No kidding. Technically if you finished all your dailys you earned 1800 gems over the course of the 15 days you had to be off, but how bout the dedicated playes get a free 1000. I feel like this is the second time I've gotten burned for being a consistent player instead of being a "returning"one . I usually don't leave text suggestions in the md surveys, but I'm definitely mentioning this and I hope the rest of my md daily players leave similar messages.

Not gonna lie -MD gets much more updates then TCG. It wouldnt be wierd if we get MD exclusive archetype (like tcg) in the next 1-2 years.

TCG players should be happy about anything Master Duel gets early. You get a WIDE testing pool and your own opportunity to test cards out in that wide pool before having to pay for them, since you don't actually have to spend any money in Master Duel.

bro TCG have most of things almost a year before MD… plus there’s so many free to play ygo game that don’t need you to craft cards like master duel

@@luiscruz3261 I do know that, but that is a much smaller sample size. Master Duel gives a wide sample size and new deck ideas.
In fact, the whole Kashtira package that is doing so well in the TCG in Snake Eyes came from Master Duel rather than the OCG.
There are very large benefits to having a large sample size rather than the limited one. Often times, DB doesn't do a ton of innovating since they play the cards as soon as they debut and get a lot of their ideas from the OCG.
When you aren't really competing, there isn't a drive to innovate. The constant competition of Master Duel and huge player pool pushes a ton of innovation.
@@wunderkind2396 Having some differences doesn't mean there isn't a benefit. Like I mentioned to someone else, the Kashtira Snake Eyes that has been winning a bunch in TCG came from Master Duel.

Is the vanquish soul pack worth it? Is new support coming in the future or will vanquish soul still be a solid deck in the future?
Vanquish soul is a very strong deck but in this meta it's just a rogue, I had the most fun while playing VS
It's a solid deck and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
There's no new support for it announced anywhere.
It's pretty fun and decently strong. It has a lot of room for skill expression. When I play vs it feels more like chess and less like solitaire that my opponent keeps trying to interrupt.

And once again Konami showing their greed by forcing you to roll for Sky Striker Alt Art. Absolutely ridiculous.
One way to combat people purposely going down to Silver or Bronze in Ranked is to give out the gems they would have gotten then people are more likely to try so for example, i usually finish in Platinum so i go down to Gold but give me Rookie, Bronze and Silver rewards in gems. If Konami would be worried about giving out too many gems, then do Ranked every 2 months instead but it should be every month and get the previous ranks gems automatically to de-courage people to rank down.
so similar to how it works in the Duelist Cup.
You do realize lower ranks gets less gems so there is 0 reason to want to be lower ranks if you want more gems. You are actively missing out on like 250-500 gems each month
@@RedTheWeeb idk 250-500 extra gems isn't compelling enough to slog through a whole ladder of teir 1-3 deck constantly. Atleast from gold-plat you can have some Rogue decks in the mix; which imo makes the game more fun.
@@RedTheWeeb Probably depends where you are ranked, in my case, i'm not good enough to be in Diamond or Master so Platinum is usually my limit where i try to get to each season.

As someone who logged in and played on 6/6, would I need to wait 2 weeks to be given the 'returning' player rewards and missions? Or is it better to simply continue playing? Would the Royal Finish Neo Galaxy Eyes, packs, and other goodies make up for the difference in lost gems?

would you say @Dkayed its better to go for Lord of Dimensions for Firekings etc if you havent gotten snakes and more, in fear of them being nerfed in the future like Tearslaments. So I can use my gems more wisely

Having pulled that Velmonica card out of a LEDE pack recently, im glad master duel is starting to catch up.
I pulled a royal of the ur velmonica girl. Is velmonica any good or at least fun. It's begging to be dusted but I'm gonna go back into the pack a couple times and I don't want to dust it if it might be worth playing.
@abeardthickerthanyours6416 it's not gonna be a top tier deck but you can get some wins out of people not knowing what they do. For me they're a fun deck. But yeah, the temptation to dust a royal is intense

Iron thunder has got iron dragon tiamaton on it and it has kinda the same effects as it, once summoned any card in its column gets destroyed unless protected from non target

OMG TRADE INNNN! I have been wanting to play blue eyes deck on ladder but it always requires trade in to be a bit more consistent. So I always cldn't really take it there but now there is such an accessible way to get it, especially cos I wanted to play Photon also. IM SO FKING HAPPY😊😊😊
I made a 60 card sky striker deck with a cyber dragon engine. end board can only make a minimum of 2 interactions, but the grind game is very strong.
