I play both, and here’s the breakdown: Mage definitely takes a lot of skill to play well, especially if you want to dominate in PvP-it requires quick reflexes and strong decision-making to handle tougher matchups. On the other hand, Warlock feels like a powerhouse; it’s essentially a tanky caster that can handle most classes in open-world PvP unless the opponent is really skilled. Warlocks also have some powerful tools for dueling that give them an edge in less-than-fair fights. So, overall, Mage can be more fun but is definitely more challenging to master, while Warlock is powerful and resilient but can be less rewarding skill-wise.

Not every match I play is my best-I may be stressed or forget something; nobody performs perfectly every time. Often, it might look like I’m doing nothing, but I’m actually spamming Life Tap. You might not know this, but with two pieces of Nemesis gear, Life Tap can deal 200-300 damage based on the target’s health (and it doesn’t damage me). In some fights, I was just having fun, like when I faced those rogues and the priest. I knew those rogues didn’t stand a chance against me, especially with an armor potion-it wasn’t my first fight against them. (Edit: Felguard is the best pet against physical damage dealers and also it has tons of health, Of course, I switch to Felhunter if I need to.)

Hey, I have my pet attack bound to E so I can manually switch targets-like taking out shaman totems in duels. Some talents I chose just to unlock the last and most essential talent, Soul Link, which is what really makes the Warlock tanky. The Felguard is the most powerful pet if you don’t need silence or dispel; it also benefits from all the bonuses granted to other demons. So, if you use a Felguard, you’ll receive all the perks from Master Demonologist.

In general, I’m using full PvP Rank 13 gear, with Nemesis tank set pieces for the wrist and belt. This setup lets me use Life Tap without taking damage when enemies are within 30 yards-and I can deal 200-300 damage to them with each Life Tap! Though, in some fights in the video, I was in dungeon gear since I was headed to a dungeon and don’t really have PvE gear, hehe. I’ll be making a guide on the Soul Link build soon, so stay tuned!

Yeah, I do the same. This Boomie was so convinced I couldn’t beat him without Fear and potions, but I didn’t have any consumables at all.

Yeah, this Boomie messaged me through his friend on the Horde side, asking for a ‘fair’ duel and telling me not to use Fear. Meanwhile, his rogue friend was lurking, ready to gank me anyway!

After several runs, you'll hardly ever die, and the gold per hour (GPH) is insane-easily +200 GPH, no contest. If you disenchant green items with an alt (only needs to be level 5), your GPH will climb even higher. You can do this with any gear as long as you have the rune, but the kill phase will take a bit longer. For example, I'm running it in 7-8 minutes with dungeon gear, while my guildie, who's raid-geared, finishes in just 5 minutes per run.

Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it. To reset the raid, pass the leader to someone else and then go offline. The other person needs to reset the raid while you're offline. Alternatively, to do it with one account, ask someone to invite both your hunter and your alt (on the same account) into a group. Once they're grouped, they can leave, leaving you and your alt in the raid group. When you're ready to reset, go offline and log into your alt. After about a minute, leadership will automatically transfer to your alt since your main is offline, allowing you to reset the raid. As for the pet, I sometimes body-pull too, but with Dive active, you can usually pass through them without getting much hit."

You're right, this fix actually happened in Season of Mastery. The mobs become immune to slow effects after a few seconds. If you check my video, during the kill phase, some mobs get slowed by my Freezing Trap while others don’t. After some time in the kill phase, they all become immune.

​@@TheRatchetGoblin We now pull one pack at a time and kill them quickly, it only takes us a small amount of time to kill them, so overall with a mage in Frost the time to kill all the packs is around 12-15 minutes, which is fine.

That’s actually solid! As long as you can squeeze in close to 5 runs per hour, it’s pretty much BIS for efficiency. 👍

If you play on retail it became mostly irrelevant on which faction you play outside qued dungeons and bgs. You can do any other thing with the opposing faction
