You have just discovered the most amazing voice to ever walk this planet. And this is not just a subjective statement. This is a fact. Get ready for a rollercoaster. Dimash is perfect in all musical genres - pop, opera, rock, R&B, folk, rap and whatever else you can think of. He is a composer, plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 12 languages, and his range is the whole piano and more. And in every octave he sounds perfect. Dimash is unique. He graduated from the music conservatory with pop and opera singing. He will soon receive his Ph.D. He likes to mix styles and genres, so in one piece you can taste all aspects of his voice. On top of that he is just turn 30. So, a very warm welcome to the madness called Dimash. He is our lovely alien. I have been following him for 6 years. And I will follow him to the end of the world. And after the end. 😁 If he decides to go back to where he came from, I will follow him there too. Have you heard of Ewa Podles and Yma Sumac? Podles died about 10 years ago and had a nine- octave range. She was an opera singer and I had the opportunity to hear hear live. Incredible. Similarly, Yma Sumac had the same. She was born in the Amazon of Peru and learned all her singing from the actual birds and animals around her, so she could sing as low as the growl of panthers, to as high as all kinds of birds. She did operatic arias snd crossover and Peruvian themes. They were amazing singers, but unfortunately, they are just not known by your generation, because they had no media like we have and there was very little music for voices in those ranges. They had to show different ranges in different pieces.
So we can’t say EVER to walk the planet because we don’t know who has sung before. That statement is a fallacy. Sweeping statements often are.
The castrati mostly sang in head voice and you can find one or two recordings of them. Nothing like Dimash.
So it would be more correct to say, however, that Dimash has the widest vocal range of any male singer in recorded history. THAT would be correct. He doesn’t need exaggeration. He’s already too good.

Dimash is not your regular singer. He is very respectful, educated, loving, patriotic, spiritual and humble. He believes he has been given a gift and must work every day, to deserve it. He says his teachers deserve more credit than him. He couldn’t bear to embarrass or disappoint his family or country, He is a peace ambassador, has been presented with an award from the pope, even though he is Muslim and is involved in many charities.

Dimash has absolute or perfect pitch and plays multiple instruments. He is Eurasian, Kazakhstan being close to the Eurasian Pass.
He comes from a family of singers and musicians. Both parents studied music at University in Kazakhstan and is mother (Sveta) is a beautiful soprano and
father (Kanat) is a pop singer.
He was given to his paternal grandparents after birth. This is a Kazak tradition called the gifting of a son.
His parents toured as performers and the gifting of a son allowed him to be raised by his grandparents with the old customs and great musical training from that early age. They raised him solely his first 10 years at which time the entire family moved in together and they continued to raise him, his sister, Raushan, and his still teenager brother, (Mansur)
He was well known in Kazakhstan singing competitions and also in Ukraine and Russia, but he got his huge break when he was invited to be a wild card participant
in the Chinese singoff, I Am Singer. He could not win as he was not Chinese, but he wowed them and then entire world with his performances while there.
He had a massive concert in New York in December 2019 and masses flooded to see him, but they were mostly from other countries flying in for his concert.
After completing his PhD studies he headed to America to study at the L.A. campus of the NY School of Fine Arts. He studied Film Directing. His Masters is in Music Composition. He has at times composed, directed and or produced his own MV?MV videos but not always. He is so massive he has all of his stage clothing
designed and tailored by professionals. He is also a male clothing, jewelry, fine watches and fine automobile model. He just wrapped up a modeling gig for Tiffany Jewelers.
He is kind, honorable, a philanthropist, though he will speak of these things. He still bows to elders and ruling class, a tradition in Kazakhstan.
He does not make albums but youtube has been very good to him.

He is an independent artist, a composer, multi instrumentalist, a genre defying artist who has performs songs in 15 languages, hailed by music experts and vocal coaches as the best technical vocalist. Dimash isn't only the most incredible singer/performer the world has ever seen. With a flawless 7 octave range the ability to sing in any musical style in 15 different languages. Today people fly in from all over the world to see his 3 hr + solo concerts held in huge arenas and stadiums. You have 2 choices:- Either start from the beginning which for Dimash would be his first international appearance on the Chinese TV show "I am a Singer." There’s a lot you sweep aside in your opening statement. Don’t imagine there weren’t others like him. They had wider ranges, but not the media availability, or the vast opportunities to experiment and produce different kinds of music. Not just SING in different languages, which is actually around 20, but having HITS in 14 different languages. What if I told you that singer has sold more albums around the world than anyone else, close to 500,000 million becoming probably the bestselling singer of all time? More than 2,600 Gold and Platinum discs. No, it’s not Michael Jackson or Elton John.
I like to be careful when I speak and introduce a giant talent like Dimash. He doesn’t need my exaggeration. He is his own salesman just by his performances.
Yes, Dimash is amazing and incredible, so far we have yet to see another singer who is able to replicate what he is doing with the same quality and ease from beginning to the end of the songs, it’s like it’s almost impossible to cover some of his songs by any single person on earth, at least not at the moment. Those who are top notch in the high register usually have a mediocre low register and vice versa, those who is great at opera may not be able to do pop,RnB,rock, jazz or blues. Those who have a great mixed may not be good at headvoice. Those who can sing in multiple language may not sing as powerfully. Dimash’s is so much more than just vocal range, no wonder people like to joke about he being an alien 😂👽

Yes, the most recent video of his performance of You Raise Me Up in China just a few months ago is highly recommended. Do be aware that the Dears (Dimash fans) will recommend all his big showy numbers which are absolutely stunning BUT Dimash also has a huge varied repertoire of songs that do not utilize (because it's unnecessary) his large uncanny range of over 7 octaves. He has gorgeous songs that actually showcase his absolute control and varied vocal techniques where you can hear his artistic mastery of producing the most beautiful notes ever heard.
His duets with other artists show his utmost respect for his partner where he tones down to match his partner in order to help showcase their skils and voice. In You Raise Me Up, he is singing with a children's choir and totally reins in his voice so you can hear their sweet voices. Immediately contrast You Raise Me Up with the more spectacular and theatrical Stranger from New Wave in Sochi Russia, Fly Away (very pop) and Ave Maria (neoclassical vocalise) also from New Wave same year 2021. And Ti Amo Cos trio with Aida Garifulina and Lara Fabian in 2019. This will give you a wide variety of genres and presentations of Dimash's total mastery of his voice.
Just remember one thing. You never know what you are going to get with Dimash. He keeps surprising fans who have been following him for 10 years or more. We still don't know what to expect from the next premiere or performance. ❤

Dimash calles his fans "dears". I am definitely a dear, followed him from Düsseldorf in 2022 to Antalya in 2023 and in 2024 I visited Budapest and Istanbul only for his concerts. I have my ticket for Düsseldorf in November 2024. I would follow him to the north pole as well as to Death Valley, because he is AWESOME. You just scratched the surface. Dimash has a beautiful voice and a fabulous stage presence. He is a barytone, a tenor, a countertenor, an alto, a counteralto, male soprano and his range includes all notes on the piano including whistle tones up to G8. His artistry and personality captures your heart and soul - makes life look brighter. His grandparents, parents, teachers, friends and everybody who works with him tells us, that he is kind, humble, funny, playful, very smart and ekstremely dedicated to his work. Music has been his life since early childhood. I am an ordinary guy who just happens to have some moral values - he once said abourt himself. Since 2017 he has had a fantastic career in Asia. He gave big concerts in some European countries and at Barclays Center in New York - but I got to know him via RUclips a couple of months ago. When Dimash sings, he transforms the song into something heavenly, where he makes a spiritual call to the soul and consciousness, and we don't even need to translate because his voice and interpretation transcends any language! Sublime!
We are familiar with the goosebumps caused by Dimash's incredible voice. This is a cover song from the French rock opera "Starmania", written in 1976, 18 years before Dimash was born. I guess it is safe to say this is his signature song. His grandparents found that he had perfect pitch at the age of three. He began his music studies at five, spending half days with academics and the other half studying music. There is so much to be said about Dimash and none would be negative in any way. I suggest that you react to the series of videos called " The Ultimate Dimash Guide." 12 short videos are beginning with when he was a child. There are interviews with teachers, friends, others in the music industry, his parents, interviewers, and Dimash himself. He is so very humble and does not consider himself a star. He still does vocal training for 3-4 hours every day, and once said that if his heart was to be cut open, all you see is music. Dimash "fans" have been names Dears, by Diamsh. This video was actually created as Covid broke. Covid just hit and Diamsh as with others, had to cancel everything. Dimash put this video "Concert" out, which was great, he kept doing even one-song videos just to support and keep in touch. He did a lot actually, Grops set themselves up and would create videos with them singing his works. He also went around in his own country supporting people and in his town, he took food parcels etc around to help people out. a very humble young man with a very big heart. Recognises that he has been given wonderful resources, and is very grateful.

Dimash Qudaibergen (Dinmukhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen) was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall.
Dimash is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, video director, screenwriter and entrepreneur who has received the title of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan (2019), People's Artist of Kazakhstan (2023) and many other significant awards around the world.
Dimash Qudaibergen was very fortunate to be born into musical 'royalty'. Grandfather was a professional dombra player, grandmother was a teacher and sang. His mother Svetlana Aitbayeva has a classical education (not opera singer). His father, Kanat Aitbayev, is also a singer, songwriter and producer. His parents are known throughout the country and are “Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan”. Both have been seen on the big stages and on television in Kazakhstan for many years.

According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash grew up with his grandparents. He calls them mom and dad and for a long time thought his parents were brother and sister-in-law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: "Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
Dimash wasn't a child prodigy, but he always wanted to be a musician and grew up surrounded by music. As a young boy (2 years old) he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run onto the stage when they bowed at the end, and he did the same. While other children drew cars or princesses, Dimash drew a music studio and the instruments.

In his childhood, Dimash trained in taekwondo. He achieves his enormous lung capacity through targeted swimming and diving training, he dribbles very well with a football - ruclips.net/video/kt_lokOZLWw/видео.html and because his dears are important to him, he even takes additional dance lessons. Dimash's role models include Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and most importantly Michael Jackson.
He has been making music since he was 5 years old and has a perfect pitch. He has university degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music and jazz with a major in singing. Dimash did not fit into the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was heavily criticized. Even his singing teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (interview with his first singing teacher - ruclips.net/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/видео.html ... but Dimash was undeterred.
As a child he performed at concerts and took part in various competitions. In 2012, Dimasch won the Grand Prix of Kazakh young singers “Schas Kanat” (“Young Wings”). In the same year he received first prize in the Ukrainian TV competition “Vostochnyi Bazaar” (Oriental Market), and a year later he won first place in the Kyrgyz international festival “Making Asia”. In 2015, Dimasch won the Grand Prize of the Belarusian music festival “Slavyansky Bazaar” (Slavic Market) - a milestone in the young singer's career.
The career jump to global megastar came in January 2017 after his participation in the Chinese singing competition “The Singer”.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. He created his own genre: neo-classical combined with classical, folklore and other styles like pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We lay people say “Popera”. Dimash not only sings in all genres, in some of his own compositions he brilliantly combines a wide variety of genres and styles and never ceases to amaze us dears. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandios and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano), 7,7 octaves! At least the Dimash shows us so far. 😃

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify. They are not only limited to the enormous range of over seven octaves and the mixture of all musical genres, but it is also the incredible command of his voice and the ability to touch people emotionally and surprise them again and again. Such skills are very rare and can only be acquired, maintained and perfected through relentless and never-ending training.

Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink iced drinks and he doesn't like socks. He loves fire and water on stage, of course only as stage sets. 🤣
A dear once gave him knee pads, but Dimash says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃

Dimash has a worldwide following with fans (Dears) willing to travel the globe to see him live. I have been to 4 concerts so far with, hopefully, another 2 in November.
This song is from a 1970's rock opera called Starmania. Many have sung it, but never like Dimash. He went viral overnight when he sang this on a Chinese competition in 2017. He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist with a 7.7 octave range and he sings in 14+ languages even though he only speaks 2 languages fluently, Kazakh & Russian. He is getting better with English now too & is still learning Mandarin Chinese.

Not only can Dimash beautifully sing, compose and arrange music, he’s also an excellent instrumentalist, playing piano, dombra (a lute-like instrument from his native Kazakhstan) and others.
You might be interested to know that he also enjoys playing drums - although he says he’s never had a lesson and isn’t very good (untrue) - and tries to grab the opportunity to play them in his concerts when he can!

Actually, this is moderately old in terms of where Dimash has gone since then. This was a digital show put on during CoVid, when Dimash couldn't tour. He has only gotten better since this time (believe it or not.)

Hard work & God Given talent, that’s our Dimash. Please react next to Stranger, Sinful Passion, or Blizzard Again & Cranes Cry which he sang at the Slavianski Bazaar competition when he was 14 or 15 years old. Then 2 years later after singing SOS at the I Am Singer Chinese competition he became famous. He woke up to find 2 bodyguards at his door. 2 million Chinese fans overnight after singing that song. Kudos to the Chinese fans, they are the first & the original DEARS. That’s what Dimash calls his fans, that crosses the oceans to attend his concerts. He’s got lots of stuff from 2017 - either from I am Singer or his first solo concert Bastau - all live! You get a great appreciation of how great he was then & how much he’s grown - physically, dynamically & emotionally. SOS has been part of his repertoire since he was 18 (or younger), he’s been perfecting it ever since & also sings it at every concert. Hold on, it’s a WILD ride!!
