@@wendellknight2072 Some people prefer a smaller everyday carry. Smaller blade usually means smaller handle, smaller overall footprint for the knife. The full size Seal XR isn't a very pocketable EDC for most people. Especially people with smaller hands.
@@ChaunceyDurant I agree, I think you could easily break glass with it, but I think SOG intended for this to be more of a striker you could use in a combat situation, if you needed to strike someone with the butt of your knife. Thanks for the comment!

Sweet piece 😊.

Хорошая китайская реплика!😮

That thing weighs more than my Leatherman i couldn't see carrying that kinda weight daily looks like a good fidget tool that's about it

Would be awesome with a DLC coated blade.
@@tomcat8983 Sure would!
@@productreviewsallday so the black blades have a Cerakote finish.
@@tomcat8983 The Blackout version is sweet looking!
Want to add, the SEAL XR has very impressive blade thickness and the detent is EXCELLENT. Forgot to mention in my review.
They need to make a 3.5-inch blade version
@@TeaDoubleE85 I'd buy it!
Why would you want a smaller blade on this knife?

@@productreviewsallday
Fair enough. I thought there was some technical reason for a smaller blade
