I own one love it! M-carbo spring kit made it even better especially in double action. I own many polymer pistols for carry but this metal gun seems to do everything a little better . Wife loves it too.
When I'm 21 in four months this will be my first pistol no doubt. I thought it was a 14 round mag like the P-01, but found out that it's a 16 round magazine by watching your video. Loving it even more now!
I picked one of these up (lightly) used and love it! The trigger is like you describe and I don't find it really feels like pulling 10 pounds on that first shot. The break on the single action is spot on where I want it - I wouldn't take another trigger setup personally. The prior owner apparently felt the same way about the grips and swapped them out; I agree with you on that as I use different grips as well. I really love the low profile slide because I have large hands and I've actually had my thumbs accidentally stop the slide action on other semi-auto pistols (yes, probably also a grip issue, your anatomy may vary). So the lower profile slide is a big plus for me. Accurate, reliable, looks cool, and a lot of fun to shoot! Now to save up for a suppressor and an rmr...
He's obviously been shooting too many striker-fired guns. A fucking DA trigger is SUPPOSED to be heavy because, in most SA/DA guns, it serves as a safety. And in fact most DA triggers are actually a few pounds heavier yet. Of course they can be too heavy for certain guns and make them terrible shooters. Case in point, years ago I had a Taurus 85 ultralite (.38spcl) that was SA/DA. I never bothered to measure it, and of course it could've been partly due to my inability to shoot revolvers well at the time, but shooting that damn DA I could barely keep all 5 on an 8.5x11" piece of paper@7yds. Conversely, I could easily achieve 1.5" groups or less@7yds w/all 5 shot in SA mode, shooting faster, and regardless of ammo I was running.
My P01 has the regular trigger shoe but i put a cajun short reset in it and now its a just so nice. The single action is just as smooth and predictable. These are probably my favorite platform, and they always go bang, like always..
Love the sights .. I think they are the best suppressor hight night sights I've ever used.. so bright I love them!! And and bloody accurate with this gun .. I am in love with mine
Hands down it's the favorite gun I own .. I'm so accurate with this gun .. one jagged hole up to 10yards .. I freaking love it.. and that poly coat is gorgeous!!
Nice Vid, thanks! I have one and my most favorite to shoot. Super comfortable, i personally really like the grip. Most accurate gun I own and I have some nice optiond.
For take down I made a Delrin thingamajigger, roughly 6" long, with one round end and the other like a standard screwdriver. I line up the marks and tightly grip the barrel end in my left hand and quickly pop the pin with a light hammer blow on the right and a lever move on the left. 👍
Your the first I’ve ever heard say they like the omega p-01 better then the standard. I haven’t yet got to try one but they do look sharp as heck. Urban grey is sexy👍🏻
I bought this firearm, and I love it. It is my first CZ. I only wish the slide was easier to grip/manipulate. Shoots great, however. I also have a suppressor for it, but if you don’t have one, the tall sights get in the way. All-in-all…great pistol.
Great review man. That's the one gun I regret selling years ago. But I've begun shopping for another soooo. Bubble burst The slide doesn't have a lower bore axis. It's the same size as any other. They raise the slide rail on the grip which in no way changes the height of the bore or the slide. The slide runs inside instead of the typical outside. It only appears to have a lower bore axis.
It's a DA/SA gun double action pulls always higher & at 10lbs that's actually on the light side mine is silky smooth. don't thread lock your barrel when it heats up & will come off just use a silicone o-ring & you also don't want to use a high temp thread locker that'll never release it either!! Next to the 1911 the Cz grip is the most copied grip & angle of all other guns made. If you have an issue with the contour of the grip your in the minority, get yourself a set of Vz's for sweaty hands there excellent & with many choice colors..
The white dot on the front of the sights is likely just the back of the tritium vial showing. It looks like the sights don't have enough metal to do a blind hole so they just did a through hole and stuck them in.
Just picked up a CZ P-01 Omega in all black, and I love it. Feels great in the hand, the grip contours fit my hand perfectly. Mine doesn't have the threaded barrel or awesome but crazy looking sights but it's still a sexy little bitch! Highly recommend CZ. Now for a 97 B with wood grips...
This is one of those pistols I personally see in a limbo status. It is a compact pistol, but has the threaded barrel hi-rise sights and extended mags. This also kind of takes it out of the carry status, as well as the weight of it. To me, I would put this in the same category as my P07 tactical, a fun range gun with cool looks. I would like to shoot one of these or the regular P01 someday to see what all the hype is about. CZ's do make some sweet shooters, but that said my next CZ will probably be a FDE P10C. UNLESS........ they listen to me and finally come out with a sub-compact, preferably a P10! Now that would just make my day right there. Another good review brother, looking forward to seeing what Glocks you got coming up. hehehe
Excellent points Fu! I agree, it is in a bit of a limbo state. That said, it's unusual and unique which is what drew me to it. I agree, the P-10 is amazing and a subcompact P-10 would be sweet! Thank you and always and cheers brother!
These are easy to carry? Keep in mind a lot of people ccw a full size Glock or revolver etc. 29oz is nothing with a good belt and holster. Most 1911s people carry weigh like 40ozs and that’s for 7+1 to 9+1.
Regarding removing your thread protector; for a few bucks you can go to McMaster-Carr or Grainger websites and do a search for Viton O-rings. It's a bit of a chore, but they are there to find. You just have to match up the inner diameter (I.D.) with the thread diameter, minus a little to help them grip a bit. Then they are just elastic enough to stay in place. The size I use for an FNX-45 are 12mm ID and 1.5mm thick (in cross section). The Viton absolutely isn't bothered by solvents, petroleum products or synthetic lubricants, and tolerates temperatures from 0 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. (Silicone can stand somewhat lower temperatures but can't stand up to all synthetic lubes.) When snugged down tight, they help keep the cover from walking off the barrel (though it's still a good idea to give it a quick turn to tighten occasionally).
You can get a pack of #83 O rings from any home improvement store for a couple dollars and if you put it in the space where the hammer falls, you can dry fire the gun as much as you want without using snap caps.
I have an earlier version in the safety only model (P-02) and in fact, just happened to have it out to the range yesterday and in CCW rotation today. From the get go, it's been an incredibly sweet shooter. DA feels less than 10# to me and SA needs only a breath! Honestly, a regular aspect of my training on this pistol is the very light 2d shot. The size and weight are perfect for concealed carry. As for grips, I popped on a pair of VZ's that look extra sharp.
That's awesome 13! I've heard great things about the P-02. I agree, the SA pull is fantastic though mine may be a bit heavier than yours. Thank you for sharing and cheers!
I believe the dots have to do with how the tritium is installed. At least that's how it looks on my P07 Urban Grey on both the front and rear sights. My Trijicon HD rear is the exact same except the holes aren't filled.
Love my p01 omega. I will say, I'm not a huge fan of the raised sights to accommodate the threaded barrel so I might switch it out. Hubs has the p10c and I love the sights on that one. Either way, I'm a better shot than him with either gun😁
Thanks for the good review. I know this is older but it is what I’m currently looking at! Between this and the P-07 suppressor ready which would you personally choose? I’m looking for something that’s fun & easy to shoot, accurate, “duty” reliable, & could be carried. I currently carry a p365 but I’d like a more versatile pistol that could be carried in the evenings and on weekends. Thanks for what you do!
You review what you like as far as I'm concerned. Ultimately, you define your channel and you're 'thumbs up' will let you know if everyone likes what you do. Thanks for your work. -
Thanks Frank. With a 96% approval rate and positive feedback (mostly), it seems that I am doing not only what I like but also what most like. I do respond to feedback and make changes as necessary. That said, this is not my job, merely a hobby, so I move past comments that aren’t helpful. Cheers
CZ needs to cut him a Check.. Lord knows how many CZ Guns he helped them sale.. now only if we can get a guy just as devoted to help sell American Guns
Haha! Yes, please tell CZ that, Seth! I definitely need to get some more USA built guns on the channel. The Ruger Security 9 has really impressed so far! Thank you and cheers!
fdxman74 I don’t know much? CZ P-01s are not custom shop firearms built in the US, they are only imported through CZ USA. That’s just a fact. Browning died in 1926, yet you think he designed this firearm? The P-01 was designed in 1999 and was based off the CZ 75, which was designed in 1975 by Josef and František Koucký. Perhaps you meant that it uses a tilting barrel to unlock the breach, but most pistols use that and, by your logic (or lack thereof), all pistols using that were designed by Browning. Even if I was just an airsofter, I’d still know more about firearms than you. Perhaps I do just airsoft, or maybe I’m ex-military who has experience running M2 machine guns (something that actually was designed by Browning) and M1A2 battle tanks...and maybe you should take your whiny, childish bull shit somewhere else. It’s people like you who give firearm owners a bad name. Also, this was a RUclips comment and not a personal conversation. If you can’t figure that out, perhaps you need to give back your GED. I repeat, don’t be a twat.
fdxman74 most guns use browning’s designs, that doesn’t mean they were designed by an American. I’m still waiting for that link that shows P-01s are made in America, buddy. Good luck finding it, sport.
Ah...just like the Saturday morning cartoons of my youth! Love the P-01 Omega, however I prefer the standard Black over the SR Urban Gray model. #turnthosesightsaround ...thanks I needed that! lol
Another great video KS! One of my coworkers has one identical to yours. He bought it after shooting my regular P-01. Both of us could hit with it easily at 45 feet.
KSGunGuy when you get back to the Glock's...we'll have to do some chronograph comparisons lol... You in your controlled indoor range and me in the elevation and cold of Alaska
Hello there good review today. I bought this very same gun used at a local gun shop. I like to feel of it and I always wanted a P-01 omega. I also found out today that this is been discontinued this year. But I bought it anyway what’s your thoughts on guns that are discontinued?
I have a P-01 Omega in black w/o the Suppressor sights and irt shoots WAY low. After 3 trips to the range, at 7-10 yds, I have to put the front sight on the target and the top of the rear sights at the base of the front sight. My groups are consistent and tight, but are 4 inches lower than POA. Going one last time to put it on a stand and fire it at 25 yds since that is what CZ claims to have it sighted for. I've shot other CZ's and can't figure out why this one is soooo far of the mark.
I agree that sounds really odd. Does it have the right front sight? I wonder if they put the wrong one on at the factory. Definitely bench rest it to see if it still does it. Keep me posted! Thank you and cheers!
It's ten pound for the double action for people who carry without safety, the 10 pounds on the trigger is the safety. YOu have to get used to it and practice and then you can carry with a round in the chamber.
As always excellent review! I am a HUGE CZ Fanboy! I have the SP-01, PCR-D and the RAMI. As for the PO-01 I am sorry you were disappointed with it. You may want to T&E the PCR D. As for the stock grips; I went back to them. I bought a couple of grips from Cajun Gun Works and CZ Custom and went back to the stock grips as they were the best for me. But as always awesome review and Keep on Rocking! BTW, I do have a couple of other pistols too!..LOL IMO everyone needs 1 Polymer framed Pistol to go along with their collection. Mine is the Glock 17 Gen 3!
Thank you very much CJ! That’s a great collection brother. Glad I gave the P-01 a second try and definitely like it quite a bit more. I agree, always good to have a Glock lying around, lol. Cheers!
Anyone with a PCR or P-01...don't dry fire excessively because you will literally take a chunk out of your firing pin retaining pin (pin on the rear of the slide). The one on my 9 month old PCR was pretty chewed up. You can replace it with a better one from CGW for like 6 dollars. If you dry fire a lot or bought one used, check your pin.
Bought one recently...exact same pistol....same case...mags are labeled 15...not 16...why?...also, the front sight only does but illuminate in the dark...just the rear sight...any ideas?
Good video as usual KS. You just can't go wrong with the P-01. BTW the slide stop/take down pin is not ambi. You cannot just flip it around as there is no hole for the slide catch. However you could get a longer slide stop/take down pin that is set up for ambi use and install it if you were so inclined.
Anyone else having trouble with these? I bought one about a month ago, have had non-stop failure to feed problems. Just got it back from warranty repair and took it out today, about fifteen failures in 150 rounds. I'm going to send it back I guess, but I'm unimpressed to say the least. Shame too, I love my 75 and want very badly to love this gun. When it works it works great, but usually it'll choke once or twice per mag.
Very, very nice! But I think my future P-01 will be black with an Omega trigger. Looks to me like, instead of making a P-01 Phantom, they worked the slide a little and called it “P-07”. Let’s roll back the clock to Jan 8 at Gun Talk Media, when Tom shows Ryan an actual Sig P365, first time out of the box in public. Ryan: “What’s funny to me...it’s going to happen on other videos that come out today; people are going to read all the specs, they’re going to watch the video and they’re going to make a judgement call on the gun.” Tom: “They’re going to tell you everything that’s wrong with it and they’ve never seen it [in person], they’ve never held it.” Fast forward to that Wednesday evening. Tom and Ryan look like they can see the future. I literally laughed out loud. A terrific example of why I don’t waste time on most “live streams”. Too often it’s just guys pulling...“stuff” out of their...“pants”. Sorry, no interest. But it looks like a lot of people have fun there, which is great.
Thank you Jake! I wish you well on the hunt for the Black Omega. I hear they are crazy hard to find but definitely out there. As for the P365, I can’t wait. Very excited to get my hands on one. The live streams can be tons of fun but it’s true that some of the talk is without actual hands on experience. Hopefully we don’t do that too much! Cheers brother!
I just got my sp01 tactical and I love it but idk about the plastic or aluminum guns, they dont convince me when it comes to just how long theyll last compared to an all steel
What would be the equivalent in polymer? I'm interested in compact size and threaded barrel and polymer or steal. Thanks. I have an SP01 that is ok to shoot but don't like that it's aluminum or that it has a thumb safety. It was first gun I bought and wasn't sure what I liked then, but do now. Thanks again, and great review.
Really anything compact would be equivalent, like the CZ P10C, Glock 19, Smith M&P Compact, P320 Compact, etc. All would serve well. Just find the one you shoot the best. Thank you and cheers!
I saw that this was a KSGunGuy video with a CZ, clicked like, watched, enjoyed. It takes all of the CZ 75 mags, YES!!! That does it, I need to buy it. Urban gray, also known as tan. . . . . I have shot the P01 and really liked it. I wonder if there was something off with your P01? My wife annexed my CZ 75 BD, I need to pick up a P01 or Shadow.
Thank you as always King! Yes, I think there was something off with the first one... me, lol. Glad I gave it a second try. Tough decision on the P-01 vs Shadow. Probably ought to get both! Cheers brother!
Hey my friend I know this video is been out for a while but I have a po1 the urban grey just like the one you have I was also looking at different grips cuz I don't like the standard grips that came with the gun I went to amazon.com and I got grips called cool hand grips for $35 and they're just like to VZ and they're just like the other ones that you spoke of freaking great grips if you feel like it try it let's go to amazon.com and look up CZ po1 grips and you'll see what I'm talking about they're really great
Absolutely nothing wrong with it! I blame me. Just didn’t care as much for that curved trigger on the non-Omega and didn’t connect well with the gun. Still great in many hands though. Thank you for the question and cheers!
What didn't you like about the standard P01? Be sure to check your gun for a walking decocker, when the slide is back, press on the ejector to see if the decockers pop up. Ive had two with this issue on the omega system.
KSGunGuy That was my thought . I think metal. ... Striker fired pistols might be the next craze . The polymer striker fired gun is starting to be redundant .
That's a crazy good price! Check out RUclips channel 1776 or Bust. He has several P01s and holsters for them. He'll be able to make much better recommendations than I could. Tell him I sent you! Cheers
Do you know of any companies that make base plates for the standard P01 mags, just to give it a cleaner look? Also where can I get an aftermarket threaded barrel for a standard P01?
not liking the doubler de-cocker. Even if you use a de-cocker ALL the time, why would you want it on both sides?? An extra lever you never use that adds width?? Either you use it on the right side or the left... you don't commonly interchange which de-cocker you use.
terry adams MSRP is $636 as of 1/2018 EDIT: The price listed above is for the CZ 75B Omega Grey w/Supp sights and threaded barrel. This video references the CZ 75 SP01....
What is up with the “I hate thumb safeties” crowd? Every AR had one ffs. Do you forget to pull your d0ng out when you go to p1ss? No. It’s second nature to flip the safety off as you draw the pistol. You’re far more likely to shoot yourself in the leg carrying appendix than ever use your gun for self defense- so you may as well be SAFE.
What’s a Glock? 😂. You’re doing fine with the CZ’s! Keep it coming!
Haha! Well said. Cheers!
I agree I would be happy to not see another Glock video. Lots of used ones for sale in the classifieds around here.
Great video, that P-01 looks awesome!
Thank you as always Honest! Cheers brother!
I guess it's kind of off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new series online?
@Theodore Jayden i use FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Maddox Ulises yup, I have been watching on Flixzone for since april myself :D
@Maddox Ulises thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!!
Great review. I’ve got the P-07 Omega and it’s a phenomenal firearm as an EDC.
I own one love it! M-carbo spring kit made it even better especially in double action. I own many polymer pistols for carry but this metal gun seems to do everything a little better . Wife loves it too.
Very nice pistol as nice to see you give P01 a chance again...Good detailed info....Good stuff...
Thank you Scott! Glad I gave it a second look too brother!
When I'm 21 in four months this will be my first pistol no doubt. I thought it was a 14 round mag like the P-01, but found out that it's a 16 round magazine by watching your video. Loving it even more now!
Happy early birthday and great choice! Thank you and cheers!
The mags that come with the gun doesn't dictate how many rounds you could potentially hold. Mec Gar makes 19,16, 15 round mags for all CZ 75's
I like the palm swells. Helps me shoot better. I did switch to lok grips. Definitely worth the money
I picked one of these up (lightly) used and love it! The trigger is like you describe and I don't find it really feels like pulling 10 pounds on that first shot. Holy smokes, gorgeous gun. Good work brother!
Thanks brother!
Eying this puppy for the last couple months. The suppressor rear sight reminds of a big GT race car wing. Very slick lookin pistol all around.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
Love the sights .. I think they are the best suppressor hight night sights I've ever used.. so bright I love them!! And and bloody accurate with this gun .. I am in love with mine

Just got mine today! Got lucky, called my friendly local neighborhood gun dealer. They happen to have 1 in stock! And now it’s mine😀
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
P01 omega trigger shape is amazing. The front serrations are the best way to manipulate any gun in my opinion.
Indeed Humble! Cheers brother!
Nice Vid, thanks! I have one and my most favorite to shoot. Super comfortable, i personally really like the grip. Most accurate gun I own and I have some nice optiond.

You can also roll one of those #83 O-Rings onto the threads and screw the protector back on hand-tight to keep it from unscrewing during use.
Well if you run out of ammo you can always take an eye out with those crazy sights.
True! Thank you and cheers!
I got my hands on 3 of these beauties the other month!!!! I don’t feel too bad...they had 4 so I left one for another lucky fella!!
Nice!
I really like the compact CZs
I agree! Thank you and cheers!

I luv mine. The suppressor sight work great with my octane can. Going to send it to Cajun gun works for trigger upgrade.
Viper1 Sniper the triggers are great stock, I can only imagine a cajun. I hear they are reeaallyy nicee
I believe the dots have to do with how the tritium is installed. At least that's how it looks on my P07 Urban Grey on both the front and rear sights. My Trijicon HD rear is the exact same except the holes aren't filled.
Nothing wrong with another CZ.
😉☺️
I agree! Cheers!
Love my p01 omega. I will say, I'm not a huge fan of the raised sights to accommodate the threaded barrel so I might switch it out. Hubs has the p10c and I love the sights on that one. Either way, I'm a better shot than him with either gun😁

Ha, ha. You're changing over to CZGunGuy?
That rear suppressor sight, though. It's staring at me! That thing could have its own zip code!
lol

Haha! The CZ train is slowing down for a while, I promise. I agree about the sights... very different. Thank you and cheers!

Thanks Frank. With a 96% approval rate and positive feedback (mostly), it seems that I am doing not only what I like but also what most like. I do respond to feedback and make changes as necessary. That said, this is not my job, merely a hobby, so I move past comments that aren’t helpful. Cheers
You buy one CZ and you're an instant addict to add more to your collection. Will get one later in the year. Nice review. #CZLIFE
Well said Keanon! Can't wait to hear your take on the P-01. Thank you as always and cheers!
Thank you and cheers!
fdxman74 it isn’t made in America. I don’t particularly care (I just realized that none of my pistols are American), I’m just pointing that out.
fdxman74 this isn’t one of those firearms produced in the US. Very few are. Of course I’ve heard about Browning. Don’t be a twat.
fdxman74 I don’t know much?
Just got mine today!!!
Ah...just like the Saturday morning cartoons of my youth!
Love the P-01 Omega, however I prefer the standard Black over the SR Urban Gray model.
#turnthosesightsaround ...thanks I needed that! lol
Thank you MyLife! Love the cartoon reference, lol. Cheers as always brother!
I also prefer black. Can this gun be made black in a professional factory way? Or is it easier to buy a black model and put a threaded barrel in it?
Another great video KS! One of my coworkers has one identical to yours. He bought it after shooting my regular P-01. Both of us could hit with it easily at 45 feet.
Thank you SPPG! It’s a heck of a shooter indeed brother. Cheers as always!
Excellent review; thank you sir!
Thank you very much! Cheers!
I've seen this in a polymer version with the same barrel and suppressor sights... Thinking about picking me up one...
Great video
Thank you! Are you referring to the Phantom for the polymer version?
KSGunGuy i have no idea... Don't know much about cz lol
It's all good. You've got me curious.
KSGunGuy when you get back to the Glock's...we'll have to do some chronograph comparisons lol... You in your controlled indoor range and me in the elevation and cold of Alaska
Heck yes!
Nice review KS, really liked the slo mo at the end...nice touch!!
Thank you very much NC! I appreciate it brother. Cheers!
Hi KS, seems like your gun shooting compared to the previous p01 improved. Great vid!
Contact CZ. They took care of the issue my RAMI BD had no questions asked.
I've been waiting for it to happen and finally it did! Welcome back to the P-01 club! Nice review!
Thank you very much Ryan! Cheers brother!
In search of one!
It's ten pound for the double action for people who carry without safety, the 10 pounds on the trigger is the safety. YOu have to get used to it and practice and then you can carry with a round in the chamber.
Very true. Thank you and cheers!
I'm glad your finally on the p01 train brotha!!
Me too Shawn! It's a blast to shoot for sure. Thank you as always and cheers!
Buy a Grand Power pistol and see how easy these are to take down. Both are amazing guns
Great advice! Thank you very much for sharing, Nerf. Cheers!
Look for cz shadow line compact, no more firing pin problems coz it doesn't exist on it
Nice Review KS! #CZLIFE Indeed, Carry On
Thank you Big J! Cheers brother!
Very nice KS!
Thank you MD! Cheers!
Awesome video! "Grenade Launcher" don't know why but that made me laugh haha
You can never have too many grenade launchers! Cheers Max!
KSGunGuy agreed lmao!
That is one SWEET pistol!!! Great video KS!
Thank you very much Nolan! Cheers brother!
I have one of these on the way. Should be here next week
Awesome! Thank you and cheers
Thank you Matteo! That’s great info on the slide stop. Thank you very much for sharing. Cheers as always brother!
I put VZ grips on mine, love the gun
That’s awesome Scott! I’d love to try some at some point. Thank you and cheers!
I have a P01 and love it. BUT I hate the sights. What sights are those? Dawson Precision suppressor height sights?
You are a damn good shot.
Thank you very much! Cheers Zachary!
I haven't had an issue with mine. Sorry you're going through that! Thank you and cheers!
Nice job, I missed out on one a couple months ago
Thank you very much Trees! Might be time to revisit them brother. Great shooters for sure. Cheers!
Nice CZ great review
Thank you very much Fito! Cheers!
"...lights, lasers, grenade launchers..." YES!
You can never have too many, lol. Thank you and cheers!
Ryan: “What’s funny to me...it’s going to happen on other videos that come out today; people are going to read all the specs, they’re going to watch the video and they’re going to make a judgement call on the gun.”
Tom: “They’re going to tell you everything that’s wrong with it and they’ve never seen it [in person], they’ve never held it.”
Fast forward to that Wednesday evening.
KSGunGuy At least neither guy was called KSGunGuy, for which I am very thankful. 😉
That means a lot Jake! Thank you brother!
I just got my sp01 tactical and I love it but idk about the plastic or aluminum guns, they dont convince me when it comes to just how long theyll last compared to an all steel
Nice pistol for sure!
Thank you very much Keith! Cheers brother!
Nice job KS
Thank you very much Farm! Cheers!
CZ P07 omega, set up for decocker. Basically the polymer equivalent of this. Can be had with or without the threaded barrel and raised sights.
How is "wheeling in a couple of Glocks to redeem myself" redeeming yourself, there Blocks? ;)
is this a cerakote job or what is it and does it scratch easy?>
Hey my friend I know this video is been out for a while but I have a po1 the urban grey just like the one you have I was also looking at different grips cuz I don't like the standard grips that came with the gun I went to amazon.com and I got grips called cool hand grips for $35 and they're just like to VZ and they're just like the other ones that you spoke of freaking great grips if you feel like it try it let's go to amazon.com and look up CZ po1 grips and you'll see what I'm talking about they're really great
Who sells a holster for this particular model? I'm looking for a hip out of the waist. Any help?
have you expernisced any of the omega issues reproted on youtube with the deocker/safety walking?
I sure haven't
What was wrong with the original p-01 you tested earlier? Why didn't you like it?
Absolutely nothing wrong with it! I blame me. Just didn’t care as much for that curved trigger on the non-Omega and didn’t connect well with the gun. Still great in many hands though. Thank you for the question and cheers!
I also wish they were easier to disassemble….
Where can you find the Omega series forsale?
I'd just keep looking online. Thank you and cheers!
Are you out of olathe or the surrounding area? Do you still have this firearm?
Nice gun
Thank you very much Jeff!
What didn't you like about the standard P01? Be sure to check your gun for a walking decocker, when the slide is back, press on the ejector to see if the decockers pop up. Ive had two with this issue on the omega system.
Great advice Kody! The first P-01 and I just didn’t get along. Not really sure why. Thank you and cheers!
Great video as always KS ! Nice gun . I was wondering , just had this thought . Does anyone make a steal or alloy or metal... Striker fired pistol ???
Thank you very much Dave! Great question.... Hudson is the only one that comes to mind.
KSGunGuy Thanks KS. Great answer .
It would be cool to see more!
KSGunGuy That was my thought . I think metal. ... Striker fired pistols might be the next craze . The polymer striker fired gun is starting to be redundant .
The Walther Q5 SF Match comes to mind.
Just picked one up for $429 shipped, couldnt pass it up at that price. Does anyone have any holster opinions for the gun
That's a crazy good price! Check out RUclips channel 1776 or Bust. He has several P01s and holsters for them. He'll be able to make much better recommendations than I could. Tell him I sent you! Cheers
Thanks
Where did you get it from?
freeze1617 where on earth did you find it for that price?!
Anr designs makes fantastic holsters.
Do you know of any companies that make base plates for the standard P01 mags, just to give it a cleaner look? Also where can I get an aftermarket threaded barrel for a standard P01?
Not sure man. Good questions though.
KSGunGuy last time I spoke with Mike P he said they were working on a 5.56 can.
Got one today
Awesome! Thank you and cheers!
KSGunGuy sending it off to Cajun gun works in june
Very cool!
Can you change that baseplate out for carry?
The stock mag is NOT 16...It's 15!
my dream gun, 1 day is 1 day
It will happen Kent! Cheers brother!
not liking the doubler de-cocker. Even if you use a de-cocker ALL the time, why would you want it on both sides?? An extra lever you never use that adds width?? Either you use it on the right side or the left... you don't commonly interchange which de-cocker you use.
For lefties
Do they make the p01 in black that has a ambi decocker??
They sure do! It’s not the tactical, but otherwise the same idea. Thank you and cheers!
does this have the trigger spring breakage problem too ?
Not at all. Thank you and cheers!
Anybody have a lead on IWB holsters for this? Ie: threaded barrel and suppressor sights.
Check with Harry from Harrys Holsters. I bet he has one. Thank you and cheers!
Anr design makes great holsters
I bought mine off gunbroker. One lamp on rear sight is non-functional. Gunbroker guy refused to address. CZ won’t warranty it. Sux
This is the CZ I want what is the price for the Omega good video!!!!
terry adams MSRP is $636 as of 1/2018
EDIT: The price listed above is for the CZ 75B Omega Grey w/Supp sights and threaded barrel.
This video references the CZ 75 SP01....
Brett G Thank you Sir!!!!!
Trying to decide to purchase this CZ model or the Glock gen 5 19 this will be my carry piece!
Thank you Terry! I agree with Brett on the price. Not bad for what you get. Cheers!
Thank you!
