She thought her lapbar was secured, but it wasn’t. She thought she heard a click as she tried to lock it down, but it never clicked. She explained to the employee that her lap bar was not appropriately secured, and when the ride started, and made that sharp turn, her lap bar came undone, and she tumbled 75 feet to her death.
I love how Disney the commercial is, I wish Over Texas was really like that.

My question is why Six Flags felt the need to use this for Over Texas. The point was to promote the new parks in the chain.
New or heavily remodeled parks. This was uses at Sixflags Great Adventure when they added 25 new rides and attractions in 1999
