The Chinese characters on the sticker means "Black Singel". I'm not sure if it means Black frame Single edge or Black coating Single edge. Deal to that it's illegal to sell otf blade in China, especially MT because everyone loves it, retailers have developed their own language to distinguish every different version like secret codes.
Go with Hogue or even Cobratec if pricing is an issue. You can get some mean stuff from H&K's American made OTF line that are at or under $100.00 and don't support intellectual theft.
@@Northernknives American knife manufactures are starting to import the parts from China and assembling them here, for example, Boker (called and asked, own a Kalashnikov and love it) but there are many others. The difference is knives like Microtech are more heavy-duty and last much longer and the majority are much better grades of steel. Most Chinese use D2 and the HRC is questionable. You pay for longevity and better quality steel. If it isn't an EDC or just for show it doesn't matter much. I have seven hundred dollar knives and some very good fifty dollar knives and I would bet my life on either one of them to defend myself. People in poor countries have been using less expensive knives for generations for work and self-defense just fine. If I owned Microtech I would be upset that someone put their name on my baby that I poured my blood and sweat into to make a name for. Just my opinion, not Gods truth
I don't care what anyone says those wish knockoffs are definitely worth it for the price. And you can get those for 20 all day. You got ripped off at 55

There's a Chinese knife maker that does a clone of the troodon that's almost identical. I have a genuine and a clone, and I can barely tell the difference. That one is trash.
