I retired in 2016 after 5 1/2 decades of driving, watching these videos does 2 things for me. 1 I’m glad I got off the road when I did, and 2, the quality of drivers out there today has really gone downhill. I’m sure there are still lots of good, conscientious drivers out there, but judging from how many of these bad driver are shown on RUclips there just seem to be more and more all the time.

Few years back. I came upon one of those big pile ups during a snow storm one winter. I got it slowed down and almost just about stopped when I came up to the wreck. I then got absolutely clobbered by 4 other trucks that were going way too fast. I then bought a CB radio after this. Another big wreck happened sometime after and I was off the highway and parked long before I got to it.

Great Video’s Ike! With all these videos out there, you’d think that drivers would be more professional and safer. These clips are of steering wheel holders who shouldn’t be driving a shopping cart, let alone an 80,000 lb projectile!!! I’ve had a few minor issues, but I was taught by an old timer back 40 years ago when the industry was growing. People like these give the industry a bad reputation and are only concerned about themselves and nobody else! It’s very sad what’s happening in this country right now. They’re importing these people with little to no skills and try to teach them something new and exciting. But they forget to teach them about road etiquette and professionalism!!! God Help Us ALL!!!!

I don't have anything against people who don't speak English. But I noticed more and more when I was otr a lot of drivers didn't or spoke very little. Since then, I drove local (semi), then motorcoaches (tourists). Now I drive transit. Roughly 90% of the people I encounter DO NOT speak English. These are local people (not tourists) who I take to and fro to work on a daily basis. Things are changing really fast in this country.....

I've got a GPS, phone, company tablet. Qualcomm, drivewise, dash indicators with horns, video mirrors, spy camera. How dare you suggest I be distracted by your damn CB radio!😅😅
U can get 30 minute break while fueling pretty easy without stalling the line, figure 10 minute waiting in line, 10 minute fueling, 10 minute on Payline while in store, other combinations are possible of course.
I don't know why the truck stop doesn't call tow trucks to remove these trucks blocking fuel islands.

Something I just thought of watching The Warner truck try to back up. Why is it all trucks don't have backup cameras on the trailers and the screen in the trucks? It's 2024 all cars and SUVs have backup cameras and screens in the cars why do the tractor trailers not have them?
