Henry VIII/Mary I; Become So Numb

I feel this is another fitting song for these two brilliant but brutal monarchs, the strong-willed King Henry VIII and his beloved daughter who became Queen Mary I.
I'm tired of being what you want me to be
(They're tired of accepting the pain)
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
(Henry has torn the church and his people apart)
Don't know what you're expecting of me
(He can't possibly expect her to accept the new religion and the new Queens, can he?)
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
(She must always behave as a good Princess should, even though he wasn't always the perfect Prince)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Every step they take towards religious divide- her retread into extreme Catholicism and him into the the radical new Protestant Church- takes them away from one another.)
