Bravo Tyree! I totally agree!! Most people think they need a Rolex to Flex, but I go the opposite way. I don't need to show the world I made it by flexing a Rolex. I have my paid off house and early retirement for that. lol. Only real men and women can flex a Timex. Your daughter is adorable!!
Thanks for the support! 😎 You're absolutely right, we don't need to flex! For me my watch is more about communicating who I am and my values and a Timex does that better than any watch. Also thank you my girls are my life and they are also #teamtimex as you know 🙌🏾
Can't wait for Timex to (eventually) sponsor you. I like the pace of your videos -- you aren't obnoxious and loud nor are you too quiet and soft spoken. For some reason most of the Watch guys on YT are one or the other.
(Not so much) accidentally after having bought a Timex Tiburon yesterday, I stumbled across your channel this morning. The first impression of the watch is very solid. I have a fondness for workhorse watches and if nothing unexpected happens the Tiburon will be a great automatic companion alongside my eco-drive Promasters. Keep up the good vibes. Greetings and a sub from Germany.
That is awesome! You'll have to keep me posted on how it handles in your collection! And danke! what part are Germany are your from? I've had some great times in Germany when I lived in Europe
Absolutely correct 👍 . I can add #6 no fear of service costs, my old Rolex cost me £1100 in servicing over 6 years, last time it broke I decided I was fed up throwing good money after bad. I wear Casios and AliExpress watches now, and I'm much happier 😁
@@WristUnwound I still have it for sentimental reasons, it is a Datejust 16220 black dial with an engine turned steel bezel. I wore it every day for nearly twenty five years. In that time the brand image and prices changed remarkably.
You are right, the image has been tarnished, I have personal experience of their arrogant UK service centre staff and stories of ADs behaviour are horrible. Buy a Grand Seiko instead.
Thanks! She is my favorite #TeamTimex member and yeah, I agree about the fun factor, do you have a favorite Timex in your collection or one that you’re looking at!
Very much agree my friend! More attainable, less stressful to wear and some are better looking than Rolex 🫣 I will say though, I do get stressed wearing some of my vintage Atlantis or Ironmans 😅 Awesome video man!
*Timex Q dual time, with the green and black, it was a no brainer for me, I bought 3 just in case someone robs me for it (lol), I've collected all the rolex I need, they're all in a safe deposit box gaining value over the years, maybe in 2040 I'll sell them*
I love the Q series and the green & black is a classic! I bought all the colors for the Chrono GMT as well as the regular 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Which Rolex’s do you keep in the safe deposit box?
@ 3 Daytonas, 5 gmts, 4 presidents, 1 yachtmaster, 2 subs and 1 thunderbird. All spread out in 5 locations in the country all trophies of 20+ years of bonuses and hard work 🏆🏅
@ yeah I wear them to specific occasions controlled locations and I know who is going to be there and I make sure there are alot of firearms in my favor around me. I don't wear it out in the open in America. When I travel to Japan for work i wear it freely that's a higher society than here in America.
@@ShortLifeHax I've always wanted to travel to Japan, I've spent a lot of time in Korea but never made the jump over. Did you look any Grand Seiko's while in Japan?

Just need to throw some timex in that rotation now 🙌🏾
If I may, what kind of Rolex did you used to have?

I think if Rolex still had its legacy reputation I'd love one but now its more of a status symbol than a tool which is off putting to me.

So glad I stumbled upon your channel! Love Timex, actually ordered a Timex Expedition the other day.
Subbed :)
Thanks for the support! You're going to love that Timex. 👍 which variation did you order?
Nice video! I like how your daughter had a cameo. 😊 You make excellent points, especially the fun factor of Timex. Rolex is quite boring.

I have a timex harborside. Bling bling

Shhhh 🤫 that’s my secret 😝 but yes
Knowing me I’d just leave it somewhere by accident….. poof $10k gone…..😫
I can definitely relate to that, I'm pretty sure I lost my first watch somewhere 😝
