My take on this MV: the story is a metaphor, it's representing Dimash as an artist and who "feeds" on the energy of his audience (represented by the girl); they are bringing him to life. Without his audience he feels alone, not alive and in a dark place.
At the same time, it is referring to Dimash's preference to keep his private life for himself. The first interview (from "Interview with the vampire") kind of shows that constant tension between his public and private life.
Dimash adores his audience, his Dears; they are his gateway to heaven, but at the same time they are often asking him about when he'll get married. Maybe the girl is also used as a little mockery about taking a (vampire) bride?
Just one take on it; Dimash always loves to play with symbolism & metaphors to add more depth to a story. He also likes to play with the polarities of good and bad, black and white, light and dark, war and peace, heaven (the mystery) and earth (the visible), ....
There are always messages to be found for everyone, depending on how you perceive and interpret. That makes this artist and his creations só exciting! 🤩

As the MV begins you hear 'The Flower Duet' from the opera 'Lacmé' by Delibes which was composed in 1881 and premiered in Paris in 1883. The ride is a Rolls Royce.. perhaps 1970's vintage.
"You are the best thing to happen" Count Dimash, "You make it all worth it baby!"
Most everyone agrees this is one of Dimash's greatest performances.. with a song that rocks Transylvania to its very core with a flare of contemporary Dimash to digest.. and a taste of vocals to die for!
Yes.. everyone focuses on his singing.. the notes.. the technique.. the visuals.. yea! They're great! BUT IS THERE A MESSAGE?!
Dimash's mastery of symbolism is no secret and here.. he poses as a vampire.. representing society as having become dead and losing its emotions and feelings.. and longing for some one, something, to raise him back to mortality. And so he might find a 'girl', who could represent anything in our society, like LOVE, kindness and a sense of belonging.. to bring him back to life.. back to who he really is. And btw.. he does not bite the interviewer.. she is his gateway to heaven (whatever she might represent).. and she will be watching every little step that he takes…. do you get the message?
There is a reason Dimash chose these lyrics! They are very specific! Read every line that he sings very carefully.. right from the beginning.. as if you were society yourself singing... and you will discover the true meaning!
Are you sometimes feeling alone society?
Are you making your way down south to the river of life.. with chains all around you.. you've been lost for an eternity.. looking for freedom.
You're not gonna lie.. it hurts this time.. because you're feeling alone on that side.. you'll come back to life when you've got something to LIVE for.
You never knew in your life there was salvation!
And when you find it.. it will be your gateway to heaven.
But take heed my society friend.. she will be watching every little step that you take!

ye. great points. I really don't want to be those generic reaction creators, they rarely discuss anything deeper. So I just start videos with me talking, so people who don't care about analysis would just click away.

    • @petesmith5500

@@TPACasual Yes.. most reaction creators never discuss the message Dimash is trying to deliver.. and that is tragic when you think of the positive reflections it could render to society in general. They highlight his singing prowess, his technical ability and his stage presence.. which by all means is totally spectacular.. but.. there is much more to this man than they could ever imagine. To me he is a prophet.. his voice dances with angels as an unrelenting light reveals his path to musical immortality.. and as an indiscriminate tide swells in his favor.. the world awakens to his brilliance. Thank you for giving Dimash a listen. There is a divine way about him that speaks volumes to all the Gods. Let them hear him.. and let them act on his behalf.. lest this earth become a deserted wasteland of lost hopes.. and lost dreams

For me, In this mini movie I see light and darkness, fantasy and reality, fire and water, old music changing into new style melodies. Dimash always makes us think. His art is never boring. I like that he's adding R&B/gospel/blues/rock to his repertoire. :) This is probably influenced from his recent stay in L.A. I love that he put that old 1915 recording of 'The Flower Duet' in it. The Soprano is Maria Alexandrovna Mikhailova (1864 - 1943) and the Mezzo Soprano is Antonina Ivanovna Panina ( 1870 - 1941). This was from the 1st act of the tragic opera "Lakme" composed by Leo Dilibes. Right, but it's really the personified unconscious version of him that the reporter dreams about, which means in reality he is just very reserved and there is this mystery around him (mystery is always associated with something dark) and her subconscious painted a vampire out the guy.
He could be the nicest guy ever and she had to dream him as a vampire or werewolf haha. But it also reveals his quirky side. I mean who invites a reporter to do a first interview at night in a manor (given the limo his real house probably not small)... and stipulated that she has to be alone etc, all these played a part in her image of him, reflected to us as a dream vampire. But of course the theme of alone smack us in the face. So many ppl feels more alone then ever in a ironic digitally super connected world.

@@thewarriorforever if your point is respect, what do you think Dimash value more, people that now (what he's been famous on YT for 5+ years?) now focus on his growth and message of the song, instead of just be astonished at his vocal ability still. If you think Dimash has developed and matured to wanting his fans to focus more on the message, then I would think the best respect is those that focus on the message right? Especially songs like this where he is not really showing his vocal talents to what we know he can do.
      So
      1) pretty much everyone that watch this already know about this song and his main channel and
      2) if you really want ppl to show more respect to his craft, u would have went to all the reaction videos (except maybe vocal coach) and ask them to focus more/mainly on substance instead of surface level cinematics quality or vocals right? could you point me to some of those comments you made before today, urging reactors to look a bit deeper to the message? Which is real respect and something that Dimash would appreciate at this point of his growth.
He already saturated a good portion of the globe, he also saturated a good portion of niche area on youtube. What you think he values more at this point, people spreading his message and digesting that, or another number to his channel, of which 99.99% ppl who watch Dimash related content already knows on youtube.

didn't think it is needed. every other reaction from vocal coaches covers that part better than I can and he is obviously not focus on his vocal prowess.

Please get to know Dimash's background, his family , his country and his love for his fans ( Dears) before reacting to his music. You tend to judge before he know!

this is a small channel so I try to not ignore any comments but I'm just really confused how to even react to your words. It's like... going to an aquarium and then complain: "sorry, don't like looking at fishes". I literally said at beginning of the video what it is going to be like, and how there are so many reaction videos that serves the purpose you are looking for. So now I'm just confused. Is what I said not clear?

Это не реакцинер. Это комментатор футбольного матча. Ноль эмоций, ноль реакций.
