It takes more than a few months experience to know where to drive in and to safely back out. I rather be out on the road with drivers that know where and how to nose in and back out than you any day.

I am starting too believe these drivers forget they are pulling 53FT trailers. They get comfortable on the Hwy and driving straight for 8, 9 or 10 hrs then when its time too turn, back up and maneuver around things they forget what they are pulling
I finally figured it out those drivers that put the trailer in the ditch on the driver's side is they have those sun screens pulled down so they can see were there trailer is

I love the 'snowy roads' to the problem is how people drive on them. and when drivers attempt a turn the footage here convinces me that they don't know their trucks and don't know how to use their mirrors.
Just earlier in Dallas on 30 this idiot four wheeler tried to speed up to get in front off me, I was looking at him cause I knew that he was going to hit the truck in front of him so I pulled over to the shoulder and kept on trucking. Traffic is probably still backed up.
1st guy: thats idaho just north of the utah state line, i bet he missed his fuel stop and didnt want to run out of fuel because next truck stop is like 70 miles north.

I wish DOT and Highway patrol would still be doing it like back in the late 80's when I was an owner operator, Minn scales where they had jail cells under the scale house and it never closed, anywhere in Ohio, Mich Highway Troopers, Texas when the Troopers walked up to someone pulled over with one hand on their weapon most always.

Then i make sure i take my 10 hr reset at the fuel island and grab myself 15 showers and 40 CHEESEBURGERS AND SODIE WATERS, after that i go to the scales and weight and park my truck in front to go grab my breakfast too.
I was traveling through waskom TX on the way to the Dallas area. Looks like a really nasty town. You ought to put up a bonehead truck stop there. That one driver when off roading make sure when going forward do goal. If he stopped both lanes should be impeeding traffic. I passed somewhat similar Amazon in the wrecker yard. The front end caught fire. Do they say something happened to everyone shipment or they are so fast here you go.
Truck Driving School needs to teach them that 18 wheelers are NOT 4x4s lol. Some drivers, needs to order your t-shirt "Swing Wide It's A Frickin Trailer", just to remind themselves lol 🤣. Nose in on certain parking spots, so their not blocking other drivers. It takes common sense. Or go buy a plot of land and park your truck any way you want.

You're absolutely right about today's Truck Driving Schools. I'll be retiring from the trucking industry in August 2025 permanently. Too much technology (E-logs) and government (FMCSA) controlled. The 14 consecutive hour rule puts truckers on a time clock system, compared to the 15 non-consecutive hour rule, meant truckers can work on/off up to 70hrs a week or drive up to 10 hours a day. You probably already know this.

The real truckers do a great job. It's the Bonehead Truckers that gives the industry a bad name. They don't want to learn the industry. I've got 34+ years and a great driving record. Learning is the key to success.
