I'd say a business analyst role (common in management consulting would be useful). There's also summer internships in business analyst roles, look up business analyst intern if you're interested!

So I am curious to know that in American system, an MBA is needed for product management roles, or one can break-in just by an MIS ? Your inputs would be really appreciated.

Basically business student can become data scientist easily. Data Science itself part of business obviously it combines tech too.
