      I do not think Bethel are fakes. Just a bit misguided. They have some practices that need to be called out publicly so the people can see real fruit. They are good people.

    You are absolutely right on about the Charismatics checking the mind at the door. That's why I've gravitated to Derek Prince's approach to teaching. He regularly called out Charismatics.

    Amen brother I agree with everything you have said though I have never been to a seminary and I have always thought that the more I read and pray the more of the word of the Lord I digest and understand and just as some churches teach I think that with the Holy spirit we can keep the commandments it's only a matter of understanding most of them are plain and simple like don't steal or want something someone else has but the fourth commandment even those who say they keep it don't really keep it and I understand that some people have to work on Saturday but I thank the Lord I don't but nowhere does it say it is a day of fellowship and because we worship God every day it's not a single day of worship but as it is written the seventh day God rested and sanctified it so it was a day made for man to rest and remember the Holiness of God so I don't go out and I don't touch money ( if you have a Bible on your phone you can type in Sabbath and read for yourself) the Jews keep the Saturday but ignore the meaning and go out, now you can say that Jesus went to the synagogue on the Sabbath and I will say yes but Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and that the synagogue is where those that hated him were ( religious Jews) and you can say Jesus fulfilled the law or that we are only to keep the two great commandments but if we are to keep the first great commandment then we keep the commandments of the father if we love him that much ( as Jesus said man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the father). So anyway after thinking about you praying for a decent church for me to go well tomorrow being sunday I will go to a Presbyterian church because it is probably the least changed and I don't want to go to a rock and roll show or a weak fluffy almost gay service so I don't have much choice I will try and see also my friends will probably come just because I support them by being there when I'm needed and treating them like brethren so it should be interesting pray for me brother I'm hoping for a strong Male preacher like Derick prince

    Thank you as always for calling the charismatic to order, of which I am one. Pastor Joshua, can you kindly explain the difference between charismatic and evangelical protestants. And where do the pentecostal fit into that. If you have some material, I'll be grateful if you could point me in that direction. Thank you so much.

  • @delwoodkelp8590

    Of the three, Mike Bickle is the ONE... very solid theologically.
    Bickle claims to have had several encounters with God, including hearing the audible voice of God and being taken to heaven twice. Right up there with Jessie Duplantis and Kevin Zadai. Zadai on the upswing. I love his nearly weekly conversations with God.
    Audiences simply love his tales.

    I like your other videos but not this one. You are creating a straw man with Bill Johnson's comment here. He's not against the return of Christ. He's just pushing against the doom and gloom eschatology of Charismatics. A Theology called Dispensationalism invented in the 1800s that ironically is also Cessationist.
    But just because you don't like Bill's more optimistic eschatology don't go branding his teaching false.

    • @TornCurtainIJoshuaSimone

      Its terrible theology. Do you believe things are going to get better and the whole world is going to get saved? Its almost delusional. Things are going to get worst. We will face the great tribulation. Its time to get the saints ready. Its not doom and gloom. Its being smart to do so. Bill's people are going to be majorly caught off guard when they face the Anti Christ

    You have gone way too far in trying to discredit Bill Johnson. He is not to live up to your image of what a pastor should be. His teachings, especially on Jesus, are monumental. You are not to be the judge of all.

      I'm glad you mentioned this. He committed heresy in his book speaking about Jesus.
      When Heaven Invades Earth: A Practical Guide to a Life of Miracles
      According to Bill Johnson, Christ “performed miracles, wonders, and signs, as a man in right relationship to God . . . not as God. If He performed miracles because He was God, then they would be unobtainable for us. But if He did them as a man, I am responsible to pursue His lifestyle. Recapturing this simple truth changes everything.”
      JESUS IS 100% MAN AND 100% GOD. A child in the catholic church would now this

    • @4prayer
      @4prayer 8 месяцев назад

      Jesus Christ said of Himself, “The Son can do nothing.”2 In the Greek language that word nothing has a unique meaning-it means NOTHING, just like it does in English! He had NO supernatural capabilities whatsoever! While He is 100 percent God, He chose to live with the same limitations that man would face once He was redeemed. He made that point over and over again. Jesus became the model for all who would embrace the invitation to invade the impossible in His name. He performed miracles, wonders, and signs, as a man in right relationship to God…not as God. If He performed miracles because He was God, then they would be unattainable for us. But if He did them as a man, I am responsible to pursue His lifestyle. Recapturing this simple truth changes everything…and makes possible a full restoration of the ministry of Jesus in His Church. From When Heaven Invades Earth

      @@4prayer You are a sister in Christ. But Jesus was 100% God. You do not understand the theological implications of Jesus emptying himself. We discuss the stuff for weeks in seminary. It too much for me to explain. Bill did edit the book after theologians begged him. So Bill did not explain this properly. But i am sure Bill is a man who loves the lord and has good intensions. He did 100% commit heresy.

      @@TornCurtainIJoshuaSimone no way! Bill stated right there in the book you quoted that Jesus was 100% God. I would not want to stand before God in opposition to Bill. And oh, the Pharisees were great theologians.

    • @TornCurtainIJoshuaSimone
      @TornCurtainIJoshuaSimone  8 месяцев назад +2

      @4prayer several famous theologians BEGGED him to take the quote out of the book. The statement was heretical that is why he changed it. I'm not going to comment further cause not not getting it. I love Bill as a brother in Christ. I wouldn't trust his Theology. I'm not speaking bad about Bill. He is just not qualified to write on Theology.
