To tell you the truth, I kind of have mixed emotions about shipping Ratchet and Talwyn. Like, on one hand, I do think they make a pretty cute couple, and when Talwyn told Ratchet that he and Clank were all she had left after losing Cronk and Zephyr, that made me not want Ratchet to leave her. But on the other hand, after seeing Rivet from “Rift Apart”, I kind of started shipping her with Ratchet for a while. I know, most fans of the franchise probably don’t see that happening, but I’m not one of them. But like I said, I have mixed emotions.

It’s mainly just a bunch of newer fans coming in with Rift Apart or the reboot, they don’t have the years of lore or context behind anything. Surely Insomniac won’t cave in and treat Rift Apart as ANOTHER new starting point, which thankfully doesn’t seem to be the case after beating it.
