I want to mention that you can sometimes buy Unbreakable gathering tools for Black Lion Statuettes (45 statuettes per tool). So you CAN actually get unbreakable tools for free if you like doing map completions or don't mind key farming each week. 135 black lion statuettes for a full set of unbreakable tools.
1. springer (end goal skyscale) 2. caladbolg (ascended weapon that does not require gold spend on it, only 1-2 hours after finishing heart of thorns) 3. spicy pumkin cookies and sharpening skulls (60% magic find + 25% xp gain from kills) 4. any ascended amulet from master achievement rewards that is infused with either +15% karma, 20% experience from kills or 20% magic find. (don't have to spend gold either, just time and LAURELS) not endgame goals but these are the most valuable things i can think of if i were to include all players. especially if you are a new player, these are godsend.
@@monalisa-bs4zs most of us don't play that way, because we enjoy actually playing the game and _earning_ something instead of just using the legendary item "Mom's Credit Card of Instant Gratification"
I know this is two years late but it's cheaper to buy a bag slot expansion in the gem store (currently 180g) and slot a 20 slot bag on it (currently 12g), while crafting a reinforced boreal trunk costs 290g.
Unpopular opinion, but Permanent Merchant just simply turn the game experience even better. Just sell those junks on the go, be it WvW or in the middle of meta, I don't have to run all the way to an outpost. And all my characters can just get gathering tools from whenever if they run out, no need for unbreakable ones. And it is not that expensive compared to other perma contracts. It is probably the best middle income player upgrade can have after copper salvage.
I'm actually quite surprised at its relative cheapness, but wouldn't getting a permanent lounge pass kinda be the same? I've not really ever found myself in desperate need of a vendor, especially during an instance, where it couldn't wait to go to a lounge and then back to where you were
@@Wakajce you have to leave instance, something I cant afford when im busy in fractals, peak hours FROG tangled depths meta, or WvW being fully queued.
"...for a player at that level" I am at that level but what is holding me back is just gold. I've been trying to grind the gold for more expensive items, but i can't seem to do it. At almost 1300g at the moment and it is the highest amount i ever had. I feel i will never get those contracts or 32 slot bags :(
Question how can someone sell their gift of exploration? I got like 2 laying around from core and since im not interested in any of the weapons i was looking for maybe something else to do with them.
One way ive heard about them being "traded" is essentially someone gives you the materials + some form of payment to craft a legendary weapon which requires the gift of exploration, you craft it and send it to them.
I did not understand half of the things you are talking about here, because I am playing for less than a month. Does it mean I shouldn't worry about them yet? :-)
Yes, these aren't very important to you as a new player right now. These are for players that are already far into the game and should have some of these quality of life items
All of these items are non-consumable. What about consumables? Skale venom from Iron Marches or the order of whispers stealth kit from the south east of Caledon forest come to mind.
Probably because he doesn't need anything from laurels anymore right now, have you seen how much T6 and such he have? + the gold since he's a trader is nothing to him

what about griffon?
little tip for the breakable volatile gathering tools, best place to buy them is dragonfall as you don't need to do a heart to buy them
A great free 32 slot bag is seasons of Dragons achievement. You even get a legendary necklace if complete it all.
Working on getting full Legendary gear atm. Your inventory full of T6 mats hurts my soul xD
I feel you since i am doing same thing 😂
Not hard to buy gold and materials.

Maybe endless choya piñata tonic for speeding through some areas? Not a must but helpful at times.
I like the editing here, well done mm.
"32 slot bags and it's still a mess" that was funneh.
I really wish Supreme Runes had a source other than ecto gambling. Even if the drop rate was low....something.

I just use Collector's Edition Sandstorm. If you only need the sell tab. Obtainable via Legendary Sandstorm Player Achievement
nice list, Guildmm. I'd add peppermint omnomberry bars, Homemade campfire treats, and Chocolate omnomberry creams. Everyone should have 'em if they're farming.
Are we going to talk about that level 4 character with more than 8k gold in their bags ?
Nah, I said enough.
This is GuildMM, 8k gold to him is like pennies is to us

There are also the volatile gathering tools that give volatile magic with each use, but those are only accessed in certain expansion maps.

Haha yep

Omg the amount of money in the bags at 8:57..... like 30 250 stacks of every T6 material. Damn.........................

I'm a trader
What is the spinning blade glider skin??

Technically, everything is a non-gem store item, because you can convert gold to gems
You still buy them in the Gem Store. With gems.

I mean, the gem store is not a cash store, you can easly bu gems for gold. The exchange isn’t that expensive so yeah
