I've watched TW and his family hunt, trap and fish for many years and have loved every minute of it. These videos are so much fun to watch because they're "if these walls could talk" moments we all get to listen to. Thank you so much for sharing these stories. God bless the Wells family and thanks for the memories.
More Mr. Wells please!! We need all the stories that he wants to tell, and where he stands of views and policies, woodsmen & conservationists need to hear and learn what others of their kind have to say, its how we grow!
I freaking love that relationship that you two have, it reminds me of my father and I. I wish I had it all on tape like you do. Nothing better. Thanks for sharing.
This is the best podcast in history. We love Tim! Greatest hunter of all time. I can listen to him talk 24/7. I got into instinctive shooting because of Tim. Best thing I have ever done. Animals don't stand a chance now.+
Thank you Sydney for interviewing your father the slot Master Tim Wells I would listen to The Man all day long I have been watching Tim for years and years the first video I bought was on VHS Relentless Pursuit the man is a wealth of knowledge and I believe the best shot out there thank you for showing us a little bit of your life schlock master
Sydnie you and your dad are exactly alike and your mom isn't no slouch niether i love watching your families hunting video's keep them coming. Good luck to the Wells family this year.
Awesome best thing I've watched in years. Great job Awesome to see you and your dad interact and make sense and I can relate to you and keeping hunting alive for my kids and future generations
Good stuff! My daughter and I have a similar competitive relationship, hunting and fishing. I'm old school and she's Syds age. Enjoyed your insights on the wolves. Happy hunting ya'll!
I live in Kentucky that would be awesome if y’all could come down and hunt I love y’all’s videos I’ve watched tim for many years and he has really inspired me the wells family is awesome
Love from Millstadt. Real Illinois people. This is your most rockin' podcast yet. 😅 $1000 Amish rocking chairs. Us upper middle class folks here in Illinois outside the city buy some crazy stuff. God bless smokin hot Mrs Schlockmaster and her rocking taste. Tim was rocking his ass off.
Good podcast. Love watching y'all. Man bows have come a long way. I started out in the late 1960s with a Shakespeare fiberglass bow. Later I graduated to a browning "Bush bow" and eventually picked up a second hand Hoyt compound. I shot instinctively until I acquired the compound. Something about the "break" when the cams turned over and being able to hold the draw messed up my instinctive shooting. Maybe had I kept trying with the compound I could have gotten back to instinctive, but I opted for pins. I never competed but I was at a competition at Clemson and Fred Bear was there. He said if compounds had been around in his early years he would never have been noticed at an archer. I disagreed because it wasn't just Fred's shooting, it was his humble personality and his willingness to go the extra mile for his game. Fred was also a master woodsman.
I love those rocking chairs at least you know they’re not made in China! Tim and Syd’s stories are the best! They are definitely one of a kind family! Mikey is a big buck slockin legend! It looks like you’ll be seeing me during Halloween now!!! God bless y’all and keep the awesome videos coming!
Ironic that I use to watch yall so much & I got away from it because I love watching the public land guys, because I can just relate to them so much more, but if you love hunting & archery, you love Tim Wells. I just started watching some old videos yesterday.,I’m still blown away at how good of an archer he is!!!!! Love what he & his family stands for!!! I was wondering does Sydnie still pull 70#’s? She did with that PSE from what I remember. Tha t smooth evolve cam……..my first bow was pse fire flight with over draw….. I definitely don’t like new sights like the garmin. I’ve never owned a range finder nor lighted knocks!!!! I love the Wells Family. Tim is my kind of guy!!!!!!!!!
Great podcast! I grew up hunting public land and that's where I spend most of my time. It's like anything else. .. U just know where to find the mature bucks. I guess I take it for granted. There's no easy button. It's just paying attention and reading sign.
Tim is right about October 31! Big boy showed up 15 minutes before dark under my tree stand last season while I was out trick or treating with the kids
Old man told me once to buy land because they aren't making it anymore. I am 70 and have killed a few in my time but like you I get a bigger kick out of seeing a young excited kid kill a nice deer. In our camp there is a youngster that thinks I am Daniel Boone. He always makes a bee line to my place to quiz me about what and where I have seen nice deer. Last year he finally got a nice one. I was thrilled. I enjoyed this video because it allowed me to see the man you are and not just the hunter.
Tim is hilarious! Squirrel pancake! Hold on Trump I am in a meeting. lol omg... Watching the hummingbird in reflection is cool! Instinctive shooting... Did Jay Gregory? Have sights on his golf club. lol Maybe not out yet but that stealth 360 camera I cant find! Great show! Both of you are awesome! :D
hi guys, just happened on u’r channel, and found a like soul. I’m over 60 yo as well, Tim. I live in N.E. AL, in the rolling foothills of the Appalachians. back in the late ‘70’s, early 80’s, we had a whole bunch of knuckle-heads, decided to do conservancy work here too. they brought in coyotes, 16 or., and released them in a tri-county area. we were just beginning to recover our quail and turkey pop.‘s, after the disaster called ‘cotton, or boll weevil poison’ - ‘DT.’. rabbit, ‘cane cutters, or swamp rabbit especially, were on the comeback too. WT-Deer had totally repopulated. all of the above, had all but been wiped out, between over-hunting from the late’20’s - ‘40, depression hit devastatingly hard here, and everyone ate what they could get. my grandmothers both tell stories of wading the creeks and rivers, poking their hands into holes in the clay-banks to catch catfish, (they call it noodling out West! my folks just called it hand-fishing; they were too poor to be able to afford a spinner and pole). anyhow, back to the coyotes reason I started this. I called a husband & wife game warden team I know, locals, and asked abt. the re-intro of coyotes in my / our area, and they immediately confirmed it. I asked them if they realized what a bad move this was, how it would totally disrupt wild game, not to speak of the small pet population; and yes, they affirmed. even said that when they discovered it, over a year before the plan was executed, they both wrote letters to all three co. commissions, local mayors, and the Gov. of AL. all went un-answered. I also wrote the Gov., expressing almost identical concerns that u stressed, regarding re-intro of the wolves to the lower 48. I got a nice reply letter, thanking me for my concerns, and that it would be passed along to the appropriate authorities for review. ultimately, it was all for naught - the coyotes were released. I believe that was in ‘82, or ‘83. within ten years, the quail, turkey and rabbit, as well as some types of squirrels - were reduced to remnant populations. the last quail hunt I went on, we jumped one bob white, and later, two hens. today, our deer pop.’s are beginning to be impacted, as well as some local cattle farmers, and dairy herds have suffered the loss of some calves that were dropped while on pasture - a big hit for the small farmers they are. I agree with everything u stated; appoint a true “Conservationist,” (and not a 22 - 24 yo fresh out of college book-learned type either, u know what I mean, right? everyone, all around this tri-co area is constantly “watching” for coyotes, and it’s a year round, shoot on site watch, u’d better believe it. this season, I’ve yet to see a coyote in the fields, nor in the woods. I hope we’re making a dent in the pop., but, as a realist, I know it’s a false hope. there’s no way to put that jeannie back in the proverbial lamp, all thanks to our “all-knowing” state wildlife agency. so, I get it, sir. we here, we get it better than most, cause we’ve lived it. great show @Tim, and daughter! that one section on conservancy made it a powerful show in and of itself! 😊
I’m a old school hunter I’m 35 grew up with people like your dad you should get him on here talking this old school stuff more often was really cool I’m in east ky big mountain tuff bow hunting u all can come hunt some if u can hang😉
Great video- I’m the same age as Tim,& love hunting. He applies Common Sense to game conservation! Too bad our politicians & the “animal lovers “ use common sense! They will love them to the point of a few in zoos & preserves!
Tim Wells definitely awesome Hunter great Archer he is a straight Slayer with a bow in his hands but it seems like lately he does more videos of sitting over a huge pile up in a tree waiting to spear something i just think hes way better then that is like to see more videos of him soot and stalking or more bow hunting deer footage looking for big Louie lol I'm sure there's not many hunters who have taken a wolf with a bow especially on a video he's the only one I've ever seen have footage of taking a wolf with a bow and arrow after sitting up in a tree stand for 12 plus hours or whatever that's what's up I always like to watch with the slockmaster and his brother buck and him together is reafun to watch!!
I firmly Beleive In the oldschool way. I grew up with the recurve, the first compound and climbing trees and sitting on limbs and homemade ground blinds. I've put in thousands of hours. I've lived a great life. It realy makes me laugh when i hear these social media kids when they talk about these fancy bows and broadheads and$500.00 lock on stands and $500 worth of sticks to climb the tree. It's kind of sad actuly. Because the upcoming youth think you have to have that stuff to hunt. I had mix match camo aluminum arrows with 6" veins and 1 brass pin when i really got good. It made you learn how to hunt. Not these days. It's all about money and private. And people everywhere.
Wow I sure would like to hang out with your dad and have a conversation take in some of his knowledge. I make my own darts out of metal coat hangers I think he would like them.
Jason from arkansas. We Welcome you Tim. Come on down here and spear one. We actuly have some good bucks if your in the right part of the state. Good luck guys.
03:14 Fake news. The Legend has never failed to acquire his game! Nooooooo! 😂😂. Man what I wouldn't give to sit on that porch for an evening. Fun podcast!
people forget that we are also part of nature, so when they say let nature take care of itself it means we somehow also part of preserving nature\wildlife ,maybe by hunters also .
Does the slockmaster look down the arrow to aim or does he just look at the animal and instinctively aim? I’m really interested in learning instinctively shooting
Tim is already on my Mount Rushmore of great hunters. He is truly one of the greatest. Great to see Sydnie following in his footsteps.
Do a 10 part series with Mr Tim!!! We NEED more with the legend. I could listen all day long
I've watched TW and his family hunt, trap and fish for many years and have loved every minute of it. great show @Tim, and daughter! that one section on conservancy made it a powerful show in and of itself! 😊
Excellent, lotta knowledge being spit there. Well said Mr. Wells. I did have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fitzgerald back in the early 90’s.
We need a video of Tim telling us all his wildest hunting experiences, especially the ones he didn't get on video
Dave hit another home run with this gal!
Tim- did you ever get your gear from Herters? What a place as a kid!
I’m a old school hunter I’m 35 grew up with people like your dad you should get him on here talking this old school stuff more often was really cool I’m in east ky big mountain tuff bow hunting u all can come hunt some if u can hang😉
Saw 2 wolves 2 days ago on stand in west central Wisconsin. Every year there are more.
Nice job Syd
Great video- I’m the same age as Tim,& love hunting. He applies Common Sense to game conservation! Too bad our politicians & the “animal lovers “ use common sense! They will love them to the point of a few in zoos & preserves!
I live in the PNW. Your wolf perspective is spot on. It has gotten really bad up here.
Thanks
Tim Wells definitely awesome Hunter great Archer he is a straight Slayer with a bow in his hands but it seems like lately he does more videos of sitting over a huge pile up in a tree waiting to spear something i just think hes way better then that is like to see more videos of him soot and stalking or more bow hunting deer footage looking for big Louie lol I'm sure there's not many hunters who have taken a wolf with a bow especially on a video he's the only one I've ever seen have footage of taking a wolf with a bow and arrow after sitting up in a tree stand for 12 plus hours or whatever that's what's up I always like to watch with the slockmaster and his brother buck and him together is reafun to watch!!

damn Syds beautiful !!!!!!!!!
Wow I sure would like to hang out with your dad and have a conversation take in some of his knowledge. I make my own darts out of metal coat hangers I think he would like them.
Serious question: What would be the "hole in one" hunting accomplishment according to you and also your dad?
Jason from arkansas. We Welcome you Tim. Come on down here and spear one. We actuly have some good bucks if your in the right part of the state. Good luck guys.
03:14 Fake news. The Legend has never failed to acquire his game! Nooooooo! 😂😂. Man what I wouldn't give to sit on that porch for an evening. Fun podcast!
Tim, looking pretty healthy, must be all that wild meat you've been eaten. Much better then farm raised.
🐐
The fact that your dad talks about jake paul cracks me up
people forget that we are also part of nature, so when they say let nature take care of itself it means we somehow also part of preserving nature\wildlife ,maybe by hunters also .
I agree 100% on the wolves i get laid off in the winter and hunt them almost every day
Does the slockmaster look down the arrow to aim or does he just look at the animal and instinctively aim? I’m really interested in learning instinctively shooting
I get the distinct feeling hunters will explain it to the wolves.
They let them go to take our hunting rights away , good for you Tim Wells .
Your dad is bad ass
I want both tim & sydnie on jre
When can I go hunt with your dad
