Literal best tutorial, no one else says you have to be grounded to do this, I've been jumping and trying to do this while I'm mid air. Then one minute in you tell me this and now I'm doing it everytime within 12 seconds of watching this video. This should be the video that comes up when searching how to super jump. Thanks
I found that on controller if you bind jump to “L1”or “LB” and your interact button to “R1” or “RB” it makes it so much easier to consistently zip line super jump. This also allows you to keep your thumb on your right stick to allow you to move more fluently. (Btw nice video)
Personally I hate changing my controls that drastically. I have learned how to do it just by pressing the face buttons square and X. If you rock your thumb from square to X, then jitter your hand to spam press X it works very consistently for me. I learned the timing at first by using one thumb to press square, and the other to spam X. Once I understood the timing I just practiced it with one thumb till I got the timing perfect. One tip for getting this to be more consistent is to hop in range with a friend and have them shoot you for pressure. Something about knowing it is life or death makes your fingers move faster and the timing easier. Now that I have bumpers I am going to mess around with pressing square, back paddle jump, and regular face button jump. This in theory would make it easier because you can have two jump inputs faster, and more time to move your thumb from square to X. Hope this helps someone get the trick down. It is super useful and very much possible and consistent when you get it down.
your movement guides are one of the best tutorials ive seen, i like the way you explain all techniques and i actually learned a lot today. thanks a lot man

I love your tutorials. It's straight to the point and application helps a lot. And that Minecraft burn comment by the other guy was pretty funny, I'll use it too 🤣
If you can turn around fast enough, or better, tap strafe, you can grap the zipline again without pressing "s" key, this make it so that you won't suspend in the air 1:05, this make you go up the zipline just a tiny bit faster and smoother, making you even harder to hit.
I couldn't even get the basic one to work at all until I bound my jump to the scroll wheel, so easy after that. Tried so many different variations of timing too.
Do you hold backwards from the moment you hit f? Because when I try exactly what you tell me to do with the vertical zip line up only, it doesn't matter how quick I press s after the jump, I always get shot forward
I was going forward all the time too. If you look at the video again, he is not only pressing 's', but also 'd'. You need to use both keys, either 'd' or 'a'. That's where the trick is. I can reattach to ziplines now, not 100% consistent but still can. Plus, a 180 or 90 degree turn will make it much easier.
0:42 I have jump binded to scroll down, but for some reason the timing is very inconsistent and i almost never get the correct height, like even though i’m pressing both at the same time it isn’t working consistently
