Well, I woke up to a short doc on Steve that was great. Many wonderful photos along with the history. That brought up a great interview with Steve at Sweetwater. What a life- Les Paul when he was 4, Texas playing the blues, on to Chicago meeting the founders of the blues and playing with them. On to S.F. music scene and the rest is history. Now hear them live. Perfect Steve Miller Band sandwich! I saw him at S.F. Festival On the Green in 2016. Fantastic just like here. Cheers 🎉 🕉
@@bradwest4821What? I’m in shock now! That’s Amazing! I thought he was Sixty Something. Unreal! Just like Macca! They are both minor miracles! We are not going to see this again. Macca 60 years in music and Miller 50. Nobody today is going to last this long. Enjoy it while you can and they are still with us. I sure do! 😊
My brother-in-law Randy G, my son Ronnie G, and my husband Ronnie G. All our past enjoyed playing and singing Steve Miller Band songs. RIP you are all missed ,but never forgotten! LOVE MG❤
Fantastic !!! I listened to them for the first time on holiday with friends in Amsterdam in the coffee shops 😇, it was 1984 I was 16 years old... wonderful memories.
Have d enjoyed and loved his music all my life, and I’m 75 next Tuesday. Saw him at the Fillmore the night before I shipped out for Nam. He was already phenomenal!
This man got me in trouble with my parents because I stole the keys to their friends van just so I could listen to this band play Space Intro and Fly Like an Eagle on eight track. I was ten years old and I was hooked. I just recently saw him in Huntsville, Al. for the first time. He still has it. Although, we got the four-piece band version.
Thanks for posting this. My first chance to hear a concert at Red Rocks (40+ year bucker list) and and incredible experience. Steve still has the chops and what a place to hear that sound.! Best band organist in the business !
Seeing Red Rocks on a screen gives no vibe. You have to be there to really experience the thrill. I can't even count how many concerts i was lucky enough to be there, and i miss it so much. I even made a short film there in high school. It got an A+.
Thank you ... corrected my date. GRATEFUL DEAD - 1978 The Grateful Dead’s maiden run at Red Rocks came on July 7-8, 1978. That two-night stand sold out, and some say these shows ushered in the modern-day jam-band movement. The following year, the Dead shifted to three nights as they preferred to play multiple nights rather than a single show @@richardstone1454

AMAZING! He’s still hot and full of energy

Hang it up. When one becomes a parody of themselves, time to retire.
Sounds pretty good to me. Rockin guitar and singing at 79 - fuck yes.
🥳🥸🥵🖕
Always somebody available to poop on something.
Sometimes that’s the case. Not at this concert. Not this guy. Quit kickin’ sabd and go eat a cheeseburger!😊
