For anyone watching this video, this run is particularly safe for characters at level 40. If you're aiming to earn gold or level up beyond 45, try to avoid safe spots as much as possible to complete runs in 5-7 minutes. In that scenario, the gold or XP earned per hour would be remarkable.
i struggling about 2-3 hours lol and cant make it. always dismounted or mobs just kill me. So im find a little different way with 2 fake deaths and invis potion in zone at 2:05. Sometimes feign death resisted, but thats better than waiting cd of invis when you use it at the start and something gone wrong in the middle of pass. Thanks for vids!
Yeah, I understand. Generally, for anyone new here, it's best to reach at least level 42-43 so you can actually use 'Feign Death'. It's great that you found your own way to do it! 😄
@@TheRatchetGoblinretry at 44 - all goes clean and smooth. First try and believe or not, droped card that selling on my server for 800g lol. Hope that all my luck dont wasted on that run :D
did they change these mobs for sod? traditionally these mobs are not immune to slow... as i use to level from 38-50 on my mage doing this run as frost with blizzard.
Yes they did, In Season of Discovery (SOD), these zombies have undergone significant changes. They've developed immunity to slowing effects and now sprint much faster than before within moments of entering combat.
the slow changes been implemented a few years ago i believe on some version of classic and are in here too, with living flame and bomb its still faster than the original way with blizzard tho
u can use the boxes as any race, u just need to /sit or/sleep to fully LoS the mobs then sit there till they de aggro edit: the actual reset spot is in the middle of the two boxes for the mobs that r right next to you to de aggro
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I've attempted various strategies to deal with the troll, but none seem to be effective, even when using two boxes at level 40. (sleep, sit, etc)
doesnt work on some races/the spot for it to work is infinitely harder to hit, on gnomes its actually hader to not reset bc they so small, deviate delight makes this much much much easier for horde races same with some jumps only work on some races like the uldaman solo farm is pretty hard on female undead bc their jumps suck but other races have it easier
this is cool. I did see a mage video from a month ago as well using fire bomb or something and absolutely destroying about twice as fast as this. I still think hunter is more fun than mage though
I didn't do this run for gold. In general, you won't aim for gold at level 40 since the rotation changes when you reach level 50. At level 50, you basically complete this dungeon in 6 minutes and defeat the enemies as they come to the top. Anyways, the gold per each run is almost 6-8 gold without considering any valuable BOE drops. So, basically at level 50, it's 30-40 gold per 30-40 minutes, and you will hit the cap.
The lower your level, the fewer XP you gain per hour, as you need to utilize every safe spot possible. Initially, it's more like 200-300k XP/hr, but after reaching level 45, you may achieve 6-minute runs, like I do now. In that case, XP/hr would be over 430k
@@newt0n_ A big downside of ZF is the time it takes for you to reach the dungeon, which is almost 2 minutes after each reset. If you also consider the time you spend selling your stuff and accidentally dying, you probably won't hit the lockout, or it will be small, which is necessary to get some rest, I believe.
ty but what a pain at lvl 40 to learn the tactic xD. 1. try: dismounted from a melee = dead...2. try: cd on my invis potion so i tryd to ride on the mount to the safe spot = no way and dead :P / 3. try:got it to the boss, open all the graves, pulled the boss and...damn i pulled also a range mob cause i was in panic mode and those range mob killed me with his bow... ok no matter...4. try: did it again to the boss and WTF !!! forgot to reset the dungeon and all the mobs from the graves said HELLO to me = dead ... no i´m at my 5th try xD
Haha, I totally get where you're coming from. I've been through similar mishaps myself, although my prior experience with my mage helped me grasp it a bit quicker. But you're absolutely right, reaching level 42 seems to make soloing it three times easier, even for skilled players. Hang in there, you'll nail it soon!
Raw gold isn't much, almost 6g per run or 30GPH, though I got an epic which is worth a pretty penny. By the way, at level 50, this dungeon is just insanely easy with a hunter and mage, so the gold will come very easily.
The way I discovered it works is like a spell. If you're at a lower level, you're likely to miss all the time (unless you are too far and out of line of sight). When you're at a higher level, it almost never fails as well.

what is slow trap not work?
It works when you pull zombies at the start, but after a few seconds of entering combat, they become immune.

u cant skip box because of taller char
where is the gold coming from? half of them are dead on the slope and u end up looting like 8 mobs

How much gold per run?
same question
Off just the mobs probably not much. You can make alot from power leveling tho. I would guess atleast 15g per person per run

why you just not play mage if u want run zf like this? XD
hunter does it a lot faster at 50 :D literally 4 mins a run, kill phase takes only 2-3 mins :P

You could prob kill them much faster with different spec. No point in running BM when you arent using a pet.

So which hunter did more dps than you to be so salty? It's not that deep bro, it's just a class in 20 year old game, they're all for noobs.
