Good morning everyone:) So as the title would suggest today's video is an in-depth Sezane review of everything you need to know about their coats and Jackets! Has anyone got one that I have? I've been building this collection over the last couple of years and I think proof is in the pudding as you've seen how much I wear their pieces! I'd love to hear your favourite coat or jacket? Have you got one of these on your wishlist? Big hugs ladies, looking forward to chatting with you all:)
I've filmed a knitwear one already actually, I've added the link to that in the description box:) Glad to hear you found this video helpful, I shall add shirts and blouses to the list! x
You have quite a lovely collection of coats. Would love to see a video on Sezane jumpers and cardigans. You look marvelous in the jeans you are wearing. Thanks for your styling inspiration.
Hi Nikki, I've shared the knitwear edition the other week actually, the link to that video is in the description box here:) I do feel very lucky to have such a gorgeous collection of coats from Sezane, very much a perk of this job! Have a wonderful start to the week lovely and thanks so much for watching:) x
Thank you for this excellent review, Jess. I would be very interested to see more Sézane reviews on shirts/blouses and any other items that you be able to review.
Thank you so much Kathik that's really kind. I shall make sure I keep filming these then if everyone is finding them helpful:) Have a wonderful start to the week x
Quite the collection there! I also have the James coat in the navy and absolutely love it! It adds a touch of sophistication to everyday outfits. Definitely a winner!
That was lovely thank you. I've never bought anything from Sezane, but thanks to you, the next time I'm in London, I'll pop into their shop. You suit their clothes well. Yes please to similar Sezane videos!
Your reviews and style guides are always so, so helpful, Jess. Thank you so much for the amount of effort, time and research you clearly put into them. ❤It doesn't go unnoticed. This was definitely the guide I needed as I am in the market for a new winter coat but it can be so hard to know how they feel and fit when ordering online. Fabric composition is also a major factor in my decisions so I always really appreciate you giving information on this and comparing how the fabrics feel. Fellow itchy person here! 🙋♀ You asked if other reviews and guides similar to this one would be helpful and my answer is 100% yes, yes, and yes! In particular, I would love to see a guide on Sezane's trouser offerings as I really struggle with these. There are so many Sezane style guides and reviews out there now but I secretly (or now publicly!) look forward to yours the most as your style and preferences really align with my own, as well as us being a similar height, body type, age etc...just I'm not quite as stylish as you, of course 😉 x x x
Hi Jess, thank you very much for your informative video! My absolute favourite is the Christie in camel, which I bought because of the georgeous look it has on you. Could you please make a video on Sezane skirts? I‘ m thinking about investing in a midi skirt from them. Have a nice sunday, greetings from Austria Karin
Thank you for this video! I would love your assessment of blouses and jewelry! I am a regular Sézane buyer - got the Mederick coat in camel and it’s gorgeous. I buy their sweaters all the time as they are absolutely gorgeous. Not keen on animal print myself - really not my cup of tea. The blazers are lovely but I need to be aware as I am petite. Always lovely to wake up on Sunday to one of your videos
Morning Jess, hope you’re well? You have such a lovely collection. I love the ecru coat with the belt. Style like this has been on my wish list forever 😂 Yes please for reviews of other Sezane pieces. I think that would be great. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead. Take care and sending hugs as always x
Dear Jess! Thank you for this informative video. I was wondering if you could show sometimes how the pieces look like when they are buttoned up or otherwise closed, since it can be quite hard to tell when the coats are presented open. At least here in the north where I live, I always have to wear my coats done up (with scarfs, hats, gloves and sometimes even with an extra hoodie) to keep me warm. You work is much appreciated ❤️
Morning lovely, aah yes that would have been good wouldn't it:/! Sorry Elinara, I have a bit of a checklist in my mind when making my videos of all the things I'm meant to remember and inevitably there's always something I forget! I shall write this down for next time:))
Great video!! I love Sézane coats! In fact the James is also now available on a gorgeous green khaki, which I bought and had plenty of compliments on! They used to do it in green khaki before but with covered buttoned where as the new one is with normal uncovered buttons, which I prefer 😊
As always, thank you for your style tips! I've taken your style tips while shopping at thrift stores where I've found most of my gorgeous coats and blazers. You will be surprised the level of quality items you can find for a fraction of the price while staying as eco-friendly as possible. :)
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Jess, you are wearing my favorite blouse you have from Sézane. 😍. Beautiful trench coats, I love the Clyde❤. Ooo, the car coat and the shearling 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Okay, I am in love with the wool coat. If I did not already own a cashmere/wool full length coat, I would purchase this one. I too sized up and am pleased I did. I’m planning on purchasing a biker jacket and will size up 😀. Yes, please do a summer jacket video 👏🏽. Fantastic video, thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Yay! Isn't it a beaut, and of course you know I just adore that colour:) So glad you like the wool Winter coats I chose, so practical but with that little French twist they feel just that little bit different! Do take a look at Sezane's biker jackets and All saints too as they have a huge collection. I think it's such a personal choice on those types of jackets but there's some fab ones out there:) Happy Sunday lovely, big hugs, Jess:)
Thank you for this very timely coat/jacket review. I am absolutely craving for the Mederic coat in the beautiful light pink. I have never had a light toned winter coat but would love to try it. I also have the Jack coat on my wish list in the light gray. Hmmm❤
Hey Jess, fab video and really useful tips on sizing. I have the Johnson coat in 3 colours as I like more formal coats in winter to match my wardrobe and I have the Will in 3 colours, including the shearling one in navy and I love them all! ❤❤Happy Sunday x Not keen on the leopard print but it’s a personal choice hey and looks fab on you xx
Love, love, love ❤ All beautiful pieces of Sézane ❤ I love my Scott, Clyde trenchcoat, my new navy Clyde for winter and my suede Will Jacket and offcourse the Christie jacket in Spring and Summer. Love them all ❤
Hi Jess, lovely video as always. I've often wondered what happens if you tie the belt on a thick wool coat, does it crease the clothes you are wearing underneath? Happy Sunday ❤
Good-morning, Jess. Beautiful video, as usual. I would love a video on Sezane dresses. I have loved Sezane for years and years because they are very feminine and slightly quirky - something I could use to describe myself as well. 😂 However, I don’t believe I have any of their coats because they are so, so masculine for me. At 1.55 m (5’1”), with an hourglass shape and a bust and matching hips of 96.5 cm, finding clothes that fit are quite the challenge. Oversized is out; fluffy sweaters are out 😢; masculine shapes are out (now that I think of it, I don’t want to relive the 1980s)😂. It’s great for the budget though! Have a great week!
Gorgeous selection Jess, would love the Will in Khaki suade, i have it in Cotton and love it. I have just purchased the Hollie jumper in Folliage, awaiting it's arrival! I love my Marc Sea Green wool coat but finding the colour a bit odd to match so I added a Trudy in the same colour.....and so it goes on and on 😂 Sezane are lethal to the purse!!!
The Clyde coat works bettr for ladies with larger chest sizes as opposed to the traditional trench, especially when buttoned up during wind or rain. I have the Will Jacket in cream and I am looking to get another in Olive or Denim:) I love the Will jacket! More Sezane please:)
Hi Jess, really appreciate your videos & tips; could you review other pieces from Sezané? Also could you advise on length & fit? I'm tall so it would really help. Thanks in advance & looking forward to seeing more of your videos
I have the Christie blazer in size 36 in black, thinking it was my right size. I was wrong but I kept it anyway, and I waited too long to return it. I'm petite so I like the style. I have the Will jacket in denim, small which I love, this one too I should of sized up to a medium, but small still works for me. I have the Scott trench in camel size 38, bingo!!. I love that one also. So I will end with I have sweaters from Sezane I still love to wear. The sizing has always been a problem for me in Sezane. The size chart only helps a little. So thanks for this helpful video. Yes to a knit and cardigan review.
Hi Jess, I love Sezané & the french aesthetic. I would you to do a review if Blouses & Shirts as well as Knitwear. I'm tall & haven't had chance to go to the Notting Hill store yet for a good try on. There are details on the website, but as you know, the fit can vary! Thanks for your tips re curating a wardrobe that works for the actual lifestyle you lead. Au revoir for now
Hello Jess, Thank you for the review. I also have a Navy James, and I love it, too. Would you have a recommendation for a coat for an hourglass petite (157cm)? Thank you!
Goodmorning Jess, very informative video👌🏻Are the trench coats and parka’s water resistent? Years ago I bought a parka similar to Hugo from another brand and it’s not water resistent, so that kind of defeats the purpose of a parka or trench coat, doesn’t it🤷♀️ 🫶🏻
I am still torn between all the different blazers and the blazer coat (James). I like wool for most of my investment pieces with the odd exception (cotton for trenches etc), so the poly mix sezane favores bothers me quite a lot. This is going to be helpful, the clothes worn look much different than they do on their website.
Wrap London (or its sister company Poetry, I tend to mix up their pieces in my mind as I shop both), has a beautiful khaki-green shearling long jacket/short coat. It’s on my wish list. The darker khaki-green color is one I love and wear a lot, and is more practical, as it doesn’t show spots or grime as easily. As much as I love ivory/cream natural shearling, a single greasy food, beverage or cosmetic stain can ruin it for me. If you get one, take it to a leather-specialist dry cleaner within a day, they can perform near-miracles, but not if the stain sets. (No brand affiliation).
Lovely selection, some great pieces here. I invested in the Marly leather jacket from them this season, it's a beautiful caramel colour and pairs brilliantly with burgundy. I also have a denim jacket similar to the Will (I think it's called the Wilfreda), better for us petites. They haven't done it for a while, though, which is a shame! Pet peeve coming up! (Sorry, not sorry) The Clyde is a car coat, not a trench coat! That being said, both are classic and have longevity!
Ooh good choice Karen, it's a beautiful coat! Colour wise that would really depend on the other pieces you have in your wardrobe? Or your most worn daily outfits really as it's a great everyday coat. For me personally I love the ecru but if you need something darker I would go for the khaki over the black as that feels a little softer to go with all my neutral outfits. Hope that helps lovely! x
Thank for your style tips. I love the James coat. Btw I also love the olive coloured bag which you previously featured in previous videos. Could you please remind me or send me the link? Thank you
I do like a few sezane pieces but tend to find it’s for taller people (trousers, longer dresses and coats). Petites will find it a bit hit and miss on some things. Shorter skirts and shorts are fine and also jumper/cardigans.
Thank you for the review! I must know, am I the only one who could the Medrik itchy? I had to return it because it, I bought the powder pink one and I really wanted to take it off me the second I put it one. I was really disappointed because I love the shape of it.
Great informative video! I am interested in the JAMES COAT, although I am wondering why the buttons are set so low -hips and below🧐 When it’s cold and windy I need some good protection at the upper body… 🥶 Anyone has a review to share about this?
@@eve_in_paris hey, I have 3 James coats and I love them. I find them fine for the weather we are having currently and keep me warm. If it’s a bit colder then a lovely chunky scarf also looks good with them. X

I've filmed a knitwear one already actually, I've added the link to that in the description box:) Glad to hear you found this video helpful, I shall add shirts and blouses to the list! x

When I googled Sezane the Christie it said it was polyester! I don’t understand?? You look soo good in that one! No wonder you have several!

Bombay leather company do the exact same camel suede jacket for substantially less . Got one and v v pleased.
Wear did you get the boots?
And could you please share information regarding sizing in Calixte shearling coat? And do you tend to wear it open or zipped? Thank you’
