The color of the Goberment Palace is a mix between white and red, which used to be the colors of "Unitarios" and "Federales", the two politic movements in the XIX century. The color of the palace is a symbol to comunicate "Unity" between both parties.

Que hermosa es la ciudad de Buenos Aires❤ es la segunda ciudad más grande de Sudamérica después de de Sao Paulo en Brasil, sin ninguna duda el obelisco junto con la Avenida 9 de Julio, el barrio La Boca y los Bosques de Palermo son los sitios más recomendado y turísticos de la ciudad, me impresionó mucho que la superficie del puente de la Mujer está hecho con más de 100.000 botellas de plástico una cosa impresionante excelente video Alina ❤ 👍

A pesar de la "crisis"... Buenos Aires es la UNICA ciudad latinoamericana donde realmente sientes que estás en Europa... Y se los digo yo que vivo en Europa pero viajo frecuentemente a Mexico, Chile, Brasil y Arg. En los otros países también hay barrios muy bonitos y modernos, pero lo veo muy "forzado", y luego caminas 3 manzanas y ves la realidad... En BsAs lo veo todo mas espontáneo...

hi, about the football club Boca Juniors, theres an alternative meaning to the name of the stadium. A long time ago, one of the slang words for cow feces was "bombones", for the color and shape.
La bombonera really is the chocalate maker, but you can infer where this goes.

El petalo caido se rompio con el temporal de diciembre, fue tan fuerte que provocó varios destrozos :) buen video te recomiendo visitar villa gral belgrano y la cumbrecita en Cordoba donde mantienen un arqutectura centroeuropea con mucha presencia alemana ademas de los paisajes, que en fin muchos lugares lindos en toda argentina te llevaria meses :D saludos!

If you pay atention, Casa Rosada were two independent buildings divided by an alley. When it was decide that the goverment was be placed there, they build the main entrance in that alley. That's the reaseon why there is no simetry in the main fachade.

Como muestras interés en aprender de Buenos Aires debo corregirte un error muy común que cometen incluso los argentinos. El tango Caminto no es por la calle del barrio de la Boca. El autor de ese tango Gabino Coria Peñaloza lo escribió recordando en un desencuentro amoroso que sucedió en una calle muy angosta en la localidad de Olta en la provincia de La Rioja (lugar ubicado a unos 1000 Km de Buenos Aires). Muy hermoso video y muchas gracias por visitar y mostrar nuestra ciudad.

Very good video, but a small correction, La Boca is the mouth of the Matanza/Riachuelo river, not the Rio de la Plata which has it origins up north. Also Caminito is named after the song but the song is actually about a street in another province

Great and informative videos. I will be travelling to Buenos Aires end of month for a 10 days , would love to hear your take on safety , walking around , taking photos etc documenting the visit , how is \ was your experience safety wise ¿

I felt very safe although I talked to a woman from Buenos Aires and she told me that it always depends on where you are. If you leave the city center and the touristic places it’s meant to not be that safe anymore. And once a men on the street told me to be careful with my camera.
But everywhere where I was I wasn’t worried about taking out the camera and didn’t feel like I have to try to hide it somehow. Be careful, don’t let it lay around on a table when being in a restaurant, don’t have it in your backpack where people could sneak it out and I think you’ll be fine :)
Buenos Aires is nicknamed Paris of America, and it's no coincidence....
In mid-19th century, Paris was demolished and rebuilt to take on the appearance we know it today. Shortly after, Buenos Aires was also demolished and rebuilt in the image of Paris, with its architectural styles of that time: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau /deco and layout of large boulevards/avenues/diagonals and proliferation of parks, like Paris,

Así que estás muy equivocado. No hago nada por las vistas. Sigo APRENDIENDO español. Soy alemana que habla inglés desde hace 15 años y me siento muy cómoda en inglés y aleman pero no tanto en español. Además hago video por viajeros como yo y el idioma de los viajeros es inglés.

I felt completely safe. Locals told me that as long as you stay in the center and in the touristic places you will be fine. But in suburbs or less touristic areas it can get dangerous apparently

Sí, se sabe, lo que le pasó a la gente que fué secuestrada en la dictadura entre 1976 y 1983 es que fueron secuestrados, torturados y asesinados de las formas más terribles en las que un ser humano puede morir. Te recomiendo que veas la película "Argentina 1984" o "La Noche de los Lápices" Y sí podés, leé el libro "Nunca Más"...Un saludo y espero que puedas volver pronto!!!
Pensé que son más como “teorías”. Teorías que están bastante aseguradas pero nadie lo sabe con 100% seguridad. Y también pensé que por ejemplo nadie sabe donde están los cuerpos.
Es realmente terrible que pasó en esta época en Argentina (y durante otras épocas en otros países). Muchísimas gracias por las recomendaciones de películas y del libro. Lo voy a buscar!
Yo tengo un hermano desaparecido en esa década 😢 No encontraron sus restos pero sí encontraron el de otros miles de militantes políticos socialistas, algunos fueron compañeros/as de él. También, el Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos admitió en 1979 creo que ya había 20,000 desaparecidos. La película 1985 también muestra un poco la continuidad de ese proceso. Saludos.

Mentiras...! es todo "Relato" de la izquierda terrorista que comenzó la Guerra Civil en los años '70 y la perdió totalmente en 1976, huyendo como ratas al exilio e inventando el verso de los "desaparecidos", que eran terroristas criminales que fueron abatidos durante esa guerra por las Fuerzas de la Ley.
