I definitely experience frizzy roots. I'm just about to give up and except it. I deep condition every wash day which is once a week. I tried the cherry lola treatment and that was too much of a mess. My curls popped root to tip but once I rinsed it out I was back to being puffy. 🤷🏾♀️

@PowerInYourCurl and you're right there's nothing like running your hands through your hair, right now I'm really trying to focus on my hair growth because it is falling out due to so much going on in life, so I'm gonna try the AYURVEDIC method.
When your hair is falling out that's when you have never been more in love with your hair before cause you want to keep it.
And you'll do whatever it takes to keep your natural hair

Hey Kenya! I feel you! Still to this day the Curl Origin is the best at really penetrating and moisturizing my hair! I’ve dibbed and dabbed in products over the last year and i always go back to curl origin! For protein moisture , I’ve settled on soultanicals. It is just amazing for my hair but i love everything you recommend so i really want to try this ! My hair has grown so long! You would be so proud as my coach!

It's so funny because I was looking back through your older videos and I didn't realize some of them were 3 years old. And I ordered everything that you suggested especially the almond oil!!! Then I saw more recent video and you said that you don't use it anymore, lol but at least most of the products were still on the list so I think I did pretty good 😊

The thing I love most about being natural is how genuine and authentic my curly hair makes me feel ! Yes I have to keep my curls moisturized, but I don’t have to go the extra mile to add heat and straighten every single wash day like when I had a perm.
My hair is alway frizzy, but I love it actually 😍! But I agree, hydration is KEY 🔑! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
Love that my fine hair looks so full and vibrant in its natural state. When permed/straightened it has zero personality :-/. Love also the information sharing and community building around natural hair....it starts with hair but so often it becomes a catalyst for so much more in terms of self-love, acceptance and personal growth.

I love, love the versatility of my hair. Before my hair journey I believed that my hair had to be relaxed in order to look presentable. Well, my hair is a lot longer and healthier than it has ever been! I am very happy that chicken out during my transitioning phase🙂
@songofsynergy what I love most about being natural is learning to embrace my own natural beauty. I used to straighten my hair every single day and it would fall out until my hair was so short I couldn’t do anything with it. Ever since becoming natural I’ve developed a new found love and respect for me and my hair.

What I love most about my natural hair... that’s a great question that I’ve been thinking a lot about over my ten-year journey. When I first big chopped, I felt free, calm, scared, disappointed, and in love, all at the same time! For the first time, my hair length didn’t matter to me at all; I just loved the texture. That’s the first thing I love about my hair; I love feeling the texture; I feel closer to the universe every time I touch my hair. Even on my worst hair days, I still find beauty in my dry kinky strands.
The second thing I love about my hair is how I can do almost anything with it; I have had blue, pink, orange, yellow, and red hair. I even shaved my head before I started college; these fun experiments helped me take back control of my hair. I honestly always tried to do what was “acceptable,” but going natural In 2010 was not easy or “accepted.” My own grandmother told me I looked homeless and to get a relaxer🤣🙈! I love that my hair is the reason I’m no longer living for what everyone else thinks is “Attractive.” My hair is not what makes me attractive; it is what helps me express and show my inner truth.
The third reason I love my hair is; I never thought I would be able to grow long hair, my hair was long as a child, but after relaxing it, I never gained that length back. After years of taking care of my hair and seeing how much length I retained, I finally realized I could grow my hair to any length. My ex guy friend once laughed at my hair goal of Bra strap length. He said black women couldn’t grow their hair that long; I reached bra Strap length in about 3-4 years of being natural even with all of my hair fails! He was wrong 😇! I love seeing the length because it reminds me not to listen to ignorance. I’m currently on a “no cutting” journey (lol); every time I reach waist length, I cut my hair. I have decided to let my hair grow to floor-length; it will take a few years, but I’m excited about the journey and to see how much shrinkage I have once I reach my goal. I come from a long line of long hair women; my great grandmother had floor-length hair until she died, my mom had tail bone length hair, my uncle grew his hair to waist length before he died, and he used to hate my relaxed hair 😂; I wish he could see me now 😝😏. I said all of that to say; I have no idea why I let others and myself brainwash me into thinking BSL was impossible (lol).
Anyway💗, those are three reasons I can think of right now; I’m so grateful to be able to have the freedom to enjoy my natural hair. Thank you for sharing this conditioner; it looks incredible, and I hope you enjoyed my novel 😅☺️.

Love it! I have a similar long line of long hair. I wish I could tell ladies when they stress and hurt over length. It really isn't everything. I get it I really do but personally my journey has a lot to do with doing my best at every stage, making it work, working hard, learning all the things I may have to know for later.
I feel like length is just a matter of waiting. I may have the length but you'd never know cz it takes skills to wear out!

What hooded dryer do you use? I'm in search of a new one & have been researching & reading reviews on some.
My hooded dryer is from Red by Kiss. I purchased it from Walmart years ago for about $40-50.
Happy 2021. I was so excited to make the purchase, but unfortunately she is not shipping internationally at this time. It is getting really hard to get products from the States at the minute. I think Curl Origins ships to the UK. Need to double check that!

I've been natural my whole life but I never fully embraced my curls until 2015. I kept my hair straight all the time in college.. its actually a miracle my hair was still intact. Lol.. It took a lot of learning and embracing my curly hair texture. Since embracing my curls, I'm seeing all of the growth and how healthy my hair is now. I still have a lot of learning to do, but it was totally worth it embracing my curls and letting them shine. I love my big beautiful mane❤ @Sheenaroberson1012
✨@justmagally on IG✨ I've been searching for a good strengthening and moisturizing deep conditioner! 🤩 ☺️What I love most about my natural hair is that it helps me put life and its challenges in perspective. 💡 When I first started my natural hair journey I would look at those with healthy, defined, long, and shiny curls and think that I would never be able to get to that point with my hair, but I chose to love my natural hair regardless and stay consistent with my regimen. With that love and persistence I was able to hit most of those milestones😍. So now when I feel overwhelmed in life, I remember my natural hair and choose to love the journey ahead with persistence, knowing that in the end I'll look back from the finish line with pride and joy. 🥰
All this time (years) I been deep conditioning i. Heard don’t focus deep conditioner or conditioner on the roots but focus on the ends .. maybe tht was the issue 😦

Yes!!! Happy birthday to me!! This video is right on time. Two (out of four) of my children and I have fine hair and I have yet to find the deep conditioner we need so I end up making my own. Looks like those days are over 😅. Seeing and loving how God made me and my children is the best part of being natural. I can't wait to try this product; especially on my youngest daughter's hair.
