Love how he starts out in all white after being baptized, then as the scene goes backward to tell how he came to be there, he's in black the whole time, as if the baptism really did cleanse him. Going backward, it's like he made a choice to put on black clothes, but realizing the video's going backward, he makes the choice to put on white clothes and be cleansed. It's unfortunate that white/black is synonymous with good/evil (that shit has always been problematic), but they use it to good effect here as a visual storytelling element for a man trying to grapple with what he's done and what he wants. The song itself really flows, but the video is what grabbed me. It's really well done.
