You, sir, are a born teacher, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. I have watched many of your instructional topics, some three or more times. Not because you weren't providing comprehensive instructions, but because you provided so much information in an orderly way that I felt the need to take notes. Now, part of my need to replay your videos is because I have acquired Lyme disease which due to Dr.s not knowing the depth of the infection or how the infection works. It took over 6 months to be diagnosed. Beforehand, I taught myself programming because as a technical and conceptual illustrator, I had hit a salary ceiling and needed to move on. At any rate, I know an excellent instructor when I see one and I thank you very much for your videos. You don't go over and over simple basics and throughout your videos you show a respect for your audience's intelligence, which these days is a rare thing.

Thanks so much for this 3 series videos. I loved and learned so much from your videos. I played them while standing next to my lathe and figuring out things. By far the best tutorial for beginners and trust me I watched a bunch of them. Thanks so so much !!!!

I know this is an old video but you mention your website for tools but the only website I've see is your Drill a Well site. Do you have a different one for the tools? Thanks.

I started by googling images of chess sets. There are some that show just the pieces, in profile. Then scale them to the desired size - you can do literally any size, though typically competitions sets scale the king at 3-3/4" high I believe, and scale the rest to match. Then print them out, fold then down the center line of each piece, and that's your pattern.
