Also; obligatory request: Alabama Shakes - "Hold on", or alternatively they have a fairly decent ballad with nice guitar and slower tempo called "Gemini"; and finally "Gimmie all your love". You should watch a video of the band; the woman singing plays the guitar incredibly well and she's go great vocal technique. Not metal or anything like that, but not country. More of a indie rock (one of their songs is in an Apple commercial so...) Whether you give the tracks a listen on video or not at all is fine; just wanted to try and get your opinion on the band is all. Have a good one guys! Not only does the Lost in Vegas crew give us insights into different music, they do the same with cultures as well. I admit that I know very little about hip hop, and my knowledge has increased hugely thanks to Ryan and George. I think it is important to know where music comes from, and this channel is excellent at providing that background. From both Ryan and George and the listeners. Another thing that is great about this channel is the thought that is put into their critiques. The comments George made about the nature of mumble rappers and the effect of what those rappers are saying is insightful and encouraging. We need voices like this, in all genres of music. Ok 50th try! ( yes it really is! ) pls do Fbla II by Helmet, 1992 Meantime album. It has the groove, amazing guitars and one of the best drummers of all time.The whole album is playlist material and solid start to finish! Nodody trully matched their sound, they were ahead of their time, they influenced a lot of bands including deftones wich you allready like. I bet you will want to hear more from them for sure! Dont make me go to 100! Love you guys so ill keep on trying! Keep up good work :-)
More info : while they are a hardcore/ alternative metal however ppl want to.label them, what makes them unique is that their singer/ lead guitarist / founder Page Hamilton actually was a jazz guitarist, thsts how he learn. Then he carried some of it to helmet sound. If you hear various songs you can tell the influence. All the other members are great technicians especially Stanier the drumer. If you ask any die hard well versed metal head : hey give me something like early helmet records, they wil all say that theres really nothing exact like them. So i hope you give a chance and learn some of their songs, msinly from the first 3 albums.Ty

Ok 50th try! ( yes it really is! ) pls do Fbla II by Helmet, 1992 Meantime album. It has the groove, amazing guitars and one of the best drummers of all time.The whole album is playlist material and solid start to finish! Nodody trully matched their sound, they were ahead of their time, they influenced a lot of bands including deftones wich you allready like. I bet you will want to hear more from them for sure! Dont make me go to 100! Love you guys so ill keep on trying! Keep up good work :-)
More info : while they are a hardcore/ alternative metal however ppl want to.label them, what makes them unique is that their singer/ lead guitarist / founder Page Hamilton actually was a jazz guitarist, thsts how he learn. Then he carried some of it to helmet sound. If you hear various songs you can tell the influence. All the other members are great technicians especially Stanier the drumer. If you ask any die hard well versed metal head : hey give me something like early helmet records, they wil all say that theres really nothing exact like them. So i hope you give a chance and learn some of their songs, msinly from the first 3 albums.Ty
