Thanks so much for the review. The turning circle alone makes me consider getting this chassis. However for an already expensive car I'd have to get a proprietary receiver and ICS adapter to tune it which is probably not a good investment for me. Since I've taken a liking to this chassis already I might get a FWD and convert it to AWD instead, either that or straight to GLA. I don't know. We'll see.
That would be amazing, to see you convert fwd to awd. I got the I. C. S and gyro from bangood and had a kt18 so saved money. Still expensive! I'd also like to see what you make of the gla. I am tempted but have just got the bz3 so that will keep me busy for now...
5:45 why yes I did notice ;) would love to see a dedicated video on this car & what you did to frankenstein that front end together! It looks nuts from where I’m sitting!
Hi there, I was watching your channel, cool man, so am going to start getting into mini z car racing , and what chassis would work better, the AWD or the RWD, thanks
Hi thanks for dropping by. All depends what surface you intend to run the mini z on. The rwd is great if you have a grippy smooth surface. A floor that is too smooth will cause it to spin out even with the most grippy tyres. The awd costs more but is quite versatile. It can be driven as grippy awd or drifted using drift tyres. All the cars I run in the track videos are awd except the drz. I would check if there is a local track and see what they run before you buy. I love the awd set up but it's heavier compared to a rwd.
Hi thanks, I think it only works for the asf /asf ve Pro models or the newer evo models with seperate reciever modules. I have a Mr03 and it doesn't work for that. I have an older Mr02 asf and it works with that.... Sometimes...
So I have the mr-03 evo 20th Anniversary chassis its a w-mml/8500kv I have still not been able to even get the app to register anything in com port at all
Really interested in your views on the atomics vs the new MA-030 cant wait for the next part also looking forward to the steering mod, have noticed most mini-z have asymmetric max steering
The standard atomic is good but better with the hyperbell steering mod. I got fed up with my old ma02 and chopped it up and was suprised I managed to improve it. Video coming soon. 👍🏽
Thanks for sharing this, just want to confirm you are using the DasMikro connector and not the official Kyosho one? There seems to be some comments on Facebook page noting that the DasMikro might brick the board. Thanks.
@@GarageMiniRCUK thanks for the heads up, do you have a link to that video for the downloading of the KO pro driver, etc. I can't seem to find that. I have a KT-432PT which arrived recently and am waiting for the MA-030EVO to arrive. Only ordered the ics connector today, so will most likely start off playing with it via the KT-432PT.
Then probably a rwd will suit you best, check what size you want they come in 90,94, and 98mm. For large tracks 98mm best as most stable, usually have wider track/wheel offset/ width.

how do you change the setting of the gyro? I change using the manager and nothing happens.. also i tried to change the setting from the controller also nothing happens.. can someone help me?
@@GarageMiniRCUK i am using the kt432pt transmitter... the problem is occuring when i use the fhss rf... if I use the fhss one way the problem dissapear but there is no gyro.. even if I change the setying using the ics manager the gyro still responds as it set as 100%
Check that the channel 3 is assigned to the correct button and for the gyro if its not assigned it won't change the gyro even if the vlaue changes on display. The transmitter alwys overrides ics settings for gyro.
@@GarageMiniRCUK THANK YOU SO MUCH MATE!!! Been fidling with it for the past couple of hours trying to set it in the ics manger. It looks like it only can control the gyro through the channel 3 send points and not through the gyro gain. Hope this comments might help someone when they encounter this same problem in the future!
Good question I’ll look at mine. I think they fade down you can tell if wheels don’t counter it’s upside down . For the rcp track drift style 45 percent hard floor anything for 50 to 80 also dpends on if fixed diffs etc
No it doesn't, I tried it on an old asf Mr02, it did not work with that either. Ma020 doesn't support ics. The awd asf ve models do but I'm sure you need the older ics lead. Is it for a steering issue? Ma020 can be reset without one.
Garage Mini RC UK I just got this and opened the box and started playing with it and the steering is all out of Center, I put the steering trim on the remote all the way to the right and it still pulls to the left. Don’t know what else I can do. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue??

I realize it is kind of randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to stream newly released series online?

List of videos is getting longer... It was easier than I thought it would be....ok added to list 📃
Which Gyro is required for the MA-030EVO AWD? Cheers
I have the same Question 🤔
It's not the mini z sports gyro it has the plug for the older asf type. I'll see if I can post product code .
I got the same, but did you get the wide kit in the package or did you buy it serparately?
Wide kit is included . The drive shafts have longer dogbones that you have to switch in the kit .
These are super expensive but I REALLY want one. I was pretty disappointed with the top speed tests

My one has been fine. I've had it a year and used it on my evo, ve Pro adn even older asf models and my evo rwd
Also check my video about downloading the ko Pro driver as well as the correct evo software. Have to install the driver for USB port to accept ics

Is the MA030 I.C.S the same as those for MB01VE buggy?
Not sure it looks the same but I haven't tested it.
Maybe do you have an exact No. or link for the Gyro please ?
Ill have a look for it and post later. Where are you located ?
Would be running it on carpet or rubber track, my local hobby shop just got one in last week, thanks.

I’ll have to look up the model number but it’s not the same as the ma020 . The plug and wiring is the same as the mao2ve pro . I’ll repost later

which program is what you use there
