I accepted the criticism on my past predictions videos and I feel like this should be better! Let me know! DISCLAIMER: Every theory or prediction in this video is not fact, it is merely what I would like to see in P-3, do not take it as fact as no one besides Hakita knows what is going to happen next for ULTRAKILL. I am not trying to spread misinformation, I am just trying to have fun making a cool video, don't get so butt hurt over it.
Imagine if the Third Prime doesn't have a Flesh Prison - they're still in their living Husk form but partially encased in the ice of the Treachery layer. So you have to kill them both as a Supreme Husk and as a Prime Soul.
OOOOOO, how about this?: There is a flesh prison, except when we get into the boss room, we see the bloody remains of the prison, and in the middle of the bloody mess is the Prime Soul boss. To follow up after Sisyphus literally killed the Flesh Panopticon when given the chance. It would be epic and really show how dangerous the boss really is.
p-2 had basically every boss that wasnt cannonically one of a kind. So what if p-3 uses the other boss that also isnt one of a kind as clearly shown in 7-2 and the challenge for p-3 is having to beat 3 earthmovers
I think it'd be cool if the Prime Soul just jumpscared you immediately and then after a multi-phase boss fight, you go through an entire level covered in bloodstains and a bunch of destroyed blast doors, implying that there was a P-2-like gauntlet guarding them but they already escaped.
I feel like the one thing that ruins Judas Prime is the fact that Prime Souls usually have an immense willpower: - Minos wanted to avenge humanity and take revenge on Gabriel after his hard work was destroyed. - Sisyphus was a warmongerer who, despite knowing he'd fight a losing battle, he still did it to piss The Council off. Judas literally dropping the 30 coins after knowing he'd sent Jesus to die and hanging himself shortly after in Acts 1 doesn't scream someone with willpower.
Minos wanted to help the humans in hell,Sisyphus cared only for himself,so i think the 3rd prime soul would accept his sins and try to avenge heaven, which would make sense for Judas since he felt guilty after realising he sold Jesus and got him killed.
@@noahdude628 "Ah,so concludes the life and times of King Sisyphus. A fitting end to an existance defined by futile struggle. Doomed from the very start. And i don't,regret,a second of it." Something tells me he knew that an attack against heaven would get him killed, and this very war lead to the Sisyphian Insurrectionist looking like this.
I saw once on reddit someone give an interesting idea for P-3: Instead of fighting someone trapped in a flesh prison, the whole level would be V1 trying to escape from a flesh prison. It could be a fresh twist from P-1 and P-2, plus I personally would love to see how the prisons are supposed to work on the inside.
It sounds nice, but I would think of heaven TRYING to trap v1, not v1 trying to escape or ssomething. It would be cool if we fight army of angels as an gauntlet before prime boss fight.
I think p-3 will have you going from the broken prison, going backwards through dead sinners and robots and demons the prime soul killed when it escaped, then at the end of the level you fight the prime soul, then the lore reveals all the terminals are fucking each other
King something Most likely relevant to the layer he was part of Since minos was relevant to l2 ( lust) And sisyphus to l4 (greed) Best bet so far would be geryon for fraud like he said
@@TundraNine i guess … but lilith wasn t any harm to heaven themself , she did some fuky waky and decided to be a bitch to adam by making him and eve eat the apple but she really didn t do stuff in hell … As for hell itself , sanctums are both canon and non canon , i belive that since hell’s text is red and/or bold letters and seeing it s relevenace , it wouldn t be an optional part of it all
The two theories I’ve heard of what can fit ____ ______ in Minotaur entry is hell itself, and king Icarus, which is why I’m a bit surprised to not see any theories on Icarus prime
Alright let’s do this: 1:30 This is actually already confirmed to be not true. In the developer commentary stream they outright say that P-2 will still have the most difficult normal encounters in the game, so if P-3 does have a gauntlet before it, it likely won’t be either as hard or as long, probably both. Lucifer: Yes it very much is a stupid idea. Angels cannot be Prime Souls as they don’t have human souls to begin with. A human’s soul is transferred into a husk or a lesser angel upon death, which is how humans have an afterlife. Anything other than a human doesn’t have that luxury. Angels, demons, machines, none of them have souls (or at the very least, angels’ and demons’ souls work fundamentally differently from humans’ souls) and therefore they cannot stick around as a Prime Soul after their death. Back on the topic of Lucifer, everything I said about him in my breakdowns of the previous two videos still applies here. His role in the story was to demonstrate that God is not infallible to separate the ULTRAKILL depiction of him from any real world religions’ depictions of him. He is currently only one of countless beings being tormented in Hell, if not dead already, and holds no significance other than that. There will need to be some kind of a buildup to whoever the boss character is, and logically that should happen in Fraud, because if it happened in Treachery it would distract from the buildup to Gabriel. The question then becomes what thematics significance could ULTRAKILL Lucifer have in relation to the layer? He was sent to Hell because he was *honest* to God, being open about his doubts of God’s plan. That level of brutal honestly feels like the opposite of Fraud, no? On top of the lack of thematic significance, what would be his story significance? What series of events could push Heaven to add to his torment by going into Hell and outright killing and imprisoning him? Lastly, on the topic of “Hakita said we won’t fight Lucifer.” That is not true. The closest I can find is actually the opposite, when confronted with screenshots of youtube comments from people saying he deconfirmed Lucifer, he dismissed those comments by saying too many people use “Hakita said it” as a source without any evidence. Judas: What kind of interpretation of Judas could ULTRAKILL possibly have? His mere existence as a character in the bible is intrinsically tied to his relationship to Jesus. To adapt any of the twelve apostles, Judas especially, into the setting of ULTRAKILL, they would fundamentally need to be remade from the ground up, and at that point it wouldn’t even be the same character anymore. Unlike with Minos and Sisyphus, the narrative of Judas isn’t really salvageable. On top of that, Judas was regretful of his treacherous actions and his last act was to take his own life. Surely that would have put him in the 7-3 forest and we would have seen some kind of buildup to him already, no? Not to mention, using Judas would break the trend of keeping actual biblical figures in ULTRAKILL to a minimum and make it closer to real world Christianity, which is the opposite of what it’s trying to be. Cassius and Brutus: I will concede that this is entirely a matter of preference but I think having a dual Prime Soul boss fight would be unreasonably difficult, and not for the reasons it’s supposed to be. The Prime Soul bosses are known for moving fast and hitting hard. The whole point of them is that a 1v1 with them is an endurance contest. They’re not comparable to the Red/Blue duos because those duos are just beefed up versions of regular enemies which are already designed to be fought in groups. Prime Souls are fundamentally designed to be significantly better than you on their own and having to fight two at once would be near impossible to balance properly. Just as characters though, I think Cassius’ and Brutus’ biggest strength is also their biggest weakness: they were real people. Unlike Minos and Sisyphus, they had extensive lives which had multiple noteworthy events in them, and not just a vague, possibly short tale that limits what aspects of the character you could pull from. This also means it wouldn’t be difficult to repurpose them in a way that fits the setting of ULTRAKILL, they aren’t intrinsically tied to one major event so it’s entirely possible to reinterpret the context of the character while keeping them recognizable. That being said, being real people sort of does away with the mysticism the Prime Soul characters’ names carry. Minos and Sisyphus were major characters in Greek mythology, for milennia their names have been intertwined with tales of gods and monsters and so when those characters appear, you instantly know they’re going to be a big deal. Cassius and Brutus don’t have that luxury, they’re most well known for a political assassination. Not an insignificant event per se, but one that we can rationally understand and recognize as real and tangible. I’m sure the two could be rewritten into something good in ULTRAKILL if they really wanted to but overall I think there are easier and better choices for them to tackle. Jesus: Jesus doesn’t exist in ULTRAKILL. Straight up. Go back and watch the beginning of the 7-1 section of the second developer stream. All iconography present in the game that could reasonably traced back to Jesus has been rewritten to hold significance unrelated to him in some fashion. The crosses now represent the tree of life. The paintings that use imagery related to him and the Holy Spirit in Limbo are stock images that they plan to replace soon. The idols, which many mistake for Mary and the baby Jesus, were only designed to reflect the vague concept of parental love and protection. Between these alternate explanations for the iconography and ULTRAKILL’s avoidance of using biblical characters and concepts directly, the game and its developers have gotten as close as possible to saying that Jesus doesn’t exist without outright saying it. Midas: I know I bashed people saying that Hakita said things without linking a source earlier but I literally can’t link sources in RUclips comments so you’re just going to have to trust me when I say that he has outright spoken against the possibility of Midas. His exact words were: “you’d have to be real dumb to put characters named minos and midas in the same story.” It’s anticlimactic I know, but Occam’s Razor and all that. Not every character needs a big reason to be deconfirmed. Lilith: I don’t know anything about the story of Lilith beyond the brief summary you gave here but that’s not all that important. Being a character that comes from a real Abrahamic religion she falls into the same trap many other predictions do, that being contradicting ULTRAKILL’s attempts to separate itself from any real religion. I’m sure I could find some other significance that would contradict the possibility of her being reimagined in this setting but for now I’ll just leave it at that. Odysseyus: Yeah I got nothing. The Odyssey is incredibly long and there are so many aspects of Odysseus’ character that could easily be reinterpreted into ULTRAKILL’s setting while still being recognizable. I’ve got nothing to say against him but nothing really to say for him either because I don’t know what the thought process is like for the dev team. Ultimately he’s the most plausible of the characters you’ve suggested here, but a prediction is just a prediction at the end of the day so I wouldn’t yet outright call him likely. Although one thing that probably not many people will notice is that the artwork you used to represent Odysseus is both outdated and isn’t outright supposed to be Odysseyus. I happen to be in communications with the artist behind it. It goes by many names but as far as I’m aware Odysseyus has yet to be one (you can even see that he hasn’t decided in the first comment of the post you linked) and the design has changed a bit since the rendition you used here, check his profile and you’ll see what I mean. Prometheus: I think the biggest problem with Prometheus is that he has the potential to be very redundant when present in the same story as ULTRAKILL’s take on Minos. Minos being punished for rebuilding Lust into a paradise could easily be viewed as a parallel to Prometheus’ core narrative of being punished for pushing civilization forward. Not saying it would be impossible, but I definitely think it would be difficult to recontextualize Prometheus in a way that remains recognizable and doesn’t feel redundant. Not inherently a bad choice, just a little too late. The Minotaur Terminal: Hell itself. The blanks are for Hell itself. Act 3 is the perfect time to start dropping hints for people that didn’t follow the ARG that Hell is alive and actively chooses to torment instead of just being the place where it happens. It’s a very thinly veiled secret at this point that demons are created directly by Hell to encourage more suffering. The creation of the Minotaur has nothing to do with the P-3 character.
Hi, I'm the artist that made the red and black skull Prime Soul design. It's pretty nostalgic seeing this particular design reappear for a theory video, and it's cool seeing more and more people using it. I'm mostly just surprised *just* the Phase 1 design was used while talking Odysseus and not the crossbones variation, lol
Getting ready for hakita prime in p-3 🗣️ Also it would be cool that if it is judas, he betrays the player confidence, that when you defeat him a cutscene starts where he talks (similar to gabriel or the other prime bosses) but mid cutscene he regains health and continue figthing. He was faking being defeated so the player will fell confident and didnt expect the battle to continue
A bit like Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom, when you defeat his first phase, he begins to regenerate his health to a comically absurd amount
I once saw a joke suggestion once about a Jesus Prime boss fight and the idea was if you get to close to Jesus he will turn the blood running thru your circuit into wine and that you give V1 a permanent hard damage
I like the idea of Daedalus or Icarus. They are both closely linked to the labyrinth and the Minotaur, and could be interesting seeing as Daedalus’s inventions could be considered the catalyst to humanity’s extinction
I think he would do it at the start, and the interaction would go something like this: "What? Already?" "No, no no no no no" "You aren't supposed to be here!" * summons a flesh prision *
@@rrealifiedHell making the minotaur makes sense lore wise, first off, what else could find the minotaur, a twisted mockery of Minos’s past sins, beautiful and then gift it to him except Hell, the very same entity that saw the earthmovers as beautiful. Also, Hell makes demons, the minotaur is a supreme demon.
What if it’s just like a guy who threw a rock at a window one time but it was a window God really REALLY liked so they sealed him away in the deepest layer of hell for the rest of eternity
Ok hear me out p-3 would be an ice colosseum, crumbling apart. I think it'd be awesome if when you defeat the prison the guy just comes out behind you and sarcastically claps before starting to monologue.
Imagine after P-Ranking all the Prime Sanctums, you unlock a hidden 4th Act of the game where you return to Earth and fight the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, except instead of fighting the first 3 horsemen, you only fight their horses as the horsemen have long since fulfilled their purpose and died. And once you finally meet Death, the 4th and final horseman, sitting on the edge of a cliff overlooking a barren wadteland, who reveals that God asked him to kill God and Death, being the only being who truly knew how God really thought, agreed to it and God's final request was destroy all of his creations. And Death considered the Machines to be the easiest way to pull that off. Now here's the kicker: Death doesn't bleed, as he was made without blood. However, his Scythe contains the blood of every living thing that has ever lived and ever died, and so, parrying is the ONLY way to heal. But there's one other gimmick: Death has zero reason to fight you, so you can chose to either fight him or leave him alone. Either way, maybe a portal to Heaven is opened allowing for Machines to very easily enter Heaven.
@@DivineOrange Considering that the player is already forced to P-Rank every normal level of each Act to unlock the regular P-Levels, my idea isn't that too far fetched.
If Sisyphus was imprisoned in the 6th layer of Hell, guarded by an entire colosseum of enemies, three locked doors, another final door and a warning before it AND an improved flesh prison, I'm genuinely scared of what will guard the third Prime Soul
Maybe it will be some kind of middle ground between Minos and Sisyphus. The rooms leading up to the prime soul will have the dead bodies of every single enemy (that’s not a boss) you fought in the game.
my theory is Odysseus. He sailed for 10 years out of sheer will to see his wife again (souls become prime souls when they have a lot of willpower). He's in the eighth part of the fraud layer in dante's Inferno. He's a greek King and has a connection to a tree (like the tree of life mentioned in 7-1 and the olive tree that was his bed). maybe he stole a ferryman's boat and was punished for it, or maybe he was punished for using the tree of life as a bed. also, titans might not have souls like humans so it probably won't be Prometheus
I propose Tantalus Prime. -Greek king. -Known for his punishment. Being put into a pool near a fruit baring tree, both would move away from him if he tried to eat or drink. -Committed the three sins of Act 3 -Killed his own son as sacrifice. (Violence.) -Tried to trick the gods into eating him. (Fraud.) -The gods loved and trusted him and he was hosting a meal at his house so by committing the other two sins is is also committing a 3rd. (Treachery)
I would also suggest King Lycaon. He basically killed his son and made Zeus eat him and as punishment was made the first werewolf. Could be seen as an act of treachery and violence against god, family, and oneself.
This is my favorite theory and the one I've been running with. With how prevalent trees are in 7-3 I think it would make sense for it to be him. Another theory I saw was nimrod, who created the tower of babel. It would be cool to just enter P3 only to be confronted with a giant winding tower.
Imagine a level that is unlocked by 100% game completion: -all levels P-Ranked (including prime sanctums ofc) -all secrets obtained -all challenges complete. I bring to you: P-P
The prime soul would probably have to have commited the sin of fraud or treachery, since there was no prominent husk in violence. Or maybe hakita brings in someone from heaven. Idk.
Odysseus committed fraud by designing the Trojan Horse. He is also referenced in the Divine Comedy during the fraud chapter. It would be cool if Odysseus Prime’s prison is a trojan horse
You could make the argument that it doesn’t matter what sin the original version of the character is known for. Minos is most known for being treacherous towards Poseidon by refusing to sacrifice the bull and Sisyphus is known for spending his whole life repeatedly getting away with fraudulent behavior, lying to the gods to continuously escape death. ULTRAKILL’s interpretations of the characters it uses for the Prime Souls are wildly different from their original stories so using the original myths as a way to gague who it could be is a faulty system.
Both Minos and Sisyphus were kings in the layers they were sent to, but maybe it was just because those layers were somewhat habitable. In my eyes, if a ruler was sent to Violence they would probably end up running to Fraud or Treachery since Violence is a literal warzone and it'd be very hard to make anything permanent in there.
I'm personally super in favor of Daedalus Prime! Think about it. Daedalus was a talented inventor who was experienced in contraptions and automata, which would create an interesting narrative dynamic with Ultrakill's machines, and with certain enemies such as the Soldier, (We still don't know who created them) Daedalus checks all the criteria in that he has no connection to the real world, yet would still have a place in Ultrakill as a prominent figure of mythology and a close connection with Minos. Daedalus is also fully human and demonstrates a lot of willpower through his creations. Which means he fulfills the requirements to be a prime soul. Yet he's also done plenty of sin in his life, so it's a safe bet he'll end up in hell. Then, there's also a ton of iconic imagery to go with him. Imagine having to fight and navigate your way through a frosty, flesh labyrinth and defeat a 2nd version of the minotaur. Then Daedalus comes in with a bronze and copper color scheme. With wings attached to his back. Would be absolutely epic.
Personally, I think it would be cool to have either Dante, Vergil or both as the prime bosses, since they were the first ones to journey through hell. Also, you can't tell me it _wouldn't_ be hilarious if Vergil Prime's theme suddenly turned into Bury the Light.
5:50 The original greek myth actually never mentions the daughter thing and he never died in it, instead he just was turned back to normal by the Gods when they realized what a mistake it was.
I doubt it,if it were to be "hell itself" then that would mean hell didn't make the other demons, which doesn't really make sense,i think the blank spaces would be the name of someone who would inspire hell to make demons
@@ron9174 well hell itself could have made the minatour and that's the context for the blanked out words. It half makes sense to me but if you think otherwise that's fine
@@notjebbutstillakerbal thats not what im saying, what i'm saying is that hell makes demons without it being mentioned, and if the ̶M̶i̶n̶o̶t̶a̶u̶r was also made by hell then you wouldn't need to mention it's creator since you can figure it out yourself, but it's mentioned in his terminal that he was made by someone/something. Also Hell Mass isn't the only thing that can make demons,In the Leviathan and Mannequin entry,we can see that instead of Hell Mass, you can use living beings to create demons,so it's not like demons can't be created by a human who also used human flesh.
@ron9174 Hell made the mannequins while being inspired by guttermen, there is literally no piece of evidence that suggests that a human can or has ever created a demon. "The fools who attempted would realize far too late that angels were not all that kept them from freedom, as the Garden of Forking Paths is no ordinary labyrinth, but one of malicious intent, overseen with cunning cruelty." (Mannequin terminal entry) The Garden of Forking paths is part of hell, which explains how the garden made mannequins. "The Sullen, in their motionlessness, were eventually fused together by the same force that created the other demons [...]" (Leviathan terminal entry) Hear that? "Same force that created the other demons" which is hell. "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT COULD HAVE ENDED. WAR NO LONGER NEEDED ITS ULTIMATE PRACTICIONER. IT HAD BECOME A SELF-SUSTAINING SYSTEM. MAN WAS CRUSHED UNDER THE WHEELS OF A MACHINE CREATED TO CREATE THE MACHINE CREATED TO CRUSH THE MACHINE. SAMSARA OF CUT SINEW AND CRUSHED BONE. DEATH WITHOUT LIFE. NULL OUROBOROS. ALL THAT REMAINED IS WAR WITHOUT REASON. A MAGNUM OPUS. A COLD TOWER OF STEEL. A MACHINE BUILT TO END WAR IS ALWAYS A MACHINE BUILT TO CONTINUE WAR. (Mysterious book sitting in a alleyway on the 1000-THR "EARTHMOVER" 's back) "YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL, OUTSTRETCHED LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN", Hell finds the EARTHMOVERS beautiful. "Though its creator considered it beautiful, a personalized monument of death and despair, Minos was terrified of the grotesque caricature of his past mistakes and cast it into the Garden of Forking Paths, hoping it would never be seen again." (Minotaur terminal entry) Who is the being sadistic enough to find a mess of flesh and stone that somewhat looks like a bull a beautiful monument and proceed to gift this monstrosity to a man with a terrible past that involves bulls? Maybe the same creature who thinks the giant death lammas beautiful?? Yeah, sounds like the same guy to me. Plus, if you still dont believe hell created the minotaur, read this: Minotaur's entry is written in red text, same as the THR book, which has been proven by the P-2 Arg. Which means Hell Itself wrote both of those. There, i used your own "evidence" against you. So in conclusion: Mannequins = Hell made it; Leviathan = Hell made it; Minotaur = Hell made it; You = Are wrong.
1:12 I might sound crazy but I think the buildup for P-3 will be a gauntlet of fighting the greek giants. Hakita already said that P-2 will be the hardest **normal** encounters in the game, so for it to be a gauntlet wouldn't make sense, and I think just a normal walk like in P-1 would be boring as well. In Dante's Inferno, the giants also serve as the guardians of Treachery, and it could make sense for them to be repurposed as guardians of the third prime soul. Also, the past two prime souls have been greek kings, so for the third one to be a giant wouldn't make sense.
For the build up i predict an archangel. An archangel with the sole task of stopping the prime soul from escaping. An archangel that has the potential to fight one on one with a prime soul that is locked up in *the deepest part of hell* so yeah its a 3 boss in a row
honestly my personal candidate is Eve Prime, she ticks all the boxes for a good final boss - is the original mother of all of humanity, therefore also the mother of every single demon in Ultrakill - is referenced in Dante's Inferno, methinks - betrayed God, therefore ABSOLUTELY fits Treachery - could 100% have a cool motivation to be determined to fight, there's many ways you can take it there
I could actually see Gabriel prime being the boss, instead of a flesh prison fight, it would be a Gabriel with 3 or 4 stages, adding to the difficulty.
And why would that happen??? Angels don’t even form Prime Souls, they just die like Machines and demons. Straight from Hakita. Not only that, but it invalidates his arc and story. Him giving it his all to kill V1 then dying is the perfect end to his character development, bringing him back just for a boss fight is cheap and won’t happen since Husks are the ones that get books to hint at them being the Prime Soul. Why would Act 3 be any different?
I don't really get the hostility but you do you and I was just saying that I could see it happening, I'm not saying it's my grandiose theory with facts and bullshit behind it. So next time before you go out popping hernias over a RUclips comment that wasn't even directed to you (hell you could've just ignored this) maybe fully read and understand what has been written Side note, how would a 4 stage boss fight against gabriel invalidate his story arc? Gabriel is persistent and full of hate against the machine, him coming back from a regular 2 stage boss fight to kill the machine would be in his character.
just imagine that P-3 would be released on april 1st and will be a very big florp with instakill attacks, that would be pretty hilarious but also stupid
In P-3, I want there to be an arena where it is like an open area much like 7-4 where you have to fight hordes and hordes of machines and you have an Earthmover sending rockets and otherstuff at you that you have to kill after beating the gauntlet and you don't climb inside it but find weak spots yourself and kill, all without no checkpoints.
Prometheus Prime works so well with the themes of the Prime bosses its actually insane. Like Minos and Sisyphus, he tried to help humanity by defying god, he has immense willpower, being tortured infinitely, and he fits with the theme of treachery, betraying the gods by helping humanity. And he also fits with the theme of Greek mythology for all of the Prime bosses, and it makes sense that he would be the strongest of them all, being a titan. Also if your theory about treachery is correct about it being ice themed, it would make thematic sense for him being imprisoned there, with him delivering fire to humanity.
Nimrod's name means great hunter. Even in the Bible, it's said that people would see great hunters and say, "that hunter is like Nimrod!" Apparently, it only means idiot because of a sarcastic joke in Looney Tunes involving a really bad hunter that made the use of Nimrod's name into that of an idiot.@@OST-jp4cc
@@RushWheeler The Primes are not just characters from the Bible tho, it's from the Divine Comedy by Dante Aligheri, so if Nimrod doesn't appear in it he won't make the cut. I personally believe Size 2 will be the boss in the P-3 fight
Midas would definitely fit more as a slow, inevitable type final boss for Fraud, like he's just slowly walking towards you in a limited space, and if he catches you, you get turned to gold
I had an idea, Mary queen of scots (also known as bloody mary) perfectly fits violence, she could use the blood tree mechanic in the interpretation of “paint the roses red” she is well known so her husk could be powerful enough to be a prime soul, I feel like her attack pattern would be hard hitting and fast, using swords or troops to fight
You forgot one option. Tantalus Prime. None of the other prime bosses are gods, neither is Tantalus. My reasoning is because Tantalus committed the sin of Treachery against the gods, he did this by taking ambrosia and giving it to his people. He is my personal choice because of well, Treachery. Hope you like my idea on P-3.
fun fact: if you hear closely in all of violence's ost, you can hear some repeating motif, but mostly just glory and minos prime, and hakita really likes hiding prime motif into layers that really includes them the most, maybe not yet in violence but somewhere. Also a repeating concept in violence are the giants, or guys that are bigger than you, swordsmachine, guttertank and gutterman, and the centaur (earthmover)
1:12 imagine if for the 3rd prime soul, the contraption is just the entire level, spawning enemies and trying to kill you with stage hazards. Cuz if it is gonna be the hardest ultrakill bossfight, the strongest enemy we have faced yet, a prision to contain him must be S T R O N G
Plot twist: P-3 just opens and the exit is just there, not even enough space for any layer detail, its just the red metal of the elevator area. There is nothing else
considering the fact that each prime soul is based off an enemy (corpse of king minos and sisyphean insurrectionist) id love to see some kind of prime soul variant of an already existing enemy
Hey, I just theory crafted with someone on a different comment concerning who will be the prime soul in P-3, so I'm just gonna copy and past everything here so more people can see it since it just makes so much sense: @mugiwaramartinez1319: Because of all these I suggest King Nimrod. He ordered the construction of the Tower of Babel which would have challenged Gods reign over heaven (an act of fraud and treachery) and his punishment was the creation of all languages. While he isn't hinted at, I could see it fitting in that the blanks in the Minotaur's entry could fit in the spelling of "King Nimrod." Hakita likely wouldn't make it hell itself since its stated in its entry that it wanted to escape hell and see the sun one last time. Y'know before V1 Lobotomized it. And just a little food for thought, a majority of Violence involves climbing up to a degree, and it could be seen at its peak when fighting the earth moved and in its stage name "Like antennas to Heaven". It could easily be seen in relation to the tower of babel. And if Minos gives us anything to believe, prime souls are well aware of what happens on earth and King Nimrod could have rebuilt the earthmovers in defiance of god and punished by Gabriel @The_Results: Not to mention the fact that 7-S, despite it being a joke level, is a library, and when you go outside and look up, what do you see? A massive tower meaning 7-S could be the tower of babel. But I don't think that the stuff about climbing relates to the size of the tower of babel, it most likely relates to Jacob's ladder, which he also commissioned to build. In the story of Jacob's ladder it is said that he built this ladder off of Jacob's dream in order to make a way to and from the heavens and the earth. This is important because in 7-4 there is a secret book in one of the alleyways which states from the wiki: "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT COULD HAVE ENDED. WAR NO LONGER NEEDED ITS ULTIMATE PRACTITIONER. IT HAD BECOME A SELF-SUSTAINING SYSTEM. MAN WAS CRUSHED UNDER THE WHEELS OF A MACHINE CREATED TO CREATE THE MACHINE TO CRUSH THE MACHINE. YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL, OUTSTRETCHED LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN. YOU WERE BEYOND YOUR CREATORS. YOU REACHED OUT FOR GOD, AND YOU FELL. NONE WERE LEFT TO SPEAK YOUR EULOGY. NO FINAL WORDS, NO CONCLUDING STATEMENT. NO POINT. PERFECT CLOSURE. T H I S I S T H E O N L Y W A Y I T S H O U L D H A V E E N D E D . The pages of the book are blank." The end of the second paragraph clearly is talking about the earthmover and how it's just constantly fighting blindly, but if you think of it in this context, it shows a story of King Nimrod climbing his ladder, and being struck down from it. This would also make a sort of theme when it comes to Kind Nimrod and the 2 other prime souls, as they all defied their creators in their own ways. Minos was passive, standing in protest. Sisyphus was aggressive, building an army. And King Nimrod was reliant/diplomatic, building a ladder to go to paradise and making a library to spread info for all to learn. 3 forms of fighting against the oppression of heaven. Good thinking! Here have a cookie!
@florinaghimpeteanu5944 it would be too oddly specific and strange given the context to randomly have a king’s name in the middle of text that is otherwise completely unrelated. “Hell itself” fits much more naturally and seems to fit in line with the direction that hakita seems to be going with the ultrakill lore (hell being a sentient being)
@@infinityyworks i think your right. i was just trying to give my own guess. i was kinda going off the fact that both primes are kings and looked a lot like a pattern to me
Not only that Minotaur (too lazy to cross it out like its in game) is a demon What are demons made of? Hell mass! Who made all the other demons? Hell itself!
8:51 I can't remember if this was thought of before or after this video came out, but the blank letters could be "Hell Itself" cause we know is alive, and the fact that it perfectly lines up is very interesting
2:37 the prime souls are entities that have decided to exist out of sheer willpower to do so V1 and V2 appear to be sentient, due to having complex thoughts and mannerisms - think to Hank the skeleton, or V2 sarcastically sitting on the throne - a soul likely fused with the metal in a human sacrifice to get the machine working like Guttermen
Rules for qualifying as a prime sanctum candidate based on what hakita has said and past experiences. 1. Needs to have something to do with the second layer of their respective act (Minos is the king of layer 2, Sisyphus built an army in layer 4.) 2. Needs be some what seen or hinted to throughout the game (Paintings and books of Minos and Sisyphus for example) 3 and 4. Has to be known as someone from some form of mythology and/or known as someone who has challenged the gods and failed. (Minos fighting for his right to love, Sisyphus fighting for freedom and originally tricking the gods to stay alive.) 5. Cannot be an already established major character, angelic or demonic being, or maybe or maybe not a machine. (Major character would be lazy and not likely to happen, angelic beings are unlikely to happen due to Gabriel's slaughter of them as shown at the end of act one, and even then angelic beings are soul-like themselves as shown with the virtues, and demonic beings are just fallen angels and/or mindless/tormented beyond mental function which would not be good story wise, and with machines, although I do think it is unlikely, take all these with a grain of salt since it would be like hakita to switch it up on us, and due to things like the iconic "Mankind Is Dead. Blood Is Fuel. Hell Is Full" and with V2 clearly having emotions like being enraged and bowing at the start of the first fight, machines could maybe generate a kind of artificial soul, keep it in mind.) Hope this helps and maybe sparks some idea's! Let me know if I should tweak somethings and don't mind to give some insight if you want!
Machines don’t have souls and definitely cannot go prime. Also demons are not fallen angels, they are Hell mass stuffed into a stone shell. Angels don’t have afterlife’s so they can’t turn into a Husk to turn into a prime
Because of all these I suggest King Nimrod. He ordered the construction of the Tower of Babel which would have challenged Gods reign over heaven (an act of fraud and treachery) and his punishment was the creation of all languages. While he isn't hinted at, I could see it fitting in that the blanks in the Minotaurs entry could fit in the spelling of "King Nimrod." Hakita likely wouldn't make it hell itself since its stated in its entry that it wanted to escape hell and see the sun one last time. Y'know before V1 Lobotomized it. And just a little food for thought, a majority of Violence involves climbing up to a degree, and it could be seen at its peak when fighting the earth moved and in its stage name "Like antennaes to Heaven". It could easily be seen in relation to the tower of babel. And if Minos gives us anything to believe, prime souls are well aware of what happens on earth and King Nimrod could have rebuilt the earthmovers in defiance of god and punished by Gabriel.
@@lyallaurum Not to mention the fact that 7-S, despite it being a joke level, is a library, and when you go outside and look up, what do you see? 🍪
All these “clues” for Nimrod seem like stretch’s just to make the idea make sense. Hints about a prime soul are IN the layer they are mentioned. Is there a prime mentioned anywhere in Violence? No. That layer is about Hell, especially the Minotaur. Yeah there is a tower in 7-S but you know what’s related to Hell specifically? The library of babel. Do you know what could possibly hold an infinite number of books? A tower. Yeah it’s a tower but it’s still the library of babel.
I think that if P-3 boss does somehow end up being Judas Prime, (which I kinda doubt because it doesn't fit with the other greek characters for Minos and Sisyphus) that the pre-boss challenge similar to the Flesh Prison and the P-2 Guantlet would be Brutus and Cassius Prime, a dual Prime Soul boss similar to the two Cerberus on 0-5, and fighting two Prime Bosses at once would be horrifying and is what I think the pre-boss challenge would be for P-3
we'll probably know who its gonna be when greed releases since the second layer in each act is when a king is introduced and both kings ended up being the prime soul
Jesus has been confirmed non-canon in Ultrakill My personal theory is that P-3 is the battle against God who imprisoned himself in Hell for his actions Other creative theories I've seen in the community are Hell itself and Hercules Prime
I think Prometheus takes the cake for P-3's boss fight. I mean, he (or at least his concept) is most likely for the bossfight. He fits the criteria for Treachery, like how Minos' theme is Lust (city of Lust, viewed punishing lust as unnecessary, etc) and Sisyphus is associated with Heresy (challenging Heaven itself, saying "fuck it we ball" all the goddamn time). Prometheus, after all, betrayed the gods by giving fire to humanity, which would fit Treachery. Plus, he's also from Greek Mythology like the other two
The Prime Soul will come from Fraud, not Treachery. The set up for a prime soul is throughout a layer and stuffing it, in what is supposed to be a climax layer, is messy. He was also not human in the myth, it just makes more sense to choose a human character than dramatically change the story of a Titan.
I have the theory that the p-3 soul might be Daedalus, he is a greek king like minos and sisyphus, and he matches the violence layer, he build a impossible maze for a minotaur.
The prime isn’t going to be from Violence, it’s going to be from Fraud so it doesn’t count. Hell made the Minotaur and the labyrinth so that also doesn’t apply
1. Daedalus was NOT a king, you are tweaking. 2. Daedalus was never mentioned in Violence or in the game at all so far whereas Minos and Sisyphus got mentioned
I've kept a theory that might work well for P-3. Atlas Prime. 1: Keeps with Greek theme. 2: Atlas was condemned to hold the sky, so it would fit for him to be at the bottom of the world. (the sky might just be switched for hell itself) 3: Instead of a typical prison, just hear me out, flesh shackles. Living, breathing shackles that keep Atlas holding the sky. They could possibly attack with whips that have long range. 4: What could be the most badass fight ever. Imagine freeing Atlas, yet the ground rumbles. Atlas lets go off the sky, and an arena sized chunk of rock becomes the fighting area, then V1 and Atlas go into free fall, straight into something like Earths core or a gigantic pit of lava. The fight could be timed, maybe making up for not having a huge enemy gauntlet.
Each prime soul was a king in one of the acts layers, in another theory of yours, you said that fraud was going to have a gold and black color theme, if the color is gold, then it would make sense to have Midas as the final prime soul.
No. No it wouldn’t. Midas’ whole myth has to do with GREED. We already did that layer. Greed already has a Gold color layout so why would there be another layer like that? The idea that Fraud would be Gold and black came from one custom level so it absolutely is not a good source for layer design
I accepted the criticism on my past predictions videos and I feel like this should be better! Let me know!
DISCLAIMER:
Every theory or prediction in this video is not fact, it is merely what I would like to see in P-3, do not take it as fact as no one besides Hakita knows what is going to happen next for ULTRAKILL. I think it'd be cool if the Prime Soul just jumpscared you immediately and then after a multi-phase boss fight, you go through an entire level covered in bloodstains and a bunch of destroyed blast doors, implying that there was a P-2-like gauntlet guarding them but they already escaped.
I feel like the one thing that ruins Judas Prime is the fact that Prime Souls usually have an immense willpower:
- Minos wanted to avenge humanity and take revenge on Gabriel after his hard work was destroyed.
Jesus doesn’t exist which means the thing that Judas is known for, does not exist

The two theories I’ve heard of what can fit ____ ______ in Minotaur entry is hell itself, and king Icarus, which is why I’m a bit surprised to not see any theories on Icarus prime
Alright let’s do this:
1:30
This is actually already confirmed to be not true. In the developer commentary stream they outright say that P-2 will still have the most difficult normal encounters in the game, so if P-3 does have a gauntlet before it, it likely won’t be either as hard or as long, probably both.
Lucifer:
Yes it very much is a stupid idea.
Judas:
What kind of interpretation of Judas could ULTRAKILL possibly have?
Cassius and Brutus:
I will concede that this is entirely a matter of preference but I think having a dual Prime Soul boss fight would be unreasonably difficult, and not for the reasons it’s supposed to be.
Jesus:
Jesus doesn’t exist in ULTRAKILL.
Midas:
I know I bashed people saying that Hakita said things without linking a source earlier but I literally can’t link sources in RUclips comments so you’re just going to have to trust me when I say that he has outright spoken against the possibility of Midas. His exact words were:
“you’d have to be real dumb to put characters named minos and midas in the same story.”
It’s anticlimactic I know, but Occam’s Razor and all that. Not every character needs a big reason to be deconfirmed.
Lilith:
I don’t know anything about the story of Lilith beyond the brief summary you gave here but that’s not all that important.
Odysseyus:
Yeah I got nothing.
Prometheus:
I think the biggest problem with Prometheus is that he has the potential to be very redundant when present in the same story as ULTRAKILL’s take on Minos.
The Minotaur Terminal:
Hell itself.

And Death considered the Machines to be the easiest way to pull that off.
Now here's the kicker: Death doesn't bleed, as he was made without blood. However, his Scythe contains the blood of every living thing that has ever lived and ever died, and so, parrying is the ONLY way to heal.

If Sisyphus was imprisoned in the 6th layer of Hell, guarded by an entire colosseum of enemies, three locked doors, another final door and a warning before it AND an improved flesh prison, I'm genuinely scared of what will guard the third Prime Soul
I hope you like guttermen
Maybe it will be some kind of middle ground between Minos and Sisyphus. The rooms leading up to the prime soul will have the dead bodies of every single enemy (that’s not a boss) you fought in the game.
and p-ranking it as well
@@notjebbutstillakerbal I don't like guttermen, I LOVE THEM HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
@@trentgrasshoff2134me who unlocked every enemy for sandbox:
my theory is Odysseus.
-Committed the three sins of Act 3
-Killed his own son as sacrifice. (Violence.)
-Tried to trick the gods into eating him. (Fraud.)
-The gods loved and trusted him and he was hosting a meal at his house so by committing the other two sins is is also committing a 3rd.

Ok, hear me out.
*GOD PRIME*
Both Minos and Sisyphus were kings in the layers they were sent to, but maybe it was just because those layers were somewhat habitable. In my eyes, if a ruler was sent to Violence they would probably end up running to Fraud or Treachery since Violence is a literal warzone and it'd be very hard to make anything permanent in there.

I'm personally super in favor of Daedalus Prime! Think about it. Daedalus was a talented inventor who was experienced in contraptions and automata, which would create an interesting narrative dynamic with Ultrakill's machines, and with certain enemies such as the Soldier, (We still don't know who created them)
Daedalus checks all the criteria in that he has no connection to the real world, yet would still have a place in Ultrakill as a prominent figure of mythology and a close connection with Minos.
Fym they were the first to journey through Hell, the entire story is about them encountering centuries worth of people who were already there

@@ron9174 well hell itself could have made the minatour and that's the context for the blanked out words. It half makes sense to me but if you think otherwise that's fine
@ron9174 hell makes demons. The demons are formed when hell mass is poured into a shell. And guess what the -Minotaur's- appearance is.

(Minotaur terminal entry) Who is the being sadistic enough to find a mess of flesh and stone that somewhat looks like a bull a beautiful monument and proceed to gift this monstrosity to a man with a terrible past that involves bulls? Maybe the same creature who thinks the giant death lammas beautiful?? Yeah, sounds like the same guy to me. Plus, if you still dont believe hell created the minotaur, read this: Minotaur's entry is written in red text, same as the THR book, which has been proven by the P-2 Arg. Which means Hell Itself wrote both of those.
There, i used your own "evidence" against you.
So in conclusion:
Mannequins = Hell made it;
Leviathan = Hell made it;
Minotaur = Hell made it;

Those 10 characters that are censcored, you wanna know what fits nicely in there? "Hell itself"
''i feel like it would be a purple icy landscape'' i think that the next prime soul could be prometheus prime the god of fire''
For the build up i predict an archangel. An archangel with the sole task of stopping the prime soul from escaping. An archangel that has the potential to fight one on one with a prime soul that is locked up in *the deepest part of hell* so yeah its a 3 boss in a row
4:36 so basically ornstein and smough on steroids
honestly my personal candidate is Eve Prime, she ticks all the boxes for a good final boss
- is the original mother of all of humanity, therefore also the mother of every single demon in Ultrakill
- is referenced in Dante's Inferno, methinks
- betrayed God, therefore ABSOLUTELY fits Treachery
- could 100% have a cool motivation to be determined to fight, there's many ways you can take it there
I could actually see Gabriel prime being the boss, instead of a flesh prison fight, it would be a Gabriel with 3 or 4 stages, adding to the difficulty.
So next time before you go out popping hernias over a RUclips comment that wasn't even directed to you (hell you could've just ignored this) maybe fully read and understand what has been written
Side note, how would a 4 stage boss fight against gabriel invalidate his story arc? Gabriel is persistent and full of hate against the machine, him coming back from a regular 2 stage boss fight to kill the machine would be in his character.
no.
Of course, the one that made the Minotaur is most likely
Arsi Hakita, third Prime Soul.
just imagine that P-3 would be released on april 1st and will be a very big florp with instakill attacks, that would be pretty hilarious but also stupid
The blanked out name in the minotaur entry is for "Hell itself"
at 8:42 King Nimrod fit perfectly there and he's a pretty good candidate for P-3
Nimrod has connections to an idiot, idiot prime? Also nimrod did not make the Minotaur, Hell did
Nimrod's name means great hunter. Even in the Bible, it's said that people would see great hunters and say, "that hunter is like Nimrod!" Midas would definitely fit more as a slow, inevitable type final boss for Fraud, like he's just slowly walking towards you in a limited space, and if he catches you, you get turned to gold

@mugiwaramartinez1319: Because of all these I suggest King Nimrod. And if Minos gives us anything to believe, prime souls are well aware of what happens on earth and King Nimrod could have rebuilt the earthmovers in defiance of god and punished by Gabriel
@The_Results: Not to mention the fact that 7-S, despite it being a joke level, is a library, and when you go outside and look up, what do you see? A massive tower meaning 7-S could be the tower of babel. But I don't think that the stuff about climbing relates to the size of the tower of babel, it most likely relates to Jacob's ladder, which he also commissioned to build. In the story of Jacob's ladder it is said that he built this ladder off of Jacob's dream in order to make a way to and from the heavens and the earth. This is important because in 7-4 there is a secret book in one of the alleyways which states from the wiki:

The end of the second paragraph clearly is talking about the earthmover and how it's just constantly fighting blindly, but if you think of it in this context, it shows a story of King Nimrod climbing his ladder, and being struck down from it. The true P-3 boss is going to be Ultra cancerous rodent prime
Rules for qualifying as a prime sanctum candidate based on what hakita has said and past experiences.
1. Needs to have something to do with the second layer of their respective act (Minos is the king of layer 2, Sisyphus built an army in layer 4.)
2. Needs be some what seen or hinted to throughout the game (Paintings and books of Minos and Sisyphus for example)
3 and 4. Has to be known as someone from some form of mythology and/or known as someone who has challenged the gods and failed. (Minos fighting for his right to love, Sisyphus fighting for freedom and originally tricking the gods to stay alive.)
5. Hell Is Full" and with V2 clearly having emotions like being enraged and bowing at the start of the first fight, machines could maybe generate a kind of artificial soul, keep it in mind.)
Hope this helps and maybe sparks some idea's!

P-3 sneaks
Boss name is prime prime!
The idea of P-3's Flesh Prison being a Flesh Tesseract sounds really cool and interesting to me.
we'll probably know who its gonna be when greed releases since the second layer in each act is when a king is introduced and both kings ended up being the prime soul
No they are not, lust is 2nd in act 1 and greed is 1st in act 2

Other creative theories I've seen in the community are Hell itself and Hercules Prime
Hell itself won’t happen and Hercules is a refreshing thing to hear but does not seem likely
Iced/Frozen enemies having the same properties as armor (bouncing physical projectiles like bombs, shotgun bullets)
2. Daedalus was never mentioned in Violence or in the game at all so far whereas Minos and Sisyphus got mentioned
my dog prime
4:53 hakita has said that jesus doesn't exist in ultrakill lore
even if he did, why would he become a prime soul?
I've kept a theory that might work well for P-3. Atlas Prime.
1: Keeps with Greek theme.
2: Atlas was condemned to hold the sky, so it would fit for him to be at the bottom of the world. (the sky might just be switched for hell itself)
3: Instead of a typical prison, just hear me out, flesh shackles.
