Me too! Lost a bunch of footage from around Covid times due to a HD Crash and got demotivated! Been trying to get back into it of late and hope to continue now that I am up and running in my local area! Got guys that bring their trucks up to run all the time and we could be making bash videos off that alone, with a little prep! Thanks for your continued support!
Very comprehensive comparison... The Kagama has my interest. The value proposition is extreme. Are those JetKo king cobra rotating the wrong way for max grip?
Thanks! Had to come up with something different when I opened up my RC Shop after Covid. This is the RC version of it but the full PC/RC version is the logo on a laptop screen! I hope to get back to making some videos (especially driving ones). Lost motivation for a while there after filming about 6 videos worth and losing the videos before i got a chance to edit them, due to a hard drive crash! That and trying to get open local has kept me away! Thanks for the continued support!
Great cheap route! Shogun is essentially the Kronos with different tires and narrower pillow ball hubs! I made many Shogun/Muraco rollers when they were on sale as the electronics were great take offs and helped build some decent XTR's with. 50 is plenty on that platform anyway. I tell people to start with 4S on these cars at first and that puts them at a much more controllable 50mph! Enjoy it!
Great video and comparison my friend. Def like the Kronos XTR, but the Kagama looks awesome. Was thinking of getting the Punisher and a centre brace as they are on offer here in the Uk for £369 RTR?? From what I can see I would def be better paying the extra for the Kagama, would you agree? Keep up the good work.
yes. The re-release of the punisher comes with the brace (I believe the original brace?) and the upgraded hubs. The arm upgrades, the Swiss diff drives, new hinge pin holders and CNC gears are worth the added pricing... for under 200 USD more, IMO
The Chassis and Towers are different. I have parts from the Kagama I wanted to put on the XTR. I want the bulkhead hinge pin mounts as they are much thicker then the thinner 7075 plates that are on the XTR. The XTR has better towers (7075) and Chassis but to use the tower to tower brace, I would need to give up my Chassis (if I want to screw down the bulkhead hinge mounts), my metal angles chassis braces and my 7075 towers to do so. The new brace replaces all that and mounts through the towers. Other then those parts, the XTR is better or equal in all the other options. I will just upgrade to the 7075 hinge blocks if I damage the stock ones and keep my tower set up the way it is I guess!
worth it? probably not. Unless you were looking to get another 6S basher and looking at a Kraton or something. It has alot more over the stock punisher that makes it worth it but running the punisher and upgrading it to the Kagama parts as needed will always be cheaper... unless again you are looking at grabbing another 6S anyway. The hubs, hinge pin holders, arms and shock bottoms you can upgrade to if you break one and the same could be said about the chassis and diff gears.
@@jackgardener6069 yes.. arms may need to be replaced in pairs but you can replace the hinge pin holders, hubs and other parts as needed with Kagama parts
Not in the US.. the Punisher got a revision end of 2022 but the Kronos, Jambo and others are now "discontinued" in the states and I expect to see the same revisions on them as the Punisher got. Tower to tower and upgraded hubs!
While you’re at it, subtract 25$ for the worst battery trays in the Rc game in those corallys..they break every time..subtract another 65 for some of the worst RTR tires for 6S..and that new Kraton is killing these rigs.. I’ll give you better electronics..but they have so much power they destroy rear diffs..
i heard there will be a revision soon but it was not going to "replace". Revision on Kronos is said to be like what the Punisher got over seas... hubs upgrade, hinge pin holders and tower to tower bar. I guess we will know soon, for sure!
Class breakdown. Priceless for someone who is currently hovering over the buy now button on one of these puppies.
Miss your in-depth videos from the Redcat days Bravo!

Sweet rigs..Love the TC lineup
Good to see you making videos again!
Thank you.. and glad to be making some again... I always look at them more deeply when doing videos and am able to appreciate the differences more!
Great vid! You do the best value comparisons on RUclips!
Thank You!!! and Thank you for watching!!!

Been a long time. Nice comparison and I like the new logo 👍

My cheap route was a Shogun roller and I put a Kaiju power system, 8bl150 4268 2200kv 6s 50+ mph all day!

Get the Kagama. It's far superior

💭🤔I would take everything that you say is good from the XTr and put it on the Kagama!..
Then I will compare the XTr to the Kronos (period.)🙏🏽

Hey thanks for these awsome videos! I was wondering if you knew if these wheels will fit the arrma kraton? Thanks again👍👍
they do! Sorry for the late response. Just saw one unanswered
excellent video!
I do like the wider stance on the third one more. Unless I'm just seeing things
Those are jetko tires and have an half inch offset so the stance is about 1 in wider. Good eye
Great video thank you
if i have the punisher with the tower to tower brace do you think its worth getting the kagama too?

Ah so when things break I can replace with kagama parts? Excellent to hear thanks for the reply

I would assume that the “flaps” on the sides of the chassis are for a possible protective dust cover. Jm2c
Good Stuff!!
pretty sure new 6s models come with tower to tower and steering blocks since 2022

I heard that team corally was going to discontinue the kronos.the kagama is supposed to be the replacement

It is too difficult to adjust the servo saver
