Totally brilliant tutorial. I have watched a few times and have had a go! First attempt was OK but leaves were terrible, second attempt was all wrong and third was much better, the leaves were quite good but overall if I could have a combination of my first and third attempt I'd be happy. Using the dagger brush was great. I'm left handed and found this tutorial easy to adapt as a left handed person. Thank you.

I'm so glad you like it! That happens to me too- it took me the better part of a week to design and consistently paint this rose and leaves, so I totally understand the struggle! Thanks for being here❤️

This is really great, thank you so much for such a detailed explanation of everything. Have been trying to master roses for a while now and find something that works for me.

That's nice to hear! It took me a loooong time to figure roses out. I still scrap my paintings 75% of the time 😂

@@bloomfeatherstudio1003 There are so many different angles and types of roses! it's hard to master them without a lot of practice. But your tutorial teaches a new way of representing them and makes it easy to follow ♥️ Hope you will do more. Thanks, Christine.

I will try! I'm teaching a class this fall, so I have a lot less time and creative energy, but I want to keep it up. I should have more time after the new year. 💗
