What if the lord is the restricting and structured Saturn, or the ruler of the 7th house of partnerships which also is in scorpio btw? And exactly what you said how would this play out when there are two mature people; with one of them having lots of Aries (Mars ruled), Mars in Cancer and Sun opposite Pluto, with a partner who has Pluto conjunct Sun in Scorpio (Mars ruled) and a lot of other Scorpio placements? ….they both crave this intensity and WILL be balanced throughout life in their connection …. When people don’t have such placements, it can go really really bad, because they can’t (and won’t) deal with such deep levels of obsession and passions, even in themselves.
