Have just taken delivery of Dove Grey, 1.5 Petrol in the UK. My husband is 82 and needs me to sort it all out before we go out for longer journeys 😂! Our last VW was a Passat Estate and this is VERY different. I’m quite tech savvy but taking it slowly setting up the Infotainment system. This video was extremely useful for me! Thanks for this review, and thanks also for doing it in English! It is a more comprehensive review than any other I have seen online. Your review explains the new digital displays far more thoroughly than other reviews and I found that particularly helpful as there is a lot to be learnt there!
We have ordered a Golf 8 Style 1.5 Petrol 1.3PS, all as standard except for the addition of a spare wheel - those spray-repair things can result in punctured tyres becoming irreparable!

Lwys Davies I’m thinking of ordering the Golf Style but 1.5 e-TSI 150ps DSG but I just want to know, have you actually seen the Golf 8 in Moonstone Grey and if yes does it look completely sick?
@@antonthompson7838 I saw it, it looks awesome, but example that I saw was with Life package so 16'' wheels and they don't look good with his color, but with 18'' inch like the ones on this car in video would look awesome.
There is a chance that there will be moonstone grey Golf on the channel if it's still available as a press car...
Will Thompson Yeah I’ve seen the moonstone grey colour in person it’s very similar to a nardo grey Audi.Really nice colour but the premium alloys are a must with it!

meni iskreno jako cool i upadljiva boja, ali osobno bi mi dosadila nakon god-dvije, pa bi išao na neku "sigurniju" varijantu, crna, siva, a ima i dosta lijepa tamno plava

Dizajn zreo za facelift isti tren - nema auspuha, nema hidrauliku, nema gumba u interijeru, štedilo se na svakom centimetru, nema tapicirunga u pretincima, sve u svemu jadno za auto koji se prije zvao kralj klase, a cijena nikad veća... :(
I don't like it. The Golf 7 is much better looking. Volkswagen ruined the Golf. They cut a lot of corners to cheapen it.
I disagree. I had Golf 7 and I got my new Golf 8 3 weeks ago. Golf 7 was a nice looking car, but Golf 8 looks even better :-). They took some thing away, but added some really nice and practical ones instead :-)

@@mathias61 ...I'll still keep my MK7. What part of the MK8 is ugly???.....The whole thing. They cheaped out and cut corners to save a few dollars. Not a fan at all.
@@unive184 I can´t agree you. In some things some cost savings, but Golf 8 has some really nice things, which are very handy and useful and which you don´t have in Golf 7 at all. Plusses are bigger than minuses. The car looks great to me. OK, you have your opinion, but I have experience about both cars and I make my decision based on that fact ;-)
