This would be cool but imagine if instead hakita is in a secret prime sanctum p-4 achieved by p-ranking everything, getting all secrets and secret levels, and finally beating all challenges
a concept that i thought of (again, an idea, not a prediction) is that p-3 could end up being barren with corpses of enemies littered across the level. the corpses would rise up and would have strings attached, that while not easy to see, are noticable when you look close enough (sort of like how maurice's spider legs look but a bit less visible). you would have to survive an onslaught of said corpses until they eventually run out (to add, those corpses could be revived if you do not blow them to bits). the player would have to keep on surviving until they either destroy all the enemies or outlast a timer of sorts. when that happens, the prime soul's prison could rise up from the ground, while being controlled by the prime soul itself. then the player would have to destroy the prison, and FINALLY be able to fight the prime soul again, this is only a concept, not a prediction. but it would be sick if some part of my idea was coincidentally in the sanctum. but for my own thoughts on the predictions of other players, i think that jesus prime, judas prime, and lucifer prime are very unrealistic. hakita has shown to subvert expectations nearly every single time he updates the game, but due to all the predictions coming from the playerbase i think SOME of the theories and ideas will end up appearing in the final sanctum.

1:12 i could imagine that Jesus wouldn't accept the council, because he would realize the bad things they did and how they try to say they do god's will. So he would be sent to the treachery layer because of his betrayal.
I agree with the takes here, but Hakita literally said (in I think the second(?) developer livestream when he was talking about Ultrakill’s biblical inspirations) that Jesus is NOT a character in Ultrakill’s world, thus he can’t be a prime soul because he literally doesn’t exist. Maurice prime is a prime soul boss spawning after defeating Flesh Cruciform His appearence resembles a huge half-transparent green, damaged maurice. The outer marble is less transparent than the hell mass forming the maurice In the center of maurice you can see a heart pumping. Maurice prime can use attacks such as: "You will die." Maurice prime launches into the air and falls onto the player dealing 70 damage on hit. This process repeats 3 times on Harmless, Lenient and Standard and 5 times on Violent+ "Vanish." Maurice prime starts firing walls of quickly vanishing projectiles counter-clockwise, and the only way to evade them is to move. On Harmless and Lenient the walls are slower than player's movespeed. On standart walls move at the same speed as V1 On violent+ walls are faster than V1. On brutal+there are 2 walls so you have even less space to dodge "You can't chargeback" MauricePrime shoots 3/3/4/6/7/7 hitscan explosions that deal 30 damage on contact and can't be chargebacked. "Fkoff." Maurice aims at V1 for short time and starts erratically shooting projectiles that deal 15 damage but move very fast. Maurice cant change aim during attack though. Brutal+ MP's shots are more accurate. After defeating maurice says that you were a worthy opponent and dies. The voicelines: (Inteo cutscene) "Huh... My waiting puzzle for eternity is over. Angels will pay the cost of their BLOOD after i reach them. As for you, steel vagabond... I see you have killed my brothers. Lots of them. @GabeTheMuffin789 that might be true. If the third prime soul is indeed a king, I think keeping it a secret like this and letting the community speculate and theorize like this is the best way to build up hype.
I've seen someone make a pretty good theory imo. So it's not my idea, but here goes anyway : Tantalus Prime. Greek king ? Check Endlessly punished in hell ? Check Crimes ? Thievery, mainly, stealing from the gods which would land him right in treachery. It's a good candidate.
I mean bro killed his own son, and then fed him to the gods…so I think dude is as good as any. Also he was punished like Sisyphus but instead whenever he’s thirsty the water would record from him, and whenever he’s hungry the tree with fruit would blow away from him in the wind.
counterpoint to hell being too powerful for v1 to take on: its getting emptier and emptier because the machines are killing everyone inside it and thus weaking it enough for v1 to deal the final blow but honestly I feel like its gonna be prometheus, first for being in the treachery layer, and prometheus betraying the gods to give fire to humanity, second because hell and god have been compared to fire in ultrakill, like 0-1 being named "into the fire" and god disappearing being called "the fire is gone" by gabriel
i do get the feeling that hell itself might be the final boss, fighting with gabriel in his final moments against hell, probably not likely, but it's a nice thing to think about
Tantalus Prime. He checks all the boxes and his punishment in Greek mythology could portray really well into Ultrakill. Imagine a starved husk of a man whose only response to seeing you is “FOOD”. The idea for his arena could be really cool as well with water being on the floor similar to Sisyphus only it moves away from him based in his position.
An idea for P3 that I find interesting is that it will be Geryon Prime, a notable figure I’m not Greek Mythology and Dante’s Inferno. In Greek Mythology, Geryon was both the grandson of Medusa and the caretaker of red cattle on an island where the sun sets every night. Aided by the two headed brother of Cerberus, Orthus. Geryon is also noted as having three bodies. In Dante’s Inferno, Geryon was a mythical king of Spain who a ferry men, ferrying souls on his back between the seventh and eighth circles of hell. He is also noted as having a body that was half reptile, half hairy beast, and had a scorpion tail. I can see the story of Geryon in Ultrakill be that he was formerly a Ferryman who had a hand in creating the Mannequins. Later going on to not only create the Minotaur, but also a demon and machine in his image. Using his status as a Ferryman, Geryon would lure husks into the Fraud Layer where they would be end up becoming part of a massive kingdom of Husks, Demons, Angels and Machines. Eventually leading to Geryon not only being stripped of his power as a Ferryman, but trapped in a panopticon with his machine and demon, becoming an amalgamation of a prime soul, bearing three bodies. Each one affecting how V1 fights them depending on which bodies is facing V1.
I personally like the idea that the intro is the "Flesh Warden" which is basically just Lucifer as described in Dante's Inferno, a three headed beast with each head chewing one of the three "kings" of treachery. As for how in sam hill having 3 prime souls on you at once would balance, I dunno but I bet it'd be freaking awesome!
3 prime souls, you can choose which to attack, freeing them from the mouth and letting them hurt you.... of course, if you want the P rank you'll need to go fast, maybe fight two at once... or all three...
As a christian I would love to see Jesus in Ultrakill, also I made time stamps: 0:00 - Intro 0:28 - Jesus Prime 1:48 - Aegeus Prime 2:24 - Adam & Eve Prime 2:51 - Nimrod Prime 3:35 - Daedalus Prime 5:03 - Treacherous Trio / Brutus, Judas and Cassius Prime 5:47 - God / Hell 6:18 - V2 Prime / V3 Prime 6:32 - Outro
@@sloppiest.soldier Yeah I know, I just thought it would be cool if he was in the game, not saying he actually was gonna be. Also the cross decorated with branches looks kind of cool ngl.
it would be illogical , first of all hakita would get a lot of controversy , second Jesus didn't , and won't kill and he's the best person in history or at least in christianity
idk gabriel prime seems like a very good candidate. Consider the pattern: Minos merely defied heaven Sisiphys seeked to revolutionise heaven Gabriel literally destroyed the council of heaven Gabriel also has an insane amount of status. There's mentions to him in most upper layers, showing his influence. And since a flesh prison wouldn't be able to contain a prime sould of that caliber, it makes sense to put him at the end, directly after his death
Unlikely, but I think Orpheus is a great prime soul candidate 1.) He is of noble blood 2.) would be guilty of treachery after betraying hades and eurydices by looking back 3.) He is one of the most prominent Greek mythological figures (Minos and Sisyphus were both characters that even someone not well versed in Greek mythos could know about, and I feel Orpheus fits this criteria. 4. He's well versed in the arts, and could be portrayed to have a relation to the library of babel and 7-1. 5. He's a musician, which would be fitting in a game full of musical references. It's more so that I want it to be Orpheus than I actually think it will be. Daedalus or Icarus seem to be the best candidates overall.
tbh Tantalus or Ixion would be an amazing Prime Soul candidates. They're mythological Greek kings, have commited various terrible acts, the works. Maybe the prisons would reflect their punishments. Tantalus' would be like a tree, and Ixion's would be a wheel.
It's been my theory for a while now that Daedalus is the one who gave the enemies of Hell their cybernetic augmentations, being an inventor in Greek mythology. Maybe he was punished for this? It would give him much more plot significance and give an easy way to explain how he ended up as a prime soul. He could have been researching cybernetics because of Icarus dying or something, and his love for Icarus caused such significant willpower? Additionally, you would access P-3 via Treachery--modifying sinners could be considered as treachery.
I think it would be Gabriel Prime, considering that Gabriel was accused of all 3 of the sins in act 3 in the cutscene and he could be an extremely good finale. Maybe we end up killing him but he ends up imprisoned in act 3 in which we eventually fight him in p-3 as a prime soul
Considering the first two souls. Ranked by difficulty it goes Minos to Sisyphus. Minos: A minor king, his main feat was trapping daedalus and icarus in a tower. Sisyphus: A king, his main feat was trapping the god of death Thanatos in a box. I think their strength is based on their punishment in hell, Minos' punishment by the gods was having his wife fall in love with a cow, while Sisyphus' punishment was more severe (pushing a boulder up a hill over and over again). Minos freed sinners from their punishments by god, a crime which had him killed. Sisyphus waged war against heaven, a crime which had him tortured and then killed. This is why I believe that the 3rd and final Prime Soul will probably be someone with a horrible punishment and a horrible crime against god. Here are my guesses, from most likely to somewhat likely King Erysichthon: He was a king, his crime was destroying Demeter's grove and one of Demeter's most beloved Dryads. His punishment was insatiable hunger. No matter how much he ate he was always hungry, and the more he ate the hungrier he became. This goes on and on until he's spent all of his money on food, leaving his kingdom in shambles, until he eventually eats himself. Prometheus: His punishment was being strapped to a boulder and having birds eat out his organs while he regenerates. Although he wasn't a king, he still had a horrible punishment. His punishment was due to him stealing fire from the gods and giving it to the humans he sculpted. He is placed 2nd due to the fact that the third Prime Soul being a king is not confirmed. King Midas: Another king, but highly unlikely, he helped Dionysus (the reason he had the Golden Touch), and his only punishment was growing donkey ears after saying that Pan plays better than Apollo. He's the most well known king that isn't a god, but he has no reason to be in hell.
Machine... You have caused the WHOLE world to crumble only for your own survival. But there is nothing left in this world to bleed... which only means that your journey will soon end. But... I dont have much time left either... SO I SHALL SPEND MY LAST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE WITH YOU!!!
i personally think its daedalus cuz think about it daedalus and his wings contributed into the first making of machines which now we know were causing all the trouble in the great war which i think is what lend him into the treachery layer of hell sense hes technically responsible for all the deaths in that war
My personal theory is King Amphiaraus, not only does he follow the theme of Greek kings being the prime souls, but he also appears in fruad in Dantes Inferno. His mythology also acts as a pretty decent blueprint for his possible lore, a king reluctant to go to war, only to be convinced by his wife, Eriphyle, to join the conflict. Eriphyle could easlily be replaced with Hell Itself in Ultrakill, influencing Amphiaraus to wage war with the heavens, a war he doesn't want to do, but is forced to, leading to his death.
I don’t know why nobody has mentioned him before but I think Tantalus is the most likely to become a prime soul. Here are the reasons why: 1. Tantalus was a Greek king just like Minos and sysiphus. 2. He suffered from a heavy punishment and is confined in hell. 3. His sin embodies the last layers of hell violence, fraud and treachery. For those who don’t know his story he basically tried to challenge the mightiness of the gods (fraud) by feeding them with the flesh of his kin (violence and treachery). In the end he got caught and was made stand in a pool of water which would dry up when he tried to drink from it and below a tree with low branches with the fruit rotting from his grasp.
I had a "what if" idea for a double prime boss... and one of the guys in MD server said TWO GREEK BROTHERS THAT WOULD FIT ALL LAYERS. ROMULUS AND REMUS.
I have a theory that’s more so about ULTRAKILL as a whole, but can also tie into P-3. We learn from the secret levels that God regrets free will and the creation of hell. He wants desperately to undo his mistakes and start anew, but he can’t. So, now let’s look at V1. V1 is a soulless war machine with no free will, and we don’t really know why they’re in hell besides “blood is fuel”. Let’s look at what V1 is doing in hell. According to Gabriel at the end of act 2, we’re actually destroying it layer by layer. “All gone”, he says. Now, who in the lore would want Hell destroyed? God! V1 is a machine sent by God to destroy hell. It also makes sense in regard to Gabriel’s actions. God sees free will as a mistake. The citizens of heaven likely have free will. V1 fights with Gabriel, which directly results in Gabriel cutting himself off from God’s light, Gabriel killing the council, and almost certainly sending Heaven into a violent chaos. That’s my personal head canon about the game as a whole, but I also have multiple theories about P-3. The thing about P-3 is that it’s the last level in the game. It has to be huge. I think that, once V1 is done destroying the rest of hell, P-3 will either be just God or God and Hell. Now, it doesn’t really make sense for V1 to kill God if it was sent to Hell by God, right? V1 has no free will to do so. Right? That could be wrong. When you fight V2 in Greed, V1 actually talks. He says that V2 is not getting away this time. That could mean that V1 is developing some free will and thought. Which also gives V1 the freedom to battle God and usurp the universe. I could go more in depth with my different P-3 theories, because this is definitely a quick explanation, but it’s the gist. I am definitely confident in my theory of V1 being sent to kill Hell by God, though.
I’m not super confident in any one theory but I feel like the Greek mythology connection is less important than the Divine Comedy connection (Minos was directly in the story and Sisyphus seemingly inspired one of the punishments) so I think Lucifer, who is confirmed to exist in Ultrakill lore, is still on the table. That said, Jesus is seemingly non-canon to Ultrakill (since the cross was stated to symbolize the Tree of Life rather than Jesus’s crucifixion), so I’d say that deconfirms both Jesus Prime and Judas Prime. I’ve also seen a theory that Gabriel will die in Layer 8 (Hakita’s already messed with the boss format this act by having the first boss be a giant, instead of the second boss), and that might give him time to reform as a Prime Soul in Layer 3, just without the Flesh Prison equivalent (since Sisyphus destroyed the Flesh Panopticon before you can, it’d make sense for the next step to just skip it entirely). If you really want someone Greek, maybe Antaeus? He was a giant who fought Heracles and also appears in Dante’s Inferno between the 8th and 9th layers, so he fits both the Greek connection and the Inferno connection, while being a potentially quite imposing opponent, having fought Heracles and being immortal as long as he touches the ground (which could translate into a mechanic where you can only damage him if you either hit him during jumping attacks, or knock him off the ground with high knock-back attacks).
My theory (not rly a theory I just like the character) for P-3 is Daedalus. In greek mythology, he knew minos and even built the labyrinth in which the minotaur is stuck for him.
Honestly I feel like Odysseus makes sense, because he has a lot of wit, hunted down by gods (im sure there would be some in game lore reason for why he was there), and basically spent the entire trip looking for his wife and son, signifying his willpower to finding them
I said it in a comment on the previous P-3 video, but Menelaus Prime. Because of his involvement with Troy and the Trojan Horse, his being a Greek king, etc., I think he's also...a prime candidate. ...I'm not apologizing.
My main reasoning for god being the prime soul is that sealing himself away in hell feels like the most likely place he went since the testament in 7-S implies he tried to kill himself but couldn't.
I personally think Hell Prime would be a good idea; The level is you climbing out all the way back to prelude, you reach the empty earth, and than hell itself opens up trying to swallow you whole, the fight goes from you yourself breaking out of a flesh prison that is actually the ozone layer of earth and you fight a Hell covered earth against planets in phase 2
I just thought Midas Prime was gonna be P-3… You know great Greek king from myth who committed a grave sin. Betrayal would also be a perfect layer for him with him turning his daughter to gold in some of the oldest tellings. Hell he would also fit Fraud pretty well and even violence to a lesser extant considering his possible connections to Mita.
I have no idea if this has been said before, but Odysseus, literally one of the most famous characters in all of greek mythology, deserves some speculation
A cool idea would maybe be having the 3rd prime soul be the person who invented the machines in the first place. It would make sense for the guy who invented one of the deadliest and most powerful weapons known to man, that almost wiped out man, to be a prime soul.
personally i dont want p-3 to follow the footsteps of p-1 and p-2 but instead be an alternative ending to ultrakill. maybe lucifer prime or god, something like that
I think the same something along the lines of The fight against gaberiel would be a ending where existence can slowly rebuild itself maybe v1 and gabe's fight being so large and great hell itself collapses from it and the p-3 fight to be the worst case scenario
Hakita him self as a April fools joke, but if you defeat him you get to keep him in the spawn menu but the fight requires pure skill and is basacally a boss rush before you get to him
I wonder how prime soul will appear. in P-1 we had Flesh Prison which we had to kill. in P-2 prime soul came out free itself. I dare to assume that by the time we arrive in the room with the boss, the dungeon will already have been defeated
The theory (or hope) i have, is that we have a double prime boss fight, Daedalus and his son, Icarus. Icarus fits the name for the terminal entry for the minotaur, and Icarus would go against his fathers wishes to start an uprising in hell during God's dissapearance, causing him to be inprisoned and Daedalus to be his warden in violence, Daedalus being the "flesh prison". Or maybe both of them being prime souls, Daedalus choosing to side with his son out of anger for God's hypocrisy or perhaps simply wanting to cause bloodshed out of boredom and assuming total control of the last 3 layers of hell, to toy with them the way Hell itself does. Tbh i dont think its likely but it'd be really cool to have a double prime boss and it makes sense as a way to up the difficulty for P-3, as theres a major difficulty spike in each Sanctum.
4:08 and imagine a Minotaur boss that comes before you fight him. Very likable theory. A pattern of every prime soul just being in a flesh prison is kind of unlikely.
6:27 v2 will definitely not be alive but… maybe v3 most likely can be a boss fight… And I’d imagine the introduction would be v2’s mangled corpse landing in the arena and just fucking exploding. Then after a few seconds v3 steps in.
I personally think King Tantalus might be the third prime soul, but we need to wait for Fraud and Treachery to come out so we can find the iconic book talking about the act’s king.
im a firm believer of gabriel prime. its more likely than not that he will die in hell in layer 8 or 9, after losing the fathers light. of course, the council isnt here anymore, so i believe hell itself will create a new flesh prison to hold his soul, and the final battle against gabriel will be a sort of great final spectacle, from the perspective of hell.
Considering Lucifer is mentioned in a testament, and is at the end of the Treachery (final) layer in Inferno, I could see him playing some kind of role
I like the idea of tantalus prime. It fits with the Greek kings, he has a known punishment in hell, and he fits with all 3 layers of act 3 (violence-killing his son, fraud/treachery - tricking the gods into eating his son)
It would be fucking awesome if it was a gauntlet of prime souls all from the other layers of hell, from different points in history and they had their own unique fighting style which makes each one slightly harder than the last all having a lot of lore. From what I’ve seen Hakita wouldn't be that insane to make the prime sanctum like that. OR WOULD HE???
not for p3 (cause i think daedalus is gonna be the prime boss) but for fraud, i have always thought thats its gonna be some kind of cave/mineshaft type of theme but i havent seen anyone say something similar to my idea, and i think it can make some sense cause of the whole void and backrooms idea everyone has
What if instead of fighting a flesh prison first the prime soul already broke out and is now awaiting you in a plastic chair while Bury The Light plays through a radio
My personal theory is that the final prime soul will be King Icarus, as Hakita does like to twist the original stories. Daedalus wasn't the only one locked in the labyrinth, and Icarus holds themes of escape, falling from grace, and flying too close to the sun. Cant wait to see how the story fits
I still like the idea of Machine Prime soul. Does it fit? No. But we know that all blood fueled machines are sentient in Ultrakill to a degree. And it just sounds... so damn cool. We know how first machines looked like, we know how last machines looked like and everything inbetween and there is no singular entity to put up as a "big bad machine"... except for V1 (Blue_Lobster_jumpscare.mp3)
in p-3, as you come to the chamber of the prime soul, it already has been opened, inside the last of humans, already having killed it, he's the real fight.
Lucifer was mentioned in Testament IV to be cast into hell, so if his lore is expanded on in future updates I'd say he has a very good shot at being P-3.
It’d be interesting if prometheus prime wasn’t in a flesh prison, but chained to a rock or demon, and the eyes were replaced by birds. Sort of imagine him saying something like, “I gave humanity fire. Betrayed our god. That fire has fought itself, and thus it gave life, as did it give death. It seems fire has come back to me.”
I would say that one possible idea for "hell prime" is what i call the heart of hell. Simply put you arent fighting all of hell, your just fighting its core.
I think it would make more sense for Jesus's existence to be completely hidden by the Council due to his claims of being the Son of God being seen as so heretical that he was deemed a traitor to God.
YES YES YES TANTALUS Finally, someone who thinks like me! It's going to be Tantalus, the king of Fraud. I assume he's gonna be red colored and skinny [referring to his punishment and the orb color order (Blue Soul Orb, Yellow Dual Wield Orb and Red Blood Orb)] Flesh Purgatory or Penitentiary Tantalus Prime is the most underrated P-3 concept ever
My favorite theory was in the newblood discord. Someone asked if V1 could beat prime Mike Tyson, someone replied what about Mike Tyson Prime. aRock drove it home with “thith prithon? To hold me?”
I believe it's going to be Jason, he was supposed to be the rightful heir to the throne by birthright but after going on a quest to become the king of Iolcus like he deserved he failed, but yet he kept trying and in his attempt to become royalty he committed a sin so vile it landed him so deep into the inferno it was even lower than 7 according to Dante's Inferno, I'm not explaining this well but mark my words, it's gonna be him
Personally the way i can see god as a prime soul is just... him completely having given up, hes so consumed by his regret of having created hell that he just, doesnt fight. He just lets you do your thing without even fighting back. But that probably fits more as a P-4 thing that comes after all 3 actual prime bosses
The lore entries in the secret levels are already about him being so consumed by his regrets that he becomes outright depressed, that would be a kinda satisfying conclusion to end at i think
I would like to see the Creator of Machines, or maybe just Prometheus. Being the "One who started it all" for humanity would be fitting for the final Prime soul
I have a feeling it could be Gabriel, because he has a massive following of husks though out the game, he's important to the story and it would make sense if we kill him (probably) in 9-2 (idk if hakita has disproven this or not)
My theory is that instead of Daedalus, the prime soul would be Icarus. He is literally the epitome of “Fraud” and it would be cool for him to be the king of it.
i think midas could be a cool candidate for prime soul if the sanctum is in treachery (alot of treacherers are those who kill their children, which is filicide, and midas kills his daughter in the original myth with the midas touch. that could also be linked maybe to a golden arm beingg the yellow arm and it not coming from gabriel.)
Daedalus killed his cousin in mythology, so his legacy being in the layer violence makes perfect sense to me.Also, the name Daedalus prime sounds good, and all the other evidence that can be found throughout the current act 3 and its lore videos. I see no better option.
i enjoy the (probably unlikely) idea that Gabriel is going to be the third prime soul, which would mean that p-3 isnt going to have a flesh prison/panopticon, and gabriel would be roaming free, lest he be improsined by the kingdom of heaven by unanimous vote after he died from the severed light (supposedly)

Maurice prime launches into the air and falls onto the player dealing 70 damage on hit. This process repeats 3 times on Harmless, Lenient and Standard and 5 times on Violent+
"Vanish."
Maurice prime starts firing walls of quickly vanishing projectiles counter-clockwise, and the only way to evade them is to move.
On Harmless and Lenient the walls are slower than player's movespeed.
On standart walls move at the same speed as V1
On violent+ walls are faster than V1.
On brutal+there are 2 walls so you have even less space to dodge
"You can't chargeback"
MauricePrime shoots 3/3/4/6/7/7 hitscan explosions that deal 30 damage on contact and can't be chargebacked.
"Fkoff."
Maurice aims at V1 for short time and starts erratically shooting projectiles that deal 15 damage but move very fast. Maurice cant change aim during attack though. Brutal+ MP's shots are more accurate.
After defeating maurice says that you were a worthy opponent and dies.

I also think the censored text might not be hell itself, but rather another king, and Hakita censored it on purpose to keep the prime soul a secret.
The consorted text does have enough characters to be “King Aegeus”
@GabeTheMuffin789 that might be true. If the third prime soul is indeed a king, I think keeping it a secret like this and letting the community speculate and theorize like this is the best way to build up hype.
@@myuce153 yeah and since ageus committed suicide for a reason that wasn’t true that my be why he was imprisoned
@@GabeTheMuffinManSuicide would have gotten him in Violence, and there’s been no indication of him anywhere
I've seen someone make a pretty good theory imo. So it's not my idea, but here goes anyway :
Tantalus Prime.
Greek king ? Check
Endlessly punished in hell ? Check
Crimes ? Thievery, mainly, stealing from the gods which would land him right in treachery.
It's a good candidate.
Finally someone else with my theory!
I mean bro killed his own son, and then fed him to the gods…so I think dude is as good as any. Also he was punished like Sisyphus but instead whenever he’s thirsty the water would record from him, and whenever he’s hungry the tree with fruit would blow away from him in the wind.
Same with Odysseus
Oh hey I'm really glad you included Nimrod and Brutus+Cassius because these are ideas I've had for a while which I never saw anyone else talk about!
counterpoint to hell being too powerful for v1 to take on: its getting emptier and emptier because the machines are killing everyone inside it and thus weaking it enough for v1 to deal the final blow
but honestly I feel like its gonna be prometheus, first for being in the treachery layer, and prometheus betraying the gods to give fire to humanity, second because hell and god have been compared to fire in ultrakill, like 0-1 being named "into the fire" and god disappearing being called "the fire is gone" by gabriel
maybe Prometheus played a part in humans finding hell, and that got him killed by the council
i do get the feeling that hell itself might be the final boss, fighting with gabriel in his final moments against hell, probably not likely, but it's a nice thing to think about
Tbh cool
would be kinda cool to fight alongside gabriel
As a christian I would love to see Jesus in Ultrakill, also I made time stamps:
0:00 - Intro
0:28 - Jesus Prime
1:48 - Aegeus Prime
2:24 - Adam & Eve Prime
2:51 - Nimrod Prime
3:35 - Daedalus Prime
5:03 - Treacherous Trio / Brutus, Judas and Cassius Prime
5:47 - God / Hell
6:18 - V2 Prime / V3 Prime
6:32 - Outro
Maybe you, but there're also lots of chirstians who'd get offended by it
@@kwark4115 Yeah, that's unfortunately true
It is confirmed that Jesus doesnt exist in Ultrakill's universe, hence why the crossed represent the tree of life rather than Jesus' crucifixion
To be fair, Hakita broke the pattern of V2 being the first layer of every act's boss with the earthmover so anything goes really
I think the patern wasn't V2 being the first layer of every act's boss, but a machine being, since Earthmover is also a machine

idk gabriel prime seems like a very good candidate.
Consider the pattern:
Minos merely defied heaven
Sisiphys seeked to revolutionise heaven
Gabriel literally destroyed the council of heaven
Gabriel also has an insane amount of status. There's mentions to him in most upper layers, showing his influence.
And since a flesh prison wouldn't be able to contain a prime sould of that caliber, it makes sense to put him at the end, directly after his death
I'm not sure how I'd make it work lorewise but I'd love a Dante and Virgil dual boss as the final prime
Unlikely, but I think Orpheus is a great prime soul candidate
1.) He is of noble blood
2.) would be guilty of treachery after betraying hades and eurydices by looking back
3.) He is one of the most prominent Greek mythological figures (Minos and Sisyphus were both characters that even someone not well versed in Greek mythos could know about, and I feel Orpheus fits this criteria.
What bout Tantalus
"RECONSTRUCT WHAT!!" sounds like something Hakita would say while he is writing up a scenario where V-2 gets reconstructed
tbh Tantalus or Ixion would be an amazing Prime Soul candidates. They're mythological Greek kings, have commited various terrible acts, the works.
Maybe the prisons would reflect their punishments. Tantalus' would be like a tree,
and Ixion's would be a wheel.
The P3 boss will be Cancerous Rodent PRIME. It’s true, im Hakita’s husband
It will be trapped in the flesh petcage

5:20 caught trying to parry with knuckleblaster
There is someone on the sub reddit that drew an absolutely amazing art of ramses prime and from it alone i gaslit myself to believing he is next
I think it would be Gabriel Prime, considering that Gabriel was accused of all 3 of the sins in act 3 in the cutscene and he could be an extremely good finale. Maybe we end up killing him but he ends up imprisoned in act 3 in which we eventually fight him in p-3 as a prime soul
gabriel prime would sound sick
Considering the first two souls. Ranked by difficulty it goes Minos to Sisyphus.
Minos: A minor king, his main feat was trapping daedalus and icarus in a tower.
Sisyphus: A king, his main feat was trapping the god of death Thanatos in a box.
I think their strength is based on their punishment in hell, Minos' punishment by the gods was having his wife fall in love with a cow,
while Sisyphus' punishment was more severe (pushing a boulder up a hill over and over again).
Minos freed sinners from their punishments by god, a crime which had him killed.
Sisyphus waged war against heaven, a crime which had him tortured and then killed.
This is why I believe that the 3rd and final Prime Soul will probably be someone with a horrible punishment and a horrible crime against god.
Here are my guesses, from most likely to somewhat likely
King Erysichthon: He was a king, his crime was destroying Demeter's grove and one of Demeter's most beloved Dryads.
My favorite part was when Tantalus said "it's tantalizing time!" and then failed to reach the fruits above him or the water beneath him.
What would be funny is that the prime soul emerges but then Gabriel comes in and one shots him and the most sick fight ever occurs

@ fire
i personally think its daedalus cuz think about it daedalus and his wings contributed into the first making of machines which now we know were causing all the trouble in the great war which i think is what lend him into the treachery layer of hell sense hes technically responsible for all the deaths in that war

@@coldbrewYT Ah makes sense, for me, the video link didn't pop up
I don’t know why nobody has mentioned him before but I think Tantalus is the most likely to become a prime soul. Here are the reasons why:
5:19 Hakita has stated that You will never at any point fight lucifer in Ultrakill,I think that applies to his Husk as well.
Dam this is such a good theory i hope coldbrew sees this
I’m not super confident in any one theory but I feel like the Greek mythology connection is less important than the Divine Comedy connection (Minos was directly in the story and Sisyphus seemingly inspired one of the punishments) so I think Lucifer, who is confirmed to exist in Ultrakill lore, is still on the table.
Hear me out, Gabrial Prime, just think about it
My theory (not rly a theory I just like the character) for P-3 is Daedalus. In greek mythology, he knew minos and even built the labyrinth in which the minotaur is stuck for him.
"I died for humanity's sins.. but you are a sin that couldn't have been rid of.. Sin of Man, it's time for you to see what I died for!"
I personally think Hell Prime would be a good idea; The level is you climbing out all the way back to prelude, you reach the empty earth, and than hell itself opens up trying to swallow you whole, the fight goes from you yourself breaking out of a flesh prison that is actually the ozone layer of earth and you fight a Hell covered earth against planets in phase 2
the rocketlauncher on the maurices makes me crazy
@purple781 ah, didnt know that. well spare me my delusions
I would love Adam and Eve Prime just because the idea of fighting two minos primes at once is fun as hell
3:03 you used the rocket launchers primary fire on a malicious face lol
my personal favorite theory is that daedalus was in some way responsible for the creation of the machines in violence
Lucifer was mentioned in Testament IV to be cast into hell, so if his lore is expanded on in future updates I'd say he has a very good shot at being P-3.
Midas prime. Just a slight touch and you're a golden statue
I really want to see a V2 prime
So in the story it seems that v1 and v2 have a mind of their own. So maybe somehow v1 gains sentiance and becomes a prime soul
It’d be interesting if prometheus prime wasn’t in a flesh prison, but chained to a rock or demon, and the eyes were replaced by birds. Sort of imagine him saying something like,
“I gave humanity fire. Betrayed our god. That fire has fought itself, and thus it gave life, as did it give death. It seems fire has come back to me.”
I would say that one possible idea for "hell prime" is what i call the heart of hell. Simply put you arent fighting all of hell, your just fighting its core.
Out of P-3 ideas
Saladin would be a good replacement of Minos
and Furies to Sisyphus
Don't know what the design would be like, but my theory on the P-3 boss is that it would be called "Odysseus Prime".
I want to see Tantalus prime
Same
I think it would make more sense for Jesus's existence to be completely hidden by the Council due to his claims of being the Son of God being seen as so heretical that he was deemed a traitor to God.
Personally I'm very big on the idea of Tantalus
What about Tantalus
YES YES YES
TANTALUS
Finally, someone who thinks like me!
It's going to be Tantalus, the king of Fraud.
I assume he's gonna be red colored and skinny [referring to his punishment and the orb color order (Blue Soul Orb, Yellow Dual Wield Orb and Red Blood Orb)]
Flesh Purgatory or Penitentiary
Tantalus Prime is the most underrated P-3 concept ever
3:04 coldbrew spotted trying to rocket launcher a maurice
It’s gonna be v2 prime (I just want another v2 fight)
I would like to see the Creator of Machines, or maybe just Prometheus. Being the "One who started it all" for humanity would be fitting for the final Prime soul
what about that one guy who made the wax wings
Hear me out, Gabriel Prime
I have a feeling it could be Gabriel, because he has a massive following of husks though out the game, he's important to the story and it would make sense if we kill him (probably) in 9-2 (idk if hakita has disproven this or not)
My theory is that instead of Daedalus, the prime soul would be Icarus. He is literally the epitome of “Fraud” and it would be cool for him to be the king of it.
bad idea, at the end you fight a boss fight in heaven
I imagine he would be a truly innocent prime soul, only to be betrayed by the council and locked in a flesh prison so they can gain more power
i think midas could be a cool candidate for prime soul if the sanctum is in treachery (alot of treacherers are those who kill their children, which is filicide, and midas kills his daughter in the original myth with the midas touch. that could also be linked maybe to a golden arm beingg the yellow arm and it not coming from gabriel.)
