I agree GM discontinued the full size RWD cars after 96 they then converted the Arlington Texas plant to build the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon

my friends G'pa had a black one just like this it was a 95 model I loved that car! it was so big and so smooth driving . when he passed away he left it to her we would take it on trips and it was the most comfortable car to take a road trip in ! i'd love to have one !
That's what I like. All stock, no oversized rims. And I'm a Lincoln person for the most part.

the key was for the spoke hubcaps it had b4 the rims were installed. very nice vehicle no doubt!
One of my favorite cars, had a 95 with 31,000 miles, no sunroof or gold package. Have a 96 Buick Roadmaster Collectors Edition with 22,641 and tow package (no tow hook). Black on maroon.
Cabriolet vinyl top, & that doo hickey in the glove box you had no idea what it was, key for rims. Beautiful car. The LT1-4SPEED AUTO, made this TRUE LAND YACHT a sleeper & great highway cruiser. I, bought mine brand new fully equipped, ASTROROOF, power everything, tow package (shroud in front of fan),so,it had an lower gear ratio & limited slip axle. I, had to be VERY CAREFUL ABOUT NOT SKIDDING MY REAR VOGUE TYRES ,but,I chose the TRUE SPOKES COMBO. Mine was silver metallic. But,this car here is beautiful, some 1 is going to enjoy & EXPERIENCE the true CADILLAC that made it the "STANDARD OF THE WORLD". GREAT CAR,NJOY.
Wow they were nice cars they all shared the same chassis caprice roadmaster and Fleetwood the only difference the Cadillac chassis was stretched slightly

Man this one has the full Boss Hogg package on it, that vinyl top looks a lot nicer than the factory one IMO. I'm sure this one sold quickly and for a pretty penny.

You forget to mention that Motor Trend wrote that this was the quietest car they ever tested up to that point.
The thing that was in the glove compartment and he said he had no idea what it was for is the key to the moon/sun roof when the electrical fails. You insert the key usually in a hole after you remove the light in the ceiling and the. Wind it shut or open.
I have binge watched the contents of this channel. Love it! These 80's and 90's cars bring back memories of my childhood. However, the uploader is Viking like! An absolute bull in a china shop. 😂😂😂😂 He yanks everything open, slams everything closed, pounds every button! I can only imagine what his personal vehicles must look like 😆😆😆

kno ur cars . That Eldorado with 5.7 F.I. 350 what a gem, I owned one , wont crap on the 4100 but a factory 5.7 Eldo in that body is so incredibly rare.

a beautiful example, they could have stayed with the 5.3L or 5.7L like this one, instead of those NORTHSTAR engines which was the last straw for me, I owned caddies up until 93 always the DeVille... these cars would have stayed very reliable and the " do it yourselfer " could maintain it themselves..

Not the same. These Fleetwoods are a D body, while the Roadmaster shared a platform with the Impala/Caprice.
Mike Singer Very true. This is a common misconception. The Fleetwood and Broughams (and pretty much the entire gamut of RWD Cadillac) always lived on the D body which was GM's *commercial* full-size passenger car chassis. The Caprice/Pontiac/Olds/Buick variants were all B body cars.
The platforms were similar, and so some components shared, but there is a reason these Cadillacs had a slight advatange in the durability department, and why they also exhibited much lower NVH than their GM cousins. That platform was engineered for HD use.

There’s a aftermarket sunroof brand called Wabasto, it’s the best of the best I have a 03 Honda Pilot EX-L with a aftermarket sunroof and it looks like it was factory installed ( the first year of the pilot didn’t have a sunroof option)

I had a gold Olds 98 special edition...4 dr. was in mint condition. Was my favorite car ever. I named her Queenie. Then a Dodge Ram 1500 came out of nowhere after I crossed the intersection and hit me in back end. Tore my car to pieces. She had to be junked. Ive been trying to find me another just like her.

I still cant believe cadillac stuck with that total garbage Northstar motor for so long, why not just a Gen 2 of the 4.9 like GM did with the 3.8 (3800 series) v6. Shame too because Northstar in anything killed resale for the car...these cars, and ones that still had 4.9l v8..only omes to have...
