    I was waiting for this! I saw when it happened on stream and I was so happy because I think you and BSJ have the same kind of overanalyzing mind when it comes to the game. A natural fit in my opinion. I know BSJ gets memed on but I think he is one of the best coaches in the scene when it comes to conveying information even if he gets a little longwinded sometimes, I love his style.

      The reason he gets memed on is lingering negative opinion from WAAAY back when he was really toxic. But now he’s a super valuable member of the community and a strong coach, very PMA now too overall.

      @@rogerzhang5993 Another way of saying this. BSJ has a great attitude and he's fun to roast. Especially because you can see the regular gamer toxic ego voice try and slip through sometimes and he has a good sense of humour about it.

    Very insightful discussion. One of the best ways to learn more about this game is to listen to two smart players (one with a vast amount of experience and one without) bounce questions and thoughts off each other and uncovering the most efficient and practical ways to conceptualize the game and how to improve.

    I love Bsj's style of coaching. Not just because i play mainly offlane, just as he does, but also because of his overall insight on the game. Further his voice, his style of explanation, his calmness etc are really chill. Would love to get a coaching session with him too sometime. Especially since o dropped from Legend3 to Archon1😢 😢😢

    Hello I really find useful BSJ as coaching pos 1. He is a good coach!
    Grubby would you like to make a session that is focused more on drafting phase for a carry. For example I am not high MMR player, but when I saw enemy draft I concluded you are going to have tough time with sniper, simply because they have heroes ,that can close the gap against you.
    BSJ said he wouldnt pick sniper for a different reason, which surprised me, because it is not a good pair with AP, but later you both concluded you cannot ask too much from your teammates, doesn't this mean that number one priority when picking pos 1 is something, that will scale good against enemy picks? But how do you consider what will scale good and what is the best option?

    • @jonw1958
      @jonw1958 2 года назад +1

      He said the lane matchup is just one of the things he considers shen picking a pos 1, not the only deciding factor.

    GOOD QUESTIONS FROM GRUBBY. makes me think if am really thinking when playing. there are things I just do reflexively, I think that is due to my 12 years experience in dota 2 but yah. I like this

  • @speedfreakpsycho

    time and time again I see Grubby asking questions and expecting the ultimate answer that works in all situations. The more you play the more you will understand that if you have the 300 games with the exact same lineup recreating the exact same scenario, it would end up being different most of the time. Due to player skill, support effectiveness, objective understanding, positioning etc..
    There are many different support players..sniper is a squishy hero, and when i see sniper I can solo it with support if he has no bkb.. aI have 15000 hours in dota and I just learned that he is food. But in general, dota is, experience, team coordination and then most importantly ridding the high wave and snowballing. Once you are at the top in a game you have to use it wisely..otherwise, the enemy will catch up. .Respect the timings,, always.. 70% skill player will beat 100% skill player if he hit his timings,, and the better player falls off.
    I see it over and over, cause players overextending already won the game and thus lost. For the contest, I play a lot of Earth spirit, and I have 4k games on him. I play very aggressively and I create a lot of space early game to the point that carries get too confident that we goona win. THen when its time to end, they don't do it...and we lose the game cause ES falls of late game,
