I'm so proud of being a Filipino that street vendors and tricycle drivers can speak English maybe not so fluently but enough for them to convey the information you are asking for. I miss the street foods in my country.
Yeah, so proud that Filipinos may not speak English fluently but we can understand.
Pagkatapos yan ng tondekiman lilipad takore
Wrong, although the video shows that please have a friend that can speak fluent English and tagalog. Otherwise you're just going to embarrass yourself and look stupid. If you only speak English then save yourself the embarrassment or at least learn some tagalog.
**I been to Philippines three times
If you travel in somepart of asia only few can speak or understand English, unlike in the Philippines they can talk to you or even help you.

Aww the people from other country admiring Philippines makes me happy as a filipino. We respect youl
i believe that---before eating street food in philippines, u must know the feeling of hunger after school when u only have 5 pesos on your pocket. With that u will appreciate the taste and enjoy how you eat it.
I feel you, I miss those days after school😔
Isang kwek kwek lang makakain mo sa 5 piso marekeyks
We can only miss something when it's gone and only appreciate when it comes back. I have been there. It is so sad to see so many that still go hungry today. I hope you no longer go hungry now and the appreciation of every meal will never be taken for granted. 😊❤💜
So true❤️
Hello Philippines 🇵🇭
Love from Nepal 🇳🇵
Well I already visited Philippines it’s a beautiful country with very kind ,friendly and beautiful peoples.and I have tasted street foods while I was there.and specially I missed Pork lechon and Sinigang na baboi it’s really testy anyway thanks to my beautiful friends and special one-appreciate a lot.
Hope so I will visit once again soon 🔜🤘
I think what I like about this guy is that he is not trying to present his take in a high society way hes a regular guy works hard to do what he loves. I hope he can eventually do well for himself by giving such a common guy approach 10 stars bro awesome

I can't relate because I'm Filipino, not a fond of street food and hate vinegar used as sauce.
It is so true. I love vinegar with everything. Especially spicy oniony garlicky vinegar 😄

Philippines is a very nice place. Especially in the part of Mindanao where ordinary people are glad that they have foreigners visiting their place. I remember when I visit General Santos City, I visit the night food market there. Vendors are really nice they entertained us and help us to know the culture of Filipinos. It is entertaining and interesting, even some of them don't fluently speak English they tried their best to communicate with us. I hope I can visit the different places in the Philippines.
They are happy because they plan to kidnap you

Philippine street food tip: I recommend going to the carts with clear looking cooking oil (when you see the bottom of the pan), it means it's new. Most street vendors doesn't change cooking oil for a long time to save money.
Helpful tip. Thanks
Yeah but experts in cooking says used oil is better than the new oil. Also for saving money.
@@nathaliegalicia9167 but usually most vendors follow the sanitary guidelines of cooking street foods.😊
Yes, and many times the food sits out in hot weather for hours and hours - a recipe for some serious bacterial growth. You just have to be careful. But Filipino street food is pretty darn good.

please go to places in philippines that is not manila ... u barely saw and tasted the best delicacies in our country and manila holds only the minority of it
as a person from manila, i agree
Syempre guys yan ang well-known city by foreigners so if nag country hopping sya best destinatioj nya is Manila then punta na sya agad ng ibang bansa.
I married a girl in Batac Ilocos Norte and her father cooked many delicious delicacies for me , he caught and fried eel from the sea
We tried pigs buto
He butchered two dogs
The meat was really delicious
I also had so many different types of shellfish they harvested fresh from the sea, the father also went out early in the morning and caught and cooked frogs and eggs for us , we also had goat kiliwan, and lecheon, and quail eggs , pancit and lumpia, tocino , empanadas, longanisa, the list goes on, I really loved experiencing life in the province and the exotic foods , in a beautiful setting
He did

Sonny, in the Philippines if you begin your convo with a person by addressing males as kuya (kooyah) or females as ate (ahtay) it will open many more doors for you. The Philippines is a fun, relaxed place, but they are very serious about their forms of address.
Kalbo Mataba rn
Yes, that's correct. We're very respectful of others & this is very apparent in how we address each other.
How does that work? You just start your sentence with one of those words or do you say like "hello kuya" then begin what you wanted to say?
B. S. Yessir
B. S. Its like saying hello sir, hello maam no maam no sir thank you sir thank you maam...same thing with kuya(older male) and (older female)ateh.
I don’t know why but his voice is the perfect voice for food reviews.

actually the guy who says hello his right some of the comments ive read says kamusta but kamusta is for "how are you" which is the right way to say in tagalog "kamusta" but because we dont have tagalog for hi or hello we just then say the same word in English we dont even have to blame someone because ebglish is our second language even i have the most flappiest english among the comments
that even came from spanigh "como esta" kamusta hehe
guardian devil oo, correct ka
Isn't not Mabuhay? Like... Mabuhay! Kamusta ka? Or should we say 'oy?' The informal/casual manner of greeting someone you are close with.
I'm almost surprised that the kid you asked says NO to banana, she is just saying no out of shyness. Filipino courtesy, when someone asks you if you like that food, they would think you will buy one for them, thats why they say no. Weird but true. 😓😌
She did not understand English that's why 🙏🏻😀

This video has the best Filipino interactions ever! The pedicab & fishball guy AND ateng suplada made me cry with laughter. Really hurt my sides!

Next time you go to the Philippines, try going to Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines if you want more exotic foods but get a good guide who is fluent to couple of dialects we speak there and one who really knows the culture. Yes I am from that region and that region is one of the places that has the most preserved culture you will learn why when you get there I don't wanna spoil it, or you can google it I'm pretty sure a lot of college students there have already put it in the internet lol But yes, you have to go there if you want to experience the whole culture of the Philippines.
I your still reading this comment I appreciate that. And I promise, you won't regret reading it especially when you actually go there and experience the culture. Thank me later when you get there.
