We make a combination of oat groats, millet and buckwheat in the instant pot. Then everyone adds whatever they want to their own bowl - raisins, walnuts, vanilla, cinnamon, banana, apple. Really good.
The deli meat recipe was more than worth the price of admission. 😄 You could also release that as its own video. I’m sure a lot of people would love that! 🥪
It is on the channel as it's own video actually :)
The lasagna is a perfect recipe for the camper van- no oven. Instant pot is my friend!
New drinking game 🎉
Every time Wooly (sp?) turns on the water - drink! 🥤 😂
That is a DANGEROUS game - especially if you binge the videos
And it's a nickname, so spelling is somewhat arbitrary - I usually go with Woolie :) But yours works too!
I've made the West African Peanut Stew following the recipe from the WFPB Cooking Show. It is very very good. I'll have to try your version soon
To lower a pan into an IPOT fold up a sheet of foil to form a strap. Put it under your pan. You should have enough length to comfortable hold the strap and lower your pan into your IPOT. Also a snap to remove it from pot.
Thanks for the info!
I like using my instant pot for my meal preps: cooking beans 🫘 and sweet potatoes 🥔. It makes my life easier.
Chili, soups, and stews are great done in the instant pot. Comfort 101.
❤ from Vancouver, BC.
Right? Best machine.
We do all different kinds of porridge, you can mix any kind of grains that you like in the instant pot with the porridge function for 40mins. I like to mix black rice, wild red rice, pearl barley, with Chinese dates, Gouchi berries, dried black mulberries! Some time I put the porridge into the Vitamix and take the porridge smoothie to go for the morning! Millets and crushed butternut squash porridge is very famous in China, we like to eat scallion pancakes with it!
Thanks for sharing! That sounds awesome. I've never thought to mix with berries in it - I do that if I'm just making straight up single-serving oatmeal sometimes
I learnt more about what to cook ¬ cook today. Thanks - by your family giving revues- it helps me decide what to fix. Please thank your family for me!!!!! See you next video. YES- more instant pot recipes would be good!!! God bless you & your family from grandma Katie in Oregon. FAVORITE was LASAGNA😊😮
You are so welcome! Glad this helped you learn :)
I love fruit. Fresh. Frozen. Cooked. Fruit! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Me toooooo!
Love this!! Yes part 2!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Btw I loooove warm fruit, my fav desserts are made with pears /apples/berries..😋😋😋
It’s like they need to make a cradle with handles for the springform pan so it can be easily removed from the Instapot
They sell sling accessories to remove inserts. Also some people mcGyver with tin foil.
Which works to varying degreess....
Hi Jeremy and Family! This is Tresa and Jerry from Shreveport, Louisiana. We are working on being plant based. Thank you for all your videos. Your kids crack us up.
Hi Teresa and Jerry! Thanks for watching - glad we can put a smile on your faces!
Still have not jumped into the Insta world!!! BUT so tempted! The lasagna was the clincher!
Dive in - the water's lovely here in Insta World!
Everything looks scrumptious that you're making
Thank you!
Only recently I found your channel and immediately subscribed. I'm not a full PB/vegan yet, but your recipes are 'shoving' me towards my goal. Thank you. Cheers, from Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Welcome Pat!!! Glad you're enjoyingn it!
I haven't tried that African peanut stew recipe, but the Oh She Glows recipe is pretty much a weekly staple in my house, and I got a few other people hooked on it. I was making it for myself for quite a while. My husband said I was holding out on him when he finally tried it.
It's so good!
Hello from Belize, Central America! Love your channel!! I've been WFPB since 2011
Oh wow! Great job Kathy Sue!
I’d love a part II of this! Really enjoyed seeing how you work with what you have. I’ll be trying the vegan deli slices recipe for sure.
Thank you!
THANK YOU!! Suuuuper happy with the new IP and looking for recipes!
Our pleasure! Glad you're enjoying it!!!

A big Healthy Hello to all from Auntie Channie in Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 🙋♀️😊.
Hi Aunitie Channie!
Yes please - more of these great videos! Thank you so much! I'm from Lake County Florida. :)
Thanks Chandra!
Hey, J! 😁 On getting the lasagna out of the Instant Pot, do you have the rack that came with the IP? It has tall “wings” on it. I like to lower tricky pots into the IP by setting the pot on the rack and holding onto those wings of the rack.
If someone had two of the small spring form pans, they could build two lasagnas and cook them in succession to get leftovers. 👍🏻
I don't know if you can fit two inside of it height wise.... but that would be a great idea. I don't think the wings idea would work - it's VERY narrow - you can't really slide your fingers in there - and it's HOT when it's done.
@@pbwithjeremy Ahhh. I get it. Well, then I would suggest an aluminum foil sling under the pan. 👍🏻 Sometimes I have “grabbed” the edge of the pan (to remove it) with a long, strong-gripping pair of tongs. 😀
Love warm fruit!
We can hang :)
I love my instant pot and this video!
Yeah!
As a vegan I love my instapot! I’m watching from Astoria, Oregon.
Oh yeah 🎉
Would that lasagna pan fit on that trivet with handles you used for the mock deli meat? That way you wouldn’t burn your hands pulling it out.
Also .... link for springform pan?
That trivet with the handles is from my air fryer - it wouldn't work here because the arms for it would be an on angle and the pan wouldn't fit on top of them. :(
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ New subbie here from western NY…I am making this veggie stew today! ❤I am very new to this lifestyle…I am in about one month in.. I’m doing a lot of research & trying to learn everything…my ultimate goal is to be vegan.. but as of right now I still have one egg a day for protein purposes…I’m taking baby steps but I’m looking for a big payout health wise! I want to lose weight & be healthy! I’m turning 58 in April 🤭😳
Welcome Cindy - you can do this!!!
I am definitely a warm fruit person! I am one of your people! I also like pickles so we can be friends😅
We can be besties!!!
Love seeing your favorites! Maybe I missed it but is there somewhere that tells the source of the recipes? I recognized some but not all and want to try some of them. Thanks!
Which ones? Should be in the description below.
Hi from Lansing, Michigan. We're practically Canadian. My ancestors were in Quebec for a few hundred years before making it down here. I want to thank you for your channel. It showed up at the right time for me. This year I committed to stick to a WFPB diet. Your videos are just what I needed. Thanks!
Hey, I'm in Dewitt!
Hi Practically Canadian, Lisa Marie! Congrats on making the shift! Keep checking out the channel - so much here to help you!
Interesting video on the “deli meat.” Do you have, or seen, a recipe for a vegan “corned beef” that’s good??
Not yet! Let me know if you do!
Hi Jeremy, it's Sunny from New Jersey USA 🌞
Hi Sunny!
The lasagna looks good! But I do a deconstructed lasagna in the instant pot. add everything in all at once, even add lentils, break apart the noodles and the biggest plus is the amount you can make as apposed to just that small serving. Just came across your channel and really like what im seeing so far!!
Love that idea for a deconstructed lasagna - I accidently made that once :)
Hello from germany!
Hi Sarah!
Hi Janice from New Zealand 😊
Welcome!!
Yay for this! 🎉 I got one for xmas but havent used yet. Supposedly gotta make a water test first to ensure it doesnt leak.
Honestly also took me awhile to get the warning sticker off the inside of the inner lid of the Ultimate - anyone else baffled they'd put a difficult glue sticker on a food machine? 😅
I dove right in and didn’t even do the water test. 😂 of course that was after having the IP for over a year in its box.
THERE'S A WATER TEST??!?
I was never scared of it at all - I just dove right in.
A trick for getting stubborn stickers off : spray it with hair spray (really soak it) and let sit 5 minutes or so. Most stickers will just sluff right off. Then you can wash the hairspray off easily
Hairspray will also remove or fade sharpie marks from skin and many surfaces.
Hi Stephen Talbot from Australia
Hi Stephen!
Bar keepers friend will get your Instapot looking like it’s brand new!!! Thank me later ;)
What are you trying to say?!?!!
I know... it's a little worked in.... there's a couple kinds of that - is it the powder?
@@pbwithjeremy Lol!! All on love Jeremy ;) yes I use the powder
Just ordered some. I was planning on doing a deep clean this weekend anyway - thanks!@@ericalewis5612
@@pbwithjeremy And Thank You!!! for hosting this wonderful channel. It’s one of my favs🤗
Awwwww thanks :)
Jeremy, after you added the kale to the peanut stew, how much longer did you cook it? Did you put the cover back on the IP and pressure cook it or just cook it in the IP without the top? Thanks!
Just until it wilts a little bit - a few minutes - no need to put the IP setting back on
I've had an instant pot since last Christmas (2022) and it looks really good in the box. However, your recipes have inspired me to get over my fear and actually use it. So I will do that soon. As for warm fruit...I don't mind warm fruit as long as it ok to be warm, apples, peaches etc. but fruit that is suppose to be cold, melons for instance are NOT good warm. But if the apples in the pie or the peaches in the cobbler are warm and mushy, I have to draw the line there. No mush for me please! Love your videos and your recipes. Your family is the best!!
Break it out of the box! And agreed on the "some fruits shouldn't be warm" :)
If you use a foil sling it is much easier to get things out of the pot
when you use the steam function do you seal the valve?
I use it for pretty much every function except yogurt
Have you ever tried violife vegan cheese? THE BEST!!!
I have - it's a nice sometimes treat :)
Will I learn not to fear my instapot? Tune in to find out! 😉
Haha same, it's intimidating 😂 got one for xmas but havent used yet. Supposedly gotta make a water test first to ensure it doesnt leak.
Honestly also took me awhile to get the warning sticker off the inside of the inner lid of the Ultimate - anyone else baffled they'd put a difficult glue sticker on a food machine?
If I can do it so can you.
@@GaiaGalaxy420oh great. A water test to make sure it doesn’t leak? 😳 isn’t the factory supposed to do this? 😳😳😳
I never heard of a water test before just now
If I can overcome my extreme fear of the instant pot…. You can too 💕❤️
I’m 54, when my gran used to use her old pressure canner (from the 40’s) it was so dangerous that we grand kids (was in the 1970’s) could not use the inside bathroom on the farm! We had to use the bathroom that was out in the barn, to avoid coming in the house, around the pressure cooker….
We were told over and over and over again “don’t come in the house, we are using the pressure canner, you can die from the burns”….. this was drilled into us!!!
So …. Fast fwrd to a few years ago (I think about 4 now) my daughter suggested to my husband that he get me an instant pot for Christmas…
Well that instant pot sat in the box for 2 years.. TwO YEARS!! It’s wasn’t that I wasn’t grateful… I for sure was!!! I really was!! But I was terrified! Genuinely terrified…My whole childhood it had been drilled into me that pressure cookers were very bad and very dangerous! (In fairness, the pressure cooker my gran used from the 1940’s WAS indeed very dangerous)…
Finally …one day, my husband says to me “not trying to be rude, but if you don’t open the pressure cooker and use it, I’m going to give it to goodwill” (we have a very tiny home, zero storage)…
So 2 years ago… I bit the bullet, watched every RUclips video there was to watch on The Instant Pot and I opened it….
Guess what??? I LOVE IT!!!! It’s easy to use and pretty easy to clean… it makes amazing yogurt (plant based OR real dairy) it makes amazing potatoes, soups… chili’S.. the options are endless… and best of all, I can make chickpeas in 3/4 the regular time WITHOUT SOAKING!!!
I promise, once you open it… you’re gunna love it!! I use it so much I had to buy another bigger one for soups… we ended up building special hanging shelves in our garage, for storage of all my pots and pans and such!
So break out that instant pot and make your life easier!! 💕❤️💕❤️
How long did you cook the cobbler for after putting topping on?
Eeeep. This is a compilation so it's been awhile... if I didn't include it in the video chances are I wouldn't recall... it's in the IP, so it's steaming it in terms of cooking, so not long I imagine.
Buckwheat is kinda bitter. Maybe it was that
Hi Jeremy, please could you let me know the size of the tofu used in the Deli Meat recipe. The tofu in our supermarket comes in two sizes, 300gm or 500gm. Not sure which I should use for this recipe.
Sorry for the delayed response! The package I use is 350g
Hi Jeremy. I'm wondering what you would compare your deli meat to? As in what deli meat do you think it most resembles? I have never tried to make deli meat yet and if I'm going to give it to my family they will definitely want to know what it compares to. I'd love more videos with meat substitutes other than tofu....I know tofu is basically the easiest one but would love to expand my horizons on that front. Thank you for the videos.
Depends on how you flavour it - this one is more like turkey
@@pbwithjeremy Hi Jeremy. One more question about the deli "meat". If you are freezing it....should you freeze as a log or cut into slices then freeze..or does it matter (or what do you think is best). I am planning on making this soon to try it....lets see how my family reacts!
I don't think it would matter, honestly - just thaw it before slicing it if you do it as a whole. I think as a whole might be better, but I haven't tried... let me know how the family reacts!@@Pyliah
When you steam the seitan in the instant pot, should it be on hi pressure or low pressure? Thanks!
Sorry if I didn't include that - should be high pressure :)
@@pbwithjeremy Thanks so much!!!
My pleasure!
Do you think the 1/2 cup coconut sugar is necessary? Seems like apples and berries would be plenty sweet enough or that 1/4 cup of the sugar would be plenty. What do you think?
Agreed. We were following a recipe.
I don’t have just spinach or kale, but I do have power greens in a bag that is baby chard, baby spinach, and baby kale can I use that in the stew?
Heck yeah!!!
@@pbwithjeremy I just made the vegetable stew!!!! Used the power greens! Love it!!😍
Yeah! So glad you liked it!@@karlinashieldmaiden5073
How long did you pressure cook the potatoes?
I ended up doing it for 5 minutes and that worked! It was pretty good. I don't think my plant based son cared for it, stating it was okay (he did eat all of it) but my husband and I liked it so leftovers tomorrow.
That sounds about right - it honestly depends how small you cut them
#shirtcontest
Plants are my Dr. and my pharmacy
nice!
I’m curious why you couldn’t just use the inner liner of the IP to make the lasagna, layering the ingredients right in the liner. I’m gonna try it and I’ll let you know how it turns out 😂
Because the bottom would burn I think - you steam it is how it works.
Wait a minute... You say you don't have a slow cooker? Doesn't your Instant Pot come with a slow cooker function?
It does - but it, apparently, doesn't quite function just the same... but for me I'd rather have the IP
What kind of ice cream does your family use and like, since ice cream isn’t WFPB?
So I'd say we're WFPB 90% of the time - we'll still treat ourselves to vegan/plant-based ice
cream from time to time - but we make a lot of nice cream using frozen fruit too.
What size is your instant pot?
We have the 8 quart
I’ve heard IP isn’t great option for slow cooker recipes. 😢
I don't think that's the case across the board - but it's not quite the same. For me - I don't understand why you'd want a slow cooker as a Vegan - the real purpose is to slow cook meat so it gets tender.
I have tried the slow cooker program on the instant pot and the recipe still tastes as good as being made using the pressure cooker program. I suppose it comes down to personal taste.
I think so too
I need to find vegan sour cream. A really good one for Kringla. Help?
Make your own. So many recipes online - I don't have one on my site - but many others do - if you see oil in the recipe swap it out with aquafaba
@@pbwithjeremy that would explain why I couldn’t find one on your site. Thanks again Jeremy. This is an extremely important Christmas cookie recipe I’m trying to replicate with vegan. Wish me luck!
You've got 11 months to get it right! :)
are those butter croissants over there plant based?
The ones my daughter who isn’t fully plant-based eats? Probably not.
@@pbwithjeremy darn it!
They do exist though! Are you on the hunt for one???
@@pbwithjeremy I wouldn't say hunt. But not opposed either. hard to find a croissant that is any good without butter
Can you let us know where the recipes came from? Some of them you did.
I mention it in the intro - did you want to be more specific?
@@pbwithjeremy , it's okay. I'll watch the intro again. Thanks so much for all you're doing!

hate hate cooked fruit and especially in pies ! Just eat it raw :)
I like it both ways :)

Interesting. She does!
@@pbwithjeremy very interesting!
Yo whats up with you not being able to skip to an exact time stamp is this a new youtube updat?
Not sure - what's the problem exactly?
Dearest PBJ, sorry to be a clever egg, but in this form, as a porridge, buckwheat must be roasted brown. I cannot recall why, but believe the millions of slavic bwh esters🤭 There is sg with the digestion (and surely, the taste) that is different
Thanks for the info - I'll look into that!

I just found this channel and watched a few videos, is this a theme on this show that the kids should be eating weird and disgusting? it is recurring in every videos? there is an inside joke behind this?
I’m not sure what you mean by the kids eating weird and disgusting things. If you mean they can be picky and have big reactions - sure - but the meals aren’t made with the hope to disgust them.
I think it’s that the kids chew with their mouths open , which isn’t good but it’s always a close up of them chewing that way 🥴 so it can be off putting.
