Train yourself to not care about winning or losing and it relieves all the stress. I always take the “it is what it is, and it is going to be what it’s going to be” and you’ll not have that tension. Tension happens when you care too much of winning or losing an engagement.

Without the a shadow of a doubt, the absolute best guide to better aim. Every single tip, is a universal to every fps game. I wish more people see this. 10/10 video, keep up the good job
I just started playing this game and Im terrible at aiming. I would literally start panicking whenever someone was shooting at me, so it made my aim worse. Now that I’m getting used to it and don’t panic as much, I’m much better. I’m still a bad shot, but I don’t lose my head in fights and have been able to down or kill more enemies than before. Thanks for all of your great tips!
Two things that i consider the most important; Relax - it was said throughout but some people dont realise how important it is. If you're tense you'll grip tighter, your aim will be more rigid, you may overshoot and you'll perform worse. Sensitivity - In most cases high sensitivity is your enemy, it exaggerates movements, so panicked movements are all over the place. Worse still, you dont have a frame of reference. Your hand and eyes see and feel something different to each other. I personally recommend centring on a target and then moving your wrist comfortably left and right, 80% full extension. If you go further, or shorter than 90 degrees flicking left or right, you have a random sens with no frame of reference - tune it up or down until you get a 90 degree turn on a natural left or right flick. This gives you some grounding for your body and gives confidence that you will get a 90 degree turn 100% of the time. With this everything in front of you is within a frame of reference and youll be able to relate to where enemies are and hand movements more intuitively. It also tends to be lower sense, this is helpful for reducing exaggerated movements when flicking/panicking/long-distanced shooting.
I like how these tips are not overly centered on the mechanical aspects of aiming, but more so on aim preparation and breaking bad habits that provide disadvantages. So yea this really deserves more views so it could help out more players in apex legends.
“You can’t unlock your aim overnight.” Me: *Watched this video and after an hour or two of practice in the training range I went from whiffing entire hip fire mages miles away from the enemies to sending entire clips into the enemy.* Thanks for the tips mate. I'm coming back to this after months of playing and improving and it's genuinely the SINGLE BEST AIMING GUIDE I've seen and it applies to pretty much every shooter out there (give or take a few game-specific quirks). Just keeping these things in mind has helped me get waaaay better and I'm a lot more confident in gunfights now, which has the added bonus effect of getting me to win more gunfights. This is probably the first video on aim that’s ever helped me. Your explanation of letting your brain process the minute details subconsciously is game changing. I have a serious bad habit of actively thinking about exactly how to do every fine movement, and it’s overwhelming to deal with when everything starts happening at once. Truly phenomenal guide my man! 😁
This video was great. It helps me realize what parts I was mostly struggling with, which is mostly recoil and tension. I always just thought it was too hard to figure out the recoil patterns, but how you explained, to use a few certain guns for a bit, is gonna help me a lot I bet. I've been getting better with tension, and at the same time, I don't really get mad when I lose, I just see what I could have done better.

If you told me before watching this video that my issue was being too tense in fights I would have told you I was perfectly relaxed. After watching the section describing what happens in fights and about consistency I realized that's exactly what I do. There are times my aim is just spot on, and then a minute later it is garbage.
That was really bugging me! Thanks. And great video, I’ll throw you a sub. Really happy for you that you’ve blown up so much. Quality content deserves it and you deliver it. Sad that so much lesser stuff gets so much more attention. Keep on keeping on mate!
Honestly an amazing video, I've seen so many apex tips videos since the game has come out and this is definitely the most constructive and helpful one by far.
*I know this is a reply i made to a comment, but I think this is a good tip* I used to see pros dominate with the wingman and think "man i wish i could do that". Then the Arenas game mode came out. This changes everything. You can practice any gun in this game mode and know for a fact you will have multiple engagements with the enemy. This can only help you get better since you are forcing yourself to use a gun you are bad at again and again, against real people not just training bots or relying on the RNG of battle royale.
I've always been decent with the wingman but not good enough to feel confident I could win a duel with it. Arena has changed that. Wingman is now my favourite gun in the game.

Honestly watch this one every few weeks just to remind myself of what I need work on. Had a 4k in arenas today and the next match I was hyperfocused on replicating that game rather than the new one, thus my movement and aim became erratic as my heart rate increased. This video is GREAT! I'm realizing that it's going to be a grind for sure to improve my aim, but your tips are definetly a good guide as to what I should be aiming for when I am aiming. I'm already starting to see some minor improvements in my gameplay, and if it's not anything major, I am at least playing with your tips in mind. Your tip with the sensitivity has especially helped me with recoil control and tracking since I was always at a really high sens (around 5 at 800 dpi) which made it really hard for recoil control. But once I tried it out at a sens of around 1.5-2, I realized that it helps me a lot with recoil control and tracking. Thanks for the great video!
This sounds like a super sus infomercial style endorsement but I literally watched your video and then got my first 2k badge on my next match. So thanks! 🙌

@@SuitMonkey also one thing, can you give some advice on how to not be a bullet sponge? I aim well but I also get downed often. I'm sure you have videos on strafing which I'll check out later but I hope you can address how we can avoid getting hit too much during fights
@@abirhasankhan9327 actually yea, you're 100% on the right track. Aim and Cover are two sides to the same coin, and Movement bridges that gap. Neither exist in a vacuum and you need both to be effective. I plan to upload some shorts in the meantime while I'm making the other video to address that specifically.
Thanks for this! You made me notice that I tend to place my crosshair near the ground and that I use ADS way too much in situations where hip firing would be a better option.

WOAH YOU WERE AT 870 SUBSCRIBERS AND YOU HAVE THIS MANY ALREADY??? Good shitttt dudee 🤙🏾🥰
This is one self aware guy, and I love it
This video is just what I needed! It's helped me to unlock my instinctual aiming skills, rather than just give a bunch of tips that I immediately forget when fight or flight kicks in during battle. Awesome
(UPDATE #2) 1 MILLION VIEWS!!!! HOLY ....
That officially means this video is the most popular Apex Legends Aim Guide on RUclips (I think)... NONE OF THIS IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT ANY OF YOU GUYS!! I'm forever indebted for your amazing support! The response has been totally INSANE and I love you all! Lets get these dubs.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
(UPDATE #1) 9k Subs? This is literally crazy. You guys are the best. More content underway.
(ORIGINAL)
Thank all you guys so much for helping the channel reach 1K subs!!!! This is INSANE and I have no one to thank but all of my supporters. Working on more stuff coming soon, and hopefully we can look back on this day in the future and joke about it.
Keep Make Tips And Trick Brow Love that.
I can’t help but ask , are you Bajan ? From Barbados ?
@@cozy3040 I somehow missed this comment bro. Yes 💯! Lol
@@cozy3040 can't believe I missed this one... Yea 100% Bajan❤️
Hello 👋 I just wanted to say 👍this is very very helpful, ( back story) my daughter asked me to play, now see I'm 55 and not a fan of games like this. I did however learn DBD ( my daughter 😂) any kind of shooting (fighting) game I am a healer. So see by doing this video💜 you just don't know much this is helping me. Thank you. Stay Healthy and Happy always 💜💜💜💜🇺🇸🤟💜💜💜
I REALLY really appreciate you kind words. Keep on playing and most importantly, keep on having fun. Its awesome that you picked it up, and soon we might even cross paths in-game.
Thanks again. 🙂
@@SuitMonkey that would be awesome i would be honored to cross paths. if you come across Wizardlycash250 yep that's me💜
Bro your aim is 🔥🔥🔥 because of your aim and amazing movement people will fear you for sure
This was a great video, very old lol but I’m sure the techniques still stand perfectly, thank you
Thanks LTC, glad you enjoyed.
@@SuitMonkey definitely earned a sub from me, hope you enjoy the rest of your day :)
Dude how do you not have more subs - these tips are not just good for this game but any shooter! I had to sub cuz all these videos are fire. Especially for someone who is just learning mouse and keyboard
Finally a tip video where the enemies aren't just noobs
idk how this popped up in my recommendation but this is a very in-depth guide. Thank you for the guide.
He is underrated but this was the best vedio coz he explained 10k things in details he is a god millions of respect👍👍👍👍😇🙏
Wow. You had less than a thousand subscribers when this was posted. As of the time I’m posting this comment, it’s at almost 18k.
It’s easy to see why.
Thank you for the vid man. Super helpful.
This video is very well made. Thanks bro
This sounds like a super sus infomercial style endorsement but I literally watched your video and then got my first 2k badge on my next match. So thanks! 🙌
Haha you're welcome bro
SuitMonkey, keep doing what you're doing. I found your video from a manual search on "how to aim better in apex" and honestly I was expecting to find useless videos with subjective advice but I didn't imagine I would find something this seriously well made and objectively accurate. You deserve all the views you got on this video bro
@@abirhasankhan9327 most definitely, my hiatus is over.
I definitely understood all of that 😵💫💀💤
(I'm new to Apex) 😭
But I appreciate your time and effort into this video 👍👍
Keep it up!
Haha❤️
WOW This is cute seeing you had 800 subscribers when you made this just 4 months ago! That's crazy! Congratulations on the well-deserved success brother!
Thanks brother!
