I liked the old amp better at the higher volume. Nice ZZ Top kinda sound! Cheers and thanks for the review.

I agree. You can't hear it on the room mic but the speaker "flub" sound reminds me of old Billy Gibbons stuff. It's pretty cool for some stuff. The strat makes it more pronounced over the Tele. Thanks for watching

Nicely riffed. Thanks for sparing us the shrill.
The USA model sounded solid and thick.
The SE model not so much - kinda skinny.
Curious how the now Made In Mexico tweed IV stacks up with the older USA and the newer MIM IV SE models just demonstrated.
    Thanks for sharing.

That pro jr IV se sounds great imo, especially if you want the traditional cleaner bf/sf Fender sound. Thanks for the comparison

Thanks for the watch. It's a fantastic amp and loving it more and more. Especially love it with a delay pedal and some reverb

Very cool comparison. Ty for doing this. I'm a producer and I'm looking for a small, tube, low watt amp for the studio and these are def on my list.

They are fantastic little amps. Way more dynamic and touch sensitive over the Blues Jr. A no frills all tone kinda amp. Wish I had a better setup for recording live video and audio so you really can hear the differences. Hopefully my verbal descriptions helped! Thanks for the watch

Could be the speaker. I'd also like to add that I found in my USA Pro Jr. that the tubes make a huge difference. I changed my Power & Pre amp tubes (I had a bunch on hand to choose from) and every tube changed the character.

I agree. I experimented with tube swaps in my 64 Supro. Simple class A amp with just a volume knob and that's it. Every tube I swapped (brand wise) would change the character of the amp. Some sounded hotter, others cleaner, some dark some bright

hey bro! have you tried using a pedalboard in your amps might bring some difference to your drives and distortion. You would definatley see a change in tone, makes for a good practice times when you want to jam some good music! :)

I ran a few pedals. Tube Screamers, Compressor and some slap back delay. It takes them very very well. Love how much wider the sound is with some Delay or Reverb. Once thing about these amps is due to the small cab it's very 1 dimensional. But yes pedals bring it to loife

Thanks I picked that guitar up for $159 on Amazon as a mod platform and it surprised me so much I decided to keep it stock. It's a Leo Jamyz TL Resonance X.

I'm liking my MIM a lot more now. It's still too bright for some of my guitars but I darken it up with a tube screamer with the tone rolled back
