Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand new start
But little does she know that when she left that day
Along with her she took my heart
Rain please tell me now does that seem fair
For her to steal my heart away when she don't care?
I can't love another when my hearts somewhere far away
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand new start
But little does she know that when she left that day
Along with her she took my heart
Rain won't you tell her that I love her so
Please ask the sun to set her heart aglow
Rain in her heart and let the love we knew start to grow
Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again
Oh, listen to the falling rain
Pitter patter, pitter patter
Oh, oh, oh, listen to the falling rain
Pitter patter, pitter patter

paxukulele, you've got one of the most pleasing and soothing voices I know. No fake or posing, just someone who needs to express himself through singing. Thanks for an inspiring and beautiful version of a classic. The vocal harmonies are the icing on the cake here.
Thanks, Floyd! I really appreciate it! I hope my love for the song comes through. One of my all-time favorite oldies... : )

Thanks, Jodie! I wasn't too happy with my first cover, although it did include a lightning flash indoors! I was disappointed to lose my keonepax channel, but at least it gave me a good reason to re-do some of my covers.
I love this song! I guess you can tell who the Baby Boomers are because your songs bring back such pleasant memories for us. I never saw the original video from your keonepax channel, so I'm really glad you did this remake. The rain in the background is the perfect setting!
Thanks, Jens! I lost my first cover, so I've been wanting to do this one again. Seemed like a good day to do it!
