@@ResistTheGreatReplacementEUNigel Farage is the Stannis Baratheon of politics and that is of course a great thing. Also what about the Muslims in China being persecuted?
Stannis will win . The pink letter I reckon is a decoy (written by someone who isn't Ramsay ) Stannis will pull a brave heart (scene where Wallace and his men steal English uniforms to enter a fort non detected ) and will purge winter fell that way . Selyse and mel will burn shireen to either resurrect Stannis who they think was killed but ends up resurrecting jon . Stannis is a character who always faces hardship storms end siege is similar to his predicament now the odds are stacked but his iron will pulls him and his men through the shit they're in.
I need to think about this one more, but you're probably pretty close, especially when it comes to Stannis winning the battle at the crofter's village via the "night lamp" theory, faking his own death & then sneaking his men into Winterfell, because, of course, Stannis is the Mannis!
Stannis the Mannis all the way and yeah I think Personally everything going on in the north is so hard to predict just based on how much is going on and the numerous actual outcomes that make sense!
@@TheGreaseGoblins I also think you're right about Rickon coming back wilder than ever. I'm not sure what's going to happen politically, but I'm expecting him to be a pretty badass skinchanger with a collection of feral wolves, shaggy unicorns, and a Shaggydog. (and maybe more) And I think he, along with Arya (and her wolf pack) will use their skin changing abilities, a la the Greenseers of old, to warg animals to use in the fight against the Others, aka, The Battle for the Dawn
@@Seuspesos I think they will but I'm worried it's going to be a short lived reunion and only after Shireen dies I'm not convinced Stannis will burn her directly, but I do think at the very least his actions will lead to her death. My guess is that he will fake his death as part of a ploy to take Winterfell, which will lead to the pink letter (regardless of who actually wrote it) which in turn will lead to Jon's stabbing & resurrection, which I'm guessing will be facilitated by her burning And I could see Stannis going on for a little bit after that, but then he sees Davos & just breaks 😢 Obviously I don't want it to go down like this but if Shireen does die (especially that way) because of Stannis, whether directly or indirectly, I don't see it ending well for him 😞
Something many forget is that it was pretty much confirmed on Dannys visions in Clash that Stannis will fail somewhere down the line and become a spectre.
Weird, other commenter said the visions say would Stannis would survive till Dany arrival. I will need to research this, but what part of the vision proves your point?
I think Stannis will most likely die the way Randall tarly was killed in the shows . Remember the vision Stannis had when he seen himself being consumed by fire and the crown he will refuse to bend to the incest freak and will die by Dragon fire.
I think it makes more sense for stannis to lose either the battle of ice or when he reaches winterfell he doesn’t have enough manpower even if that your theory is correct taking winterfell is no easy challenge roose or Ramsey Bolton isn’t. Fool believe me they have a plan and honestly this the only thing the later seasons of game of thrones did right was having the battle of bastards and the starks themselves take back winterfell if stannis takes winterfell back how will Starts get back in the game of thrones will the other northern lords fall behind stannis or see as another southern leader trying to take advantage of them? How will the starks be in his master plan? It makes more sense for him to lose so the starks can come back take winterfell and get back in the running for the game of thrones. Not to mention danys vision were stannis fails somewhere short. Honestly I know it might not happen if it does which their is a chance the battle of the bastards in the books will be so much cooler then even the show.
I do think Stannis is gonna be betrayed at some point even if he wins vs the Boltons. My reasoning is meta but I think themes and repetition of history are more important in this story than anything. This whole saga is a tragedy and honorable men either get betrayed or die because of their honor or go mad and the world still turns. That’s not to say that bad guys win either, they die even worse but the point is that monarchies are flawed and the throne is toxic and the magic system isn’t based in morality.
The magic system needs explaining. It’s my biggest problem with the series. Seems like the Red God is very real? Lady Stoneheart, Beric. Shadows. Valyria, the Wall. None of it explained and I just have to accept it and move on.
. I think stannis will die and be killed by daenerys. I think he will take winterfell and all that crap we saw in show from jon about not bending the knee will be the part of stannis, i think north will take him as their rightful king for avenging the red wedding (and/or bringing rickon back) like they did in show with jon, i think dany might kill him for not bending the knee like she did with randyll and dickon tarly. I think show killed his character to wrap the season easily and cutting cost and divided some parts of him among the other characters.
He is considered the greatest military commander in Westeros right now. I think he will win any battle he fights from here on out in the story, but his end or "loss" will come from how he handled Renly, his heavy use of mercenaries (pirates and wildlings), and his dealings with the red woman. Honestly if he can win the throne using these forces then not only is he the rightful king he is the best person for the job... it's just that no one else sees it. They all mostly hate him and believe he has been corrupted by the "Red Witch"... and he has. He seems to have 2 different groups of soldiers, those that are loyal to him and those that are loyal to the lord of light. It seems like most of those troops are probably dead by now and replaced with wildlings and pirates who probably just think he is a fanatic and will probably think even less of him if his camp decides to burn a child for some ungodly reason... I wouldn't be surprised if his own soldiers don't start fighting each other. His forces are his own bannermen, Renly's bannermen (whom he murdered), defeated wildlings (who tend to fight for only Mance), and mercenary pirates (who probably only care about money). They are out here warring for this dude in the most insane battles, blackwater, out past the wall, and now in Winterfell... if the money gets short then why would a bunch of wildlings and pirates fight for Stannis?
Ugh I hope George ends his story well if he is gonna die. Ur right tho there’s just too many players in better positions. I mean he doesn’t even have povs.
My idea is that Stannis is going to take Winterfell, that’s a fact. He is going to kill Roose and Ramsey. But do you remember that hand of the king he had? The onion knight, yes! He is going to be betrayed by Rickon, who wants to conquer Winterfell. Davos doesn’t die because he is saved by Osha, who isn’t in agreement with Rickon. Rickon kills a mad Stannis because of his daughter’s death and White Walkers that let him very poorly manned. After Rickon takes Winterfell, both Jon and Sansa will attack Winterfell without knowing who is in power. Sansa has the power of the Vale and some part of his husband’s army, Faegon is her husband. And here, they kill savage Rickon, and Jon is crowned. As in the series, Stannis is in the forest dying… alone…. Rickon and the Walkers defeated him. He’s going to die, and he sees a boat with a man and a woman on it. He is glad to see Davos again, with whoever he is now. They do their last talk before Osha gives the gift of mercy. He tells Davos to save Jon and the Wall from the Red Witch. That’s the end of Stannis, a man of honor. I hadn’t come to this channel since a long time, glad to be back! Great video!
I think people really forget the mess Selyse and co. caused at the Wall. It will likely force Selyse and co. to flee to the Night Fort and they will probably kidnap some of the child freefolk hostages, destroying Stannis' alliance with the free folk. They might even kidnap Monster (Mance's child). Also, I believe the Three-Eyed Crow (who I think is future-Bran) definitely does NOT want Stannis to take Winterfell, not anymore than the Boltons or Freys, so I think he will cause Stannis to lose and retreat to the Night Fort. There is foreshadowing that Brienne will want to go after Stannis and Catelyn (now Lady Stoneheart) will be against it. Also remember Stannis told Sam he wants to see the Black Gate. Stannis will, I think, become the new Night's King.
The Three Eyed Crow is Brynden Rivers aka Brynden Bloodraven who is the bastard son of Aegon IV Targaryen and Mellisa Blackwood, he served as Hand of the King for a number of years before being exiled to the Wall by Aegon V for killing Aneys Blackfyre under a peace banner and kinslaying, he is the cousin of Maester Aemon not a time travelling Brandon Stark.
As much as you like Stannis. I think he won’t die hero’s death. I think he will betray the humanity for all the injustice towards him. He will take the NF and let the others through it and become a white. Jon will take Winterfell with the help of wildlings and giants probably Rickon Manderlys will help but I don’t see Rickon surviving. Do you think Stannis went to the wall to beat the others and wildlings ? Lol hell no He literally had no other choice he was at DS he had to move somewhere if not he would be besieged. Of course he goes to the nights watch , where else ? Think about it First of all. It’s not his Kingdom , nobody wants him as a King.
It is his kingdom by right... And who would've held siege on DS at this point no one is has that much of army or navy .... And it is clearly mentioned that stannis went their to help NW, stannis is a man of sheer will even if whole world betrays him i don't see him leaving his rules of living he will accept the defeat instead of turning into others
