These are our favorite diapers! We don’t care stay dry vs natural but we don’t use their inserts. We either stuff with Clotheez flats, prefolds or just the Clotheez inserts. It’s crazy to me though because from newborn-8 months we couldn’t settle on one type of diaper I loved. It’s like nothing worked for Leo. Then at 8 months I got one of these and fell in love ❤️ and they’re still our favorite even 19 months later
I’ve been using clotheez inserts this year and I love em 🙌🏼 i have their hemp & Sherpa inserts and they’re really good quality. But I agree, these pocket diapers are good! Plus Thirsties has been killing it with the print game lately 🔥
I love the natural pockets, my stash is mainly Thirsties pockets. I have one stay dry (same print as your natural) but I get compression leaks every now and then, when my son decides to be a flooder! I use a natural pocket+geffen prefold size s as a night time solution for my 1yo and it works very well! Love your review!

Does the natural pocket get edgewear overtime like the natural all in one? Weve used the stay dry for years and theyve held up great but need some more & looking at the natural version this time but my natural all in ones got edge wear super fast & if the pocket gets holey then its sort of worthless as a pocket.
I wish you could purchase the stay dry pockets with the option to buy natural inserts. I really don't like spending my money on more microfiber inserts I won't use. I'd rather use everything I spend money on which is why I bought natural pockets.
Meagan see, id love an option with no inserts. I mainly use flats with these and then use the inserts as a booster. I like when companies offer their pockets with no inserts. It’d be cool to have the option to either choose which kind of insert you want (if you even want one) with these diapers.
veronica inge Thirsties fits a little bigger than mama koala. There’s no weird bending in the front like there is with mama koala. MK has an awkward fit after a certain point lol. I like the inner of MK better. I like the quality of Thirsties better. Just overall made with better quality materials. Plus Thirsties is more absorbent. I love Thirsties hemp I’m interested to see how the Thirsties wears over time. So far MK diapers have worn decently over the past 2 years. A bit of relaxing elastics on some diapers after 2 years.
I don't care for the Thirsties covers (duo wraps, I think they're called) at all, and just sold off 2 of the 3 I had. It was an odd fit for both my 1 and 2 y/o and I don't like how thin the PUL is. 😬 That being said, you've now piqued my interest in the Natural Pockets and inserts! They look nice and a lot of people swear by their hemp inserts...but I probably won't get them. Great review!
Back in 2015/2016 I really did not like the Thirsties covers because the tpu was thin and my girls always leaked out of it. I did love the Thirsties size 1 for the newborn stage in 2018. The fit was really great. I didn’t even want to give it a try because I had already tried it on 2 kids and hated it 😂 I was surprised that I loved the size 1 with willow lol. I do find the tpu on the pockets to be much thicker than the covers. It’s just overall sturdier, imo.

Thirsties natural pockets are the only pockets I use! But I’m a huge advocate for zero microfiber and only use natural fabrics.
