- Harrison Butker Graduation Commencement Speech Highlights with Reaction. Harrison Butker graduation speech at Benedictine College was the biggest story in the media this week. Harrison Butker is the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs and they won the Super Bowl this year. He was giving the commencement speech Benedictine College which is a Catholic university. Butker is a committed Catholic himself who stands unapologetically and boldly for conservative values. One part of speech went viral in which he suggested that women find more fulfillment through getting married and having children than by pursuing careers - directly after quoting a song by Taylor Swift. So i am going to do a Harrison Butker reaction video and give comments on his best points. I am going to give a Harrison Butker speech highlights video. This caused the NFL to immediately issue a statement distancing itself from Butker. All sort of media outlets followed with rebukes of Butkers speech. Harrison Butker Benedictine speech brought a media storm. But the media storm backfired because Harrison Butker’s number 7 jersey became one of the top selling jersey in the whole league. I believe this points to the fact that country to popular opinion that the everyday people really long for leaders to take bold stands for faith and to speak up on controversial issues. It actually a breath of fresh air for people. The people made his $129.99 jersey a top seller in the whole NFL league. So this video will be a Harrison Butker commencement speech reaction. He addressed many controversial issues: gender roles between man and woman, diversity and inclusion, LBGTQ, Joe Biden, Abortion, political issues and issues in the church.

I am so grateful that my little fellowship is helping support the National Father's Initiative. These are men being mentored by other fathers on what the father's role is. I get to take them a meal every week and converse with them. I, having, had a father who was killed on the job when I was 4, know the impact my dad had on me. I greeted him every night when he came home from work. Though this loss had an impact, it also left a fond memory. How beautiful a speech and pray for this to impact and give others courage to speak out. Thanks Joshua for your boldness to take a stand and the encouragement you are being to so many! Blessings 😊

I was highly encouraged but also found this very confronting as I work out my salvation in fear and trembling.
We as Christians have to trust in Christ and His promises. We are to pray for boldness to confront the evil of this world in expressing the Truth in love and being compassionate as our Saviour was, whilst being mindful of the consequences that such actions may bring upon us or our family.
As a member of a Reformed church I am becoming increasingly encouraged by the boldness I find in many young Roman Catholics that know what they believe and why they believe it, their biblical knowledge and commitment to their faith in Christ brings shame on many evangelicals even in my own church. It begins with us men bringing our bodies a living sacrifice unto God bringing the light to our own homes, our families and our communities.

I really appreciate your support Andrew. You have no idea.
I like what he said. I love his morals. It needs to be heard in the great congregations. I love his view on women and families and men! I especially love that he boldy spoke of the importance of staying at home and caring for the children and home; and publicly praised his wife.
Society needs to hear this. And he spoke that Churches need to have genuine and qualified believers for leaders and to teach truth. He spoke such important truths and that is wonderful!
However it's not okay to call any person holy father, and plus
people also need to hear the gospel because many folks think they are saved when they are not. Also only the gospel will get people saved and with a new heart.
Willpower fails to change hearts.
And a new heart is necessary for changed behaviour. Will power won't change hearts. People must be born again and faith comes by hearing the word of God..
However he gave a great speech concerning the unacceptable standards in society and the need for change. God bless him!

Ironically, Harrison Butker reportedly attended the same "Stronger Men" conference that Mark Driscol recently attended. However, HB is not like MD (who started out bold in his stand against the Jezebel spirit, but then wilted and backed off in cowardice when he faced blow back from recognized religious leaders.) Here's a man of courage and truth, who obviously loves Jesus Christ and follows him. I don't have to share his theology or views on all issues to call this man my brother, whom I deeply respect.

I think what he was saying was we will be sanctified through our marriage
He is not making clear what salvation is. He is confusing the issue to the congregations and the world at large, who will eagerly believe every word he said because of the speech he gave and their hunger for morals and stability.
But it's all grasping at thin air unless They believe in and trust and obey Jesus. Unless they hear the gospel of Christ crucified. They don't know what some people may think he meant. They only know what he said, and it's sinks into their unconsciousness and sticks.

Jesus made it clear if we obey Him we are His mother and brethren. That is the criteria

Jesus called many people blessed. It has nothing to do with giving glory and honour to them, praying to them or worshipping them; and they can't hear millions of people on earth anyway. They can't hear even one person.
Mary is the created. She didn't make Jesus. He made her. She is the sinner and Jesus is the Saviour. She had the great privilege of being His mom even though Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Not her.

I totally understand my friend since I have many friends that are Catholic. But evangelicals believe Catholics believe this so I must refute that or I will get dozens of comments about it
I've heard them worship Mary and pray to saints.
