Just a note of hope re the future of music and l bands... My 14 Yr old daughter and friends seem to have hugely wider tastes in music than my peers ever had. We were very stuck in our genre... My daughter whilst mainly into R&B/Soul UK Hip Hop, etc.. She also checks out occasional things from unsigned rock bands & Singers on bandcamp... Electronic artists.... Oldies.... 60s rock/pop.... You name it. I am hopeful for the future. I think youngsters have a more alternative and tuned ear for cool music now than my gen X in as much as whilst many of us were into 'cool' scenes masses still consumed Pop and crappy poppy dance etc.... I know that doesn't relate to promoters booking stuff but I think it will feed in as she grows up and goes out and her friends are the same they like live music too and are really open to hearing new things so I'm hopeful there will be better times ahead for live musicians and a backlash against the kind of posh boy/middle class artists who dominate now

I truly hope AI doesn't take over music. There will never be anything as good as watching a musician (you being one of them) who truly loves playing and become emotionally attatched to what they are playing in the moment.
