      Coroners report showed injuries much more severe than what an avalanche could do (supposedly, can never say it couldn't happen), they were all expert mountaineering students and they camped on a slope less than 30* to avoid avalanche territory. If I had to guess, they were affected by some variable that is not explainable without further information. With the amount of nuclear and general weapons testing during that period of time; one can only speculate that they witnessed something they weren't suppose to , and were eliminated to keep it on the hush hush, or they suffered from the side affects of a weapon test and all hell broke loose.

    • @SeedlingNL
      @SeedlingNL 22 дня назад

      @@ryan911 That's (mis)information from the older investigation.
      A more recent investigation found that they camped higher up the slope than first assumed, and cut a section out of the snow to protect the tent from the strong blizzard winds (which is normally the right thing to do.. on a less steep slope...) However, the added snow from the blizzard caused the side to collapse resulting in several of the crushing injuries. It also blocked the exit of the tent, and fearing another avalanche, they cut themselves out of the tent and fled downhill to a group of trees. From there, they tried to keep warm, but the blizzard made it impossible. Two of them died of hypothermia, another three tried to get back up the hill to the tent to retrieve their winter gear but perished in the blizzard. The last 4 went downhill and build a snow shelter, using the clothes from the 2 that died earlier in an attempt to keep warm. Unfortunately, they build it above a frozen river that still flowed under the ice, and the ice collapsed, crushing them under tons of snow while also either drowning or freezing to death in the river. They would eventually wash downstream where animals would nibble on their exposed flesh...
      The radiation on the clothing is also understood as coming from two of the members. One of them worked on a cleanup of a big radiation spill, the other lived in the area when the spill happened. The authorities never told the people what had happened, for obvious reasons...

      @90bubbel60 Thank you. With that my friend, thank you so much. I know there was another true story about some people got trapped in a plane on some mountain for months and they started to eat each other and 2 of them survived left over eaten people. And that's a true story, so I thought this was it, so it's Cancel that cancelation.

    Exactly happened at a time in history where ... going to certain places, at certain times ... as in the wrong place at the wrong time was really very dangerous. Missile tests, secret bases, nuclear tests maybe so top-secret that the files were burned after being read. I believe that what happened to Diatlov and friends was exactly this case. Then the authorities, having received orders from above, did the rest to cover up as quickly as possible and avoid further leaks. However, the story, told from person to person reached the present day. Only now can we have indications and see things for what they were.... In those very years, in those very vast expanses where normally there is not a soul were being tested and tried new technologies that were extremely secret. Other "movie" considerations... is a good piece of SCI-FI, but the reality is very different if viewed using the actual eyes and mind.

      Yea. And generic random Slavic names. Rustem Slobodan. Slobodan is a first name, rare even in Serbia (most known was the president that started all those wars), because some doctor literally invented it for his son in 1930s, its a verb meaning a free man. And Rustem is a Muslim name, so not even ONE person ever is called Rustem Slobodan, especially in Russia

    definitely don t know enough about this subject but what i do know is that hypothermia kinda make you feel very hot when it gets severe (when your nerves die out it feels like you are on fire) and that would explain why they where naked, and an avalanche seems to be the more likely outcome than some weirdo conclusions like "DA ALIEMZ DID EET!" or "DE FHACKING RUSSIANS!" which are a bit too popular on this subject.

    First! The mountain is not called: Mountain of the Dead but: Dead Mountain. That is an essential difference. You have to know the symbolism of the mountain. The indigenous people know the difference. That's why they wrote warning signs: "Don't go there!". What I saw here in the video: bullshit to the power of 10.
