Installed it with a new RA shortblock. A friend of mine went with the DW kit and the iWire kit was much easier to install.
Made a world of difference wiring everything in! Love the idea of having the pressure switch kn there as well to enable the second pump ar a certain PSI as well!

It's a Gen 1 3076r Previous owner had skipped over a few details. Didn't really have a safe fuel system for the power. I've also swapped from a straight e85 tune, to full flex. Pretty in depth build also.
What's up Tanner, great video, fyi the tank that smells bad isn't a washer reservoir.....it's your intercooler water tank. Since you have a front mount you probably can remove it or replum the hose from the scoop. The button on the dash to the left of your steering wheel that says I/C spray is what you push to shoot water on your top mount.
You said to let you know how the tune went, Bill hooked me up and she runs and pulls great now! But now I need to replace my wheel speed sensors because I’m getting shit limp mode with a p0500 (I know I fucked up one of them while doing my clutch install) so those will be here Friday and I’ll be on the road having fun 😎

@@Smeedia i used to make around 24-26 but my neighbor and best friend was complaining she was gaining too much weight so i had to reduce the amount🤪😂true story.wafels don't last long around here, neither do american cookies, brownie cookies,chocolate cake,chocolate pie and pancakes 😉 i learned how to bake about 2 years ago because i needed to gain weight.great tip use lactose free low fat milk, doesn't give such a bloated feeling afterwards.👍😉

Have you looked into doing a flipped intake manifold? It shortens the front mount piping by a shit load and reduces any lag. Did you do split fuel rails and made the fuel lines all the same length to fuel rails?
@@Smeedia when I built my STI I was told by a few top Subaru guys that unless you have over 500hp a front mount is no better then the factory top mount. Your right, you will have power to overcome any lag from pipping. Good to see you used CP pistons, these were my choice to.

so what's going to be your next daily? seeing how this wont be a daily driver soon enough at the rate you're going haha. I personally suggest when boarders open going to Canada and getting like a 99 or 2000 STI and fixing that up. Or maybe getting a 99RS here and doing an STI swap/restoration, that would be awesome!
Do you need a tune for an aftermarket top mount and charge pipe. Keep seeing ppl say you don't need one and the reasoning is the air has already been calculated at that point so a tune isn't required.
You can swap them but you won't see any gains at all, I also wouldent advise changing them without a tune. You end up changing the volumetric efficiency of air flow
I think I missed it, is the hardwire kit required just because of the second fuel pump pulling more power than the stock wiring originally provided? Stellar DIY video man! Love this content.
It allows us to wire in the secondary pump to prove power. The stock wiring only allows for 1 pump, plus this set up let's us kick on the second pump at a specified PSI

You still have your seats bolted in?? I just have the bolts in my glove box in a bag and the seats are just mounted for fast removal, and I've ran wiring thru that access hole before. Make sure you put something to seal it up, 8 legged critters find their way inside that way. Ask me how I know 🤣
