have the saniflo since about 2021. The plumber didn't install a separate vent for it and now the smell comes up through the bathroom sink, not very pleasant when brushing hands or teeth. The toilet bowl also doesn't flush clean when doing #2 as there isn't enough water to fill the tank as the water line in the bowl max's out. Good luck on finding any remedies on these issues from anywhere.
This bathroom turned out absolutely beautiful! Thanks for posting. I am in the planning stages to do the exact same thing in my basement. Just curious how you rounded the front of your base for the shower stall and what did you use to hide the wood? Thank you in advance.
@@highwayman14711 Thank you for the compliment. I did use DuraBoard (cement type) to round the front of the base, since it becomes flexible when cut in 4” or 6” strips, also it’s very easy to tile it over.
Hi M J! Very nice bathroom! I just got a macerating pump too. A shower and sink can connect to the same inlet 1.5 inch? Also the way you did the vent for the sink+shower, isn't the horizontal supposed to be 6 inches above the lavatory and vertical up for vent near the sink (sanitary tee) 6 inches above then horizontal to your main vent?
Thank you, I am not a professional plumber but the reason I posted this video is that when I was studying this system I couldn’t find a full video of inside of the bathroom fixtures and the pipe connection on the back wall. You probably already installed your macerating pump, but if you haven’t done it yet I would say Yes to all of your questions.

Thank you, The SaniFlo toilet is made of porcelain, the shape of it looks like most European toilets.
